couple of weeks ago. 

The blond is s Shave 'n Style Ken

His beard and mustache are easily wiped off 

with my finger. 

The brunette Ken is

Doll is Thrift Store find. 

There is a story behind this. 

Yesterday, I began my treasure hunting at the Flea Market. 

One vendor was selling a Ken doll (a different one) with 

some clothing. Price was right so I bought them. 

Picked up this Ken doll with a different outfit. 

When reseaching who he was today, I looked at what 

he should be wearing.  I decided to look in the shoebox of the

stuff I bought at the Flea Market. There inside I found the 

top and the bag with the visor and the bottle missing the label. 

There were also sunglasses, so Ken got them too. (Don't think they belong) 

No pants, so I put on a pair that seemed close.

Gave him a pair of brown loafers (Couldn't see what kind of shoes he had)

Now he needs a story to go with him.

 Went to Wal-Mart after work today since I haven't been there for awhile. 

Wasn't expecting to find anything new. 

But was pleasantly surprised. Haven't seen these before.
Needed some more male dolls in my collection.

My older daughter KT is getting married in February, so I thought I would find a bride and groom 

doll to surprise her at her bridal shower. At first I thought I would buy an all ready made couple from E-Bay. But then had the idea of getting a Barbie and Ken doll and dress them up with a complete wardrobe. 

They had to be the right dolls. Chris has blond hair and KT is a brunette.  I knew I wanted the Fashionistas

Ken was easier to find then the brunette Barbie.

Now I am on the hunt for the wardrobe and a pair of glasses for Barbie.  I don't sew (I probably could, but there is a story behind why I don't) Will save that story for another day. KT's future mother-in-law has told me that KT said to her that I would probably do some crazy thing like this.  KT does not share my passion for dolls. (Neither does my younger daughter).

Any ideas on what to include with the Bride and Groom would greatly be appreciated.

Summertime

Summertime, time for going down to the shore.  Here is Summer from the 2005 Cali Girl Series.  She is missing her original outfit, sunglasses and earrings.  Summer  is wearing a swimsuit from the Barbie Butterfly Art series of dolls which was made in 1999.

Teresa is from the Palm Beach series of dolls. Made in 2002.  Teresa has a painted on orange swimsuit and necklace.  Missing her white cover-up.

Stacie is from the Wee 3 Friends Series of Dolls by Mattel.  Made in 2004. Has on her original outfit. Has a whistle around her neck.  Check out those cute sandals!

Ken is from the 2004 Cali Girl Series.  Has on most of his original outfit. Pants and shoes were replaced.

Olympic Skater Ken

Thought I would post some pictures of my guy dolls I have found.  This is Olympic Skater  Ken from 1998.   He came as a set with Barbie. Ken has on his original outfit, skates, and Olympic Gold Medal. These dolls were made to represent the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan .
