51 Years Young!

Happy Birthday to my handsome eternal boyfriend!  He is the best thing that happened to me in my life.  Jas is passionate, inclusive to all, caring, big hearted, loving, hard working, a natural leader, smart, whitty, funny and gives 110% to his family and his job!  He is the best dad and husband around.  I'm so grateful to call him mine!  He is my best friend and adventure buddy and there is no one I would rather spend my days with.  

 Jas loves banana pudding, honey roasted peanuts, roast chicken, spaghetti, March Madness, fishing, his dog Reggie, his wife and three kids! 

Reggie Loves the Snow and Life Updates!

At the beginning of March we got a pretty large snow storm so Reggie was in heaven.  I couldn't resist taking some pics of him playing in the snow.  He thinks snow is magical.  Jas would throw a snowball and Reggie would run and try to retrieve it.  It was so funny to see him so confused when he couldn't find the snow ball!  haha.  

Reggie also loves his buddy! 

Life is a little crazy right now.  This is what $100 of groceries looks like.  Inflation is so bad.  Gas and groceries prices are through the roof.  Regular gas is around $4.30 a gallon with premium close to $5 a gallon.  Things are tough. I'm super grateful for my job and Jason's job and that we are in a financially secure place in our lives.  Russia (Putin) has attacked Ukraine so there is unrest in Europe.  The pandemic is still trying to hold on but is slowly disappearing for now.  The last couple of years have been one crazy ride. 

The Smith Kids are doing well.  Berklee is living in Utah County and working full time.  Brevin is in Alaska working for the Skinners and Brightyn is in St. George attending Dixie State University.  So Jas and I are enjoying each other and having a lot of alone time for the first time in almost 24 years.

How did this little cutie grow up so fast?  Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday to my sassy, funny, silly, kind hearted, hard working, loyal, passionate and dog loving girl of mine. I still can't believe she is a  young woman.  I'm so proud of her! Berklee works so hard and is doing amazing things in her life.  She has found such a wonderful guy and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them.    I wish I could go back in time for just a few minutes and hold this little girl & drink in a moment of cuddles with her.  Time truly is a thief!
