So aside from the ultra-depressing rain (and I know I have no reason to complain considering the calamities many other parts of the country have been facing), I actually have had quite a lot going on in my family that has kept me rather absent in the land of blog. Let's see if I can cram it all into one blog post. For Bookworm's final overnight fieldwork, their class went to the Krishna Gardens to perform service. For their learning expedition (It's a big long description - if you'd like to hear what a learning expedition is - email me!) the students were creating and publishing an urban farming manual. It turned out fantastic. They went to Krishna gardens, and all the kids ended up doing work in 2 days that it would have taken the monks a few weeks to finish. I confess.... I've super missed you guys during my little blogging hiatis. I confess... that all the busy-ness and happenings in my life have been much of the reason for my lack of blogging, but also - I think I've just been sorta depressed and unmotivated. It just. keeps. raining. I cannot handle it - I don't know how you people who live in Oregon and Washington and other rainy places deal with it day in and day out. I confess... that I ducked out of my board meeting early last night. I really tried to hang in there, but I started getting SO SICK. I was dying of heat, and feeling dizzy and nauseated, I could barely sit up in my seat. I have no idea what happened, but I finally had to tell the chair that I could not sit there any more, and I had to leave. I confess that I super heart Scotty McCreery, and I'm so so so so glad he won American Idol. I confess that I am super excited to have So You Think You Can Dance back on the air because I am super, duper excited

Do you ever wonder what people might think of your life if they found your phone and started flipping through your pictures? You don't? Okay, I'm just weird like that. I recently got a new phone, and I decided to pull all the pictures from my sim card (I don't even know if that's how you spell "sim"), and put them on my computer, just so I would have them, you know, just in case. I was browsing through the folder today, and thought I'd share a few of my favorites. If money didn't matter, where would your perfect vacation take place? Briefly describe. I know most people would choose some exotic, different country location. But for me, something I would absolutely love is to spend about 3 weeks back East. I would go to New York, and of course visit all the fun NYC sites, and the shopping, and the shows. But then I would visit upstate. There are many significant LDS church historical sites, as that is where Joseph Smith was living when he organized the church. I would love to stand in those sacred places. As well as the church historical sites, I would go to Boston.
