Brightyn's First Dance Competition of the Season!

This cute girl competed this weekend at the Aspire Dance Competition at Weber State.  She competed her solo on Friday night and looked so beautiful.  She placed 2nd in her category.  This year she is doing a jazz solo which is a little out of her comfort zone and she rocked it.
On Saturday we were back at Weber State watching the girls compete their team dances.  Brightyn is in 4 dances this year.  Two hip hop dances, one jazz and one contemporary.  All of her dances were so cute.  They did a great job! Their Wiggle Jiggle hip hop dance took a diamond first place.

Brevin's Sophomore Basketball Season

On February 21, 2017 Brevin had his very last game as a Sophomore. About 3 weeks before their final game of the season Brevin had his feet ran over by a car and broke his big toe in two places.  The doctor told him that he would be in a boot for 4-6 weeks until it fully healed.  Brevin was super frustrated that he couldn't finish out his Sophomore basketball season.  So after two weeks in the boot he told us and his coaches that he was going to try and play because he wanted to play the last two games of his season.   Brevin is tough as nails and went back to working hard a practice and played through the pain.  He was able to finish the season playing his last two games of the season.  He is a warrior with the heart of a lion!
Brevin had a fabulous Sophomore season.  He was a team captain and starter of his team.  He played so well and was the best defender on his team.  It was a great growing experience for Brevin!

Brevin really enjoyed having Coach Fry as his coach and is very sad to see him leave Viewmont to seek other opportunites.
