Grandparents Day!

The third grade had Grandparents Day at school. So Brevin was lucky enough to bring Grammy. Grammy is my kid's only Grandparent that lives locally. So we feel pretty lucky to have her. They have the Grandparent's share a little something about themselves and Grammy learned that Brevin's teacher was from the same small town in Idaho that she was from. Small world!
Brevin came home so excited that Grammy was able to come to school with him. Thanks Grammy!!! (The above picture is an old one. It was the only one I could find with Grammy & Brevin in. Boy, I better take an updated one!)
This is the cute note Brevin wrote to Grammy to thank her for coming to Granparents Day!!

Insect Safari

Brevin and Mr. Butler looking for bugs!!!
Today I was able to attend the Insect Safari Fieldtrip with Brevin. We walked over to Smoot Park and hunted for bugs.

On the hunt!!

We found skeeter bugs, dragon flies, spiders, caterpillars, bees, & worms. Brevin was more interested in playing in the water!

Brevin doing what he is not supposed to be doing. Jumping the banks. UGH! Then of course 10 other kids followed!! Good thing there wasn't a teacher around to see!

Once again, Brevin leading the pack into trouble. Brevin was walking through the water with his shoes on! ICK! So when he came across the under ground pipe he had to go through it.

Ty, Dylan, Brevin, Braxton, Ashlyn, Sydnie, Robin
My cute group of kids that helped me find bugs! Look at how thrilled Brevin and Ty look!

See, Brevin doesn't even care that his socks and shoes are soaked! STINKY!!

Jason's Barber Shop!

Brevin has needed a hair cut for a while now. He has begged to keep his hair long. So I have let him. Well, after this last football game he decided he was done with the longer hair. At least for the rest of the football season. He couldn't stand the sweat dripping in his eyes from his shabby long hair.
So of course Dad went to work with the clippers. Look at all of that hair on the towell!! He gave Brevin a haircut just like his, nearly bald! At least Brevin won't have sweat in his eyes any more!!

State Champion!

Utah State Fair 2009
I loved this green rusty fence. So I decided to take a picture of it and loved how Berklee & the goat showed up in the background!

Once again Cordelia & Berklee took it ALL!! That's right, they are State Champions. They took Best in Show out of all of the goats at the State Fair. WaaaHooo!!!

Berklee, Cordelia, and Cindy, the goat owner.
Cindy has been so great with Berklee. She owns the farm down the road from us. It has been so much fun for Berklee to get this opportunity to take care of and show goats.

Being silly with Sydnee!!

The big debut of her new belt buckle. It is as big as her!

Berklee helped show many goats today and this little gal did not want to walk. This goat would just lay flat on the ground. So Berklee had to carry her.

Jason even pulled out his old cowboy boots for the occasion. He wanted to fit in!

Chatty Kathy! This goat never shut up!

Say 'hello" to Wilbur.

Awwww! Cute baby pigs. I think the pigs were my favorite. They were all so clean and pink. I love the oinking noise they make!

We couldn't resist riding the GIANT yellow slide. Berklee got a head start so I was tyring to catch up.

WOW! Look at my hair!

Brightyn had a blast!

Let's GO VIKES!!!

Brightyn loved her Pom Poms!

Watching the drill team perform and waiting for their turn to dance on the field. Brightyn had so much fun. So it made it so much fun to watch.

Dad on patrol waiting to see if the injured kid needed a lift. Looks like he has some authority! ((((haha))))
