Monday, after the  radiation treatment, I asked my brother 

to take me to Target. (which is right down the street from the Hospital). 

I finally got the last doll in the Liv Alice in Wonderland Series. It was 

on sale, so I thought I better get it when I saw it.

Toy's R Us had a big sale today. 

Sale is also tomorrow

Saw it in a flyer and on a commercial. 

On my way doing errands today,

I decided I was going to stop 

and see what they had. 

Single doll Bratz were on sale 50% off 

The 19.99 Bratz were Buy one get 50% off another. 

Moxie dolls were 50% off

On the commercial they showed Monster High Dolls

but there were none to be found. 

Barbie was 20% off. 

What caught my eye was something that 

I wanted to buy but not at full price.

Liv Dolls and Liv Playsets were 50% off.

And they had a lot of LIV items left.

Since I was in Wal-Mart, I had to go 

down the doll aisle.

To my surprise there were new

I couldn't leave without buying at

price.

Next Chow Mein Noodle Salad. 

Great lunchtime meal if you are dieting. 

Steak and Eggs for Breakfast anyone?

French Bread and Cheese make a good

mid-afternoon snack. 

Sausage Pizza topped with mushrooms and peppers. 

Great lunch for the kids. 

A delightful double decker pudding with cherries on the side. 

And our last item for today! 

Everybody's favorite, Lime Gelatin with fruit slices.

They are magnets, but I thought they would make great food 

items.  They were still wrapped in plastic.  Had stickers 

saying they were purchased at A.C. Moore (craft store).

Today, my other half's daughter asked if I would sell her 

Cabbage Patch Dolls . She has about 10 of them. 

I most likely will be selling them on E-Bay.  So if you are interested 

in Cabbage Patch dolls, watch for my posting when I am putting them 

up on E-Bay. 

Question:  Has anyone seen a Halloween Barbie for 2011?  Went to Target today. 

There were none.

Is Mattel making them this year?

Moxie Teenz - Series 2

I usually have been staying home on Thursdays,

but today I needed to go out and pay a bill. So

I decided while I was out I would to go

to another Wal-Mart 

(I haven't been to this one in ages).  Wanted to see 

if they had the LIV "It's My Nature" dolls on sale or 

any other outfits or accessories.

There were no "It's My Nature" dolls to be found, but 

I was able to pick up two other outfits.

At this Wal-Mart, they had no new LIV dolls.  They had 

The Barbie Jeans Basic dolls priced at 15.00. (The store I 

usually go to never got the Barbie Jeans Basics) They 

also had some S.I.S. dolls which the other two Wal-Marts I go to don't.

(Neither do Target or TRU's)

But going down the aisle I saw something that I have 

wanted for awhile.  I had gotten the Moxie Teenz Bijou No 2 many months 

ago.  But it seems like all the stores (Target, TRU's and Wal-Mart) never 

got any of the other dolls in the series.  I thought it was a lost cause since

I wasn't going to buy them on E-Bay for double the price. 

There they were, Tristen and Melrose.  But no Arizona. And you

know I wasn't going to leave the store without them.

dolls that I want to buy.  Well, there is one more Wal-Mart that 

I can go to.  Maybe Sunday?

Liv Purchases

During the past month I have been looking at 

the clearance aisle in Wal-Mart. Picked up 

a few Liv items. Hopefully they will soon have 

a 50% off their clearance items.

Has laptop, case, ipod, cell phone.

3 different outfits.  I love the multicolored jacket. 

Too bad they don't make it in my size.

Thrift Store finds today. 

It seems that I am finding newer dolls (less than 2 years old) more 

and more at the Thrift Store. 

Why aren't young girls keeping their dolls as long as we did?  

Memorial Day 2011

When I was small, my parents had a peony bush in front of our 

house which would bloom around my birthday.  When 

I bought my own house, my brother surprised me with my own pink peony.

My peony bush started blooming this past week. I have been meaning

to take a picture, but forgot.  At 6 am today we had a storm pass through, but it

turned out to be a sunny day after all.   When I went to take a picture of my peony bush, 

 all that was left was one flower and a few buds which haven't bloomed yet.

At least I got one picture, but have to remember to take another when the buds bloom.

Another year has passed. The body gets older, but my mind is still the same. 

Grateful for the past year. 

Today I received a nice monetary gift from my significant other. He would 

rather give me money so I can purchase whatever I please. 

So this morning, I decided to take a ride to Toy's R Us. Found they had 2 of the Denim Basics.

But didn't care for either one.  Anyway they were priced 21.98

Then I drove over to Target where I found

They also had Model No. 5 and Ken Model 16 with the Blond Hair.

 They didn't interest me.

I also picked up an Alexis with the darker skin tone. 

.

On the way home, I stopped at IHOP to pick up my favorite treat.

German pancakes with lemon and butter. 

It's been an enjoyable day!
