My baby is 7--Happy Birthday Brightyn!

Brightyn turned 7 today! I just can't believe it. Why does time go by so quickly? The older my kids get the older it makes me feel. I made this incredible cake. I saw this cake on my friend's blog spot(theidearoom.blogspot.com) and knew that I had to make it for Brightyn. Brightyn has always been like a rainbow, bright, happy, and free! We have always called her our rainbow moonbeam, she just goes with the flow!

Look how amazing it is inside. The best part is it also tastes so YUMMY!! I spent most of the day making the cake, but it was totally worth it.

Brightyn was thrilled with her cake. I always make my kids a "theme" cake for their birthday. This one was so much fun! It makes a big cake so Brightyn took pieces of cake to her friends in the neighborhood that saw the cake before it was cut and were excited to see what it was like inside.

This is the year that we do a family activity instead of a friend party. So Brightyn chose for the family to go to the Rec center. We had a blast!!! Brightyn was so excited to show me that she could jump off the low dive.

Everyone took a turn on the slide. Brevin always came out like a rocket!

Dad always came out with a ginormous splash!

Berklee always came out in some dance position.

Of course we had to rock climb!!

We were attacked!!

We were hit last night by the obnoxious Coug fans that live in our circle! This is what we woke to this morning. Brevin cleaned up a bunch of it before I had a chance to take a picture. There were posters all over our garage. They made and hung blue "Y" as ornaments in our trees and made a poster that said, "Have a Blue Christmas." Then put blue boxes to represent presents under our trees. It was actually pretty funny.


We found out later that three of the families had helped in this attack!

They even spray painted my cute red UTE pumpkin!

I guess this is what you get when you paint red "U" on the neighbor's lawn after the Utes won last year! (((haha)))

GO UTES!!!

Heading out for the UTE football game today!! You couldn't have asked for better football weather today. The mix of the cool crisp air and the many yummy food smells was incredible!! Not to mention the sun was out most of the game. Can you believe it is almost the end of November!! We were spoiled with the weather this football season.

Jason and I had season Ute Football tickets this year. We had sooo much fun! I think we will have to do it again next year!!!

Basketball Begins!!

Brevin started basketball back in October. I finally remembered my camera at his game last week. I had high hopes that it would take some great pics but the lighting was awful and I think I need a super duper lens to get the kind of pics I want. Anyhoo, here are some pics that kind of turned out.

Brevin has had alot of fun with his team this year. They are undefeated so they are going to play together during the winter session as well. I think they are going to play a grade up for some more competition!

Football Ends!!

Football ended a couple of weeks ago. I am just getting around to posting some pics. We had a great season!! Brevin grew a ton and enjoyed it so much this year having his Dad coach him.

We had our banquet last week. What a great bunch of boys we had on our team this year. I love the Gremlin age of football. The boys are still sweet and innocent! So cute!

Farm Fresh Eggs!

Berklee works at a farm down the road. So last night Brevin & Brightyn went to the farm with her to help. They came home with some fresh farms eggs.

So for breakfast this morning we had fresh eggs. They really do taste better!

First Snow Storm!!!

Well, it was a really good thing that Brightyn raked the leaves because the snow fell the next day!!

Brevin and Brightyn decided they would try out Ella's new sweater and take her out for a walk in the snow!!!

Brevin was soooo excited for the snow. He spent most of the day outside in it. He was mad that there wasn't more!!

Ella wasn't happy about the snow and wouldn't go very far on their walk. They only made it to the neighbors house and Ella wouldn't take another step. She is such a princess! But she looks cute in her new sweater!!!

Leaves, Leaves, and more Leaves!

Today after school Brightyn asked if she could rake up leaves. Of course my answer was YES! She got busy and worked hard.

Loving Boze!

Boze is a busy bunny. We let him run around outside today. However, if you don't keep an eye on him he disappears quickly. Don't tell Berklee but Brightyn lost him temporarily. So we spent some time wandering around the circle looking for him. We found him in the neighbor's yard behind their shed. Finding a bunny is not an easy thing to do. They are quick and quiet! We had to corner him. I am sure it was a site to watch us. Have you ever seen someone chase a bunny? Hilarious!
