The Lights at Temple Square

We had a blast as a family going to see the Lights at Temple Square.  It is always so beautiful!  Of course we took Grammy & Jack along for the fun.  After we came back to our house and had some yummy homemade hot cocoa!
Kisses all around!

Merry Christmas 2016!!!

 Merry Christmas!

It was was a wonderful day spent with my favorite people.  We had our omelets in a bag for breakfast and then headed to our church services.  We decided to wait to open presents until after church because we didn't want to be rushed and wanted to take our time and enjoy it.  We just had sacrament meeting and it was beautiful.  The meeting was filled beautiful Christmas music and the Spirit.  It was amazing!!!  After church we headed home in a hurry so we could open our gifts.  It was so fun!  Everyone was happy and fun!! Annnnd we all got spoiled!

The best gift we got this Christmas was the beautiful white fluffly stuff, SNOW!  We all wanted a white Christmas and boy did we get one--12 inches of the white fluff!  So that meant a lot of shoveling today, but it was worth the beauty it brought.

Grammy got 16 inches.  When we showed up to her house you couldn't even tell where the stairs were.  It was that deep!
 My cute hard working shovelers!
 Of course Ella got spoiled!
A new bed, a jacket and a stuffed reindeer!

BFF's sharing what they got for Christmas and exchanging gifts!!!

I love that they are still so excited to see what Santa brought!

Another thing that I love is that my kids still love to sleep together in the same room on Christmas Eve.  ((Berklee had already gotten up before I could snap this pic!  Darn it!))

Christmas Eve 2016

Christmas Eve was wonderful.  We are truly blessed with so much.  Grammy came over to celebrate with us.  K.C. and Holden couldn't make it.  We had beef & chicken kabobs, twice baked potatoes, veges and rolls.  For dessert we had brownies and peppermint ice cream.

We played games, ate, did our nativity, ate some more and put on our Christmas PJ's and went on our annual Christmas lights drive.

The kids had a blast putting together a short video of Brevin being funny and drinking his sparkling cider.

Ella starred as Baby Jesus again.

What a fun night.  I love my family.  Santa even made a stop at our house because all the Smith kids have been nice this year, well most of the time!!!

My cute Elves made cookies for Santa!
