Football Game Against Herriman

 We played our first cross over game on Saturday morning in Herriman.  Brevin played amazing!  We had two of our key players out with injuries, one of which is our other quarter back.  So we had no one to back up Brevin.  So the pressure was on Brevin.   He handled the pressure so well.  He did a fabulous job.      

 Brevin threw for 2 touch down passes.   Coach Dad wouldn't let Brevin play any defense because he didn't want Brevin getting hurt.  Which kind of bummed Brevin out because Brevin LOVES playing D.   

 I was so proud of Brevin!  He really stepped up and lead his team to an awesome win!

Back To School

 I can hardly believe that the summer is over and we are back to school.  I always feel a little bit melancholy every year when my kids head back to school because I know that they are one year older.  I would like to stop time!  

 Brevin was the first to head out the door this morning.

 This cutie was next to leave.  She was lucky and got to sleep in this morning because classes for Juniors didn't start until 9:30.  I really can't believe that she only has two more years of high school left!

 And my baby was the last to leave for 6th grade.  Help!  This is my last year of elementary school!

Football Begins!

 Here we go!  Another season begins.  We had our scrimmage game against Bountiful on Saturday.  We played hard but ended up losing.  Brevin threw an amazing touch down pass. 

 We were missing a few of our players due to vacations and injuries so Brevin ended up playing in 6 different positions.  He did an awesome job!  He really understands and has great feel for football.  I love to watch Brevin play! 

Homecoming Dance!

 On Monday night there was a loud pounding on the front door.  Brightyn opened the front door to find this!  Berklee was being asked to Homecoming.  School hasn't even started.  I love it.   

Berklee is so excited to go with Landon.  Landon and Berklee went to pre-school together and he used to be our neighbor so they know each other well.  Dress shopping here we come!   

Friday Night Lights!

 This past Friday the Viewmont High School held a fundraiser event called Friday Night Lights.  They had the drill team perform, the cheerleaders, food vendors, games, activities and scrimmages of both the little league football teams and the high school teams.  So two of my kids participated in it.  We had a fun evening of watching them do their thang!   It was a good way to warm everyone up for the upcoming football season

I really can't believe that football season is right around the corner!   

Our Fairy Garden!

 Brightyn and I had so much fun making this fairy garden.  We found most of our stuff at the Dollar store or at the clearance section of the craft store.  We even hand painted the little houses.       

Ogden Temple Open House

 This afternoon as a family we headed up to Ogden to tour the newly remodeled Ogden temple.  It was beautiful!  I love what they have done.  It is completely updated.  It doesn't even look like the same temple both inside and out.  Love it!
