Every leaf is a flower...

I have another clean and simple card for you this afternoon for this week's Riley challenge. Laurie has asked us to include leaves on our project.

I've used Raking Leaves Riley who was just perfect for this challenge! The sentiment is from MFT's Inspired by Autumn set and will be released this month, I've also used the Woodgrain Fence and Branch and Leaves Die-namics to create a little scene. The paper is Basic Grey from my scrap box!

Be sure to link up your Riley creation on the blog, and visit the other moose-mates (links on sidebar) to see their creations!

It's time to hop with Riley + Blog Candy!

Yay - the new Riley stamps are available here now! I have two cards for you today so I'm going to keep chatter to a minimum and will write up the supplies I used at the end of this post.

Of course there are a couple of specials for this release:
  • FREE US SHIPPING on any new orders until Sunday night! (Use coupon code FREESHIP)
  • All orders placed within the first 24 hours will receive a FREE NEVER RELEASED limited edition - Witch with Broom for Halloween!!
  • Purchase the entire set - get 10% off!

My first card uses Popcorn Riley - and yup, it's another sqaure card! This is a big one at 5"x5".

I stamped the image again on the inside, this time in red.

For my second card I went a little clean and simple....

My second card uses Marilyn Mooseroe - she was my suggestion for the movie release and turned out so cute!

I've used a sentiment from the Circus Words set - how perfect is that?!

Here's a peek at the stamping on the clean and simple inside - another circus sentiment that worked perfectly!

It's time for you to head over to see the lovely Frances, but before you go, make sure to leave a comment, you have 24 hours to get yourself in the draw for some Riley rubber of your very own!

 Thanks for stopping by!

Uh-Oh!

Hi there! It's time for my last teaser before the new Riley release. All the stamps you've seen will be available on the 29th at 10pm EST.

This might be my favourite card I created for this release, this stamp is just too cute! It's Riley as King Kong!

I used a cloud paper from the My Mind's Eye - Away We Go pack. Moose Kong was coloured softly with Copics then cut with square nesties and layered on a lacey square nestie. I added some River Rock ribbon and the sentiment was stamped twice - it's from the Circus Sentiments set.

Inside I shadow stamped the image in Pewter Distress Ink and used another sentiment from the Circus Sentiments set.

Be sure to drop by all the other mooose-mates today and we'll see you tomorrow for the blog hop!

Hey Sexy!

We're halfway through the Riley teasers for this release....and today I have a cheeky little card for you!

I've been on a real square card making kick lately, this one is 4" x 4" - I love this size because I can hang something off the top edge and still make it fit in a regular envelope.

This is Catmoose, with that leather suit she's lots of fun to colour! I added a banner and sentiment with alphabet stamps and kept the card simple with just a polka dot print from the Cosmo Cricket Odds and Ends pack.

I'll have another teaser for you tomorrow, then we'll be hopping and giving away blog candy for the big release!

Mooseman!

It's day three of Riley sneak peeks and today I'm sharing a card I made for Shanan. For his birthday this year his sister gave him a canvas with a photo of him as a kid wearing a batman suit - so this Batmoose stamp was perfect!

You'll notice Batmoose is in grey and blue - when I questioned Shan about the colours of the costume he wore, I was informed these are the real batman colours!

Riley was coloured with Copics and cut with circle nesties. The sentiment is from MFT - I thought it worked perfectly with this stamp. The papers are from My Mind's Eye - Market Street and the card base is Night of Navy from SU!

All the moose-mates will have eye candy for you today:

Boo!

For today's Riley sneak peek I'm going a little on the scary side - showcasing Sophie as Bridezilla. Ok, so she's not too scary!

I wanted to create a nice clean tag with some pops of colour to add to a little bag full of candy.

Sophie is coloured with Copics and I added some tiara stickles to the highlight in her hair. The glittered paper is from the Hippie Chic stack by DCWV and the sentiment was in last month's VIP kit at MFT. The ribbon is an orchid roll I have from years ago at SU!

Riley is going to the movies!

It's Riley release time again, and this month he's going to the movies! You'll see lots of your favourite iconic movie characters in this release  - all in moose form of course!

When I saw Riley Pottermoose I knew it would make a perfect corner bookmark. You can find the instructions to make one here. I cut the edge with the notebook edge die-namic from MFT and the papers are from the Oxford Pack by Basic Grey.

I coloured Riley with Copics and fussy cut him before popping him up on foam boosters.

All the moose-mates will have wonderful samples for you to hop around and enjoy today!

Shabby Riley + Copic Colour Key

It's time for another Riley challenge! Heather has challenged us to create a shabby chic card with at least seven layers. I've been promising to tell you the Riley colours I use, so read on for the next installment in my Copic Colour Key series.

I love this Good Luck Riley image, it's one of my faves. Riley was coloured with copics then fussy cut. I added lots of embellishments, rolled flowers, stickles, a stick pin and some seam binding ribbon.

Please feel free to save this image to your computer and use it as a reference.

Inside my card I have used some off cuts of the patterned paper and shadow stamped my image again.

Please visit the rest of the moose-mates (links on the sidebar) and see their gorgeous creations!

Summer Fun

Oh how I can't wait for summer! But for now, I'll have to content myself with the new Riley challenge - fun in the sun! Create a summer theme/fun in the sun based project.

I've paired Hammock Riley with some fun Fancy Pants Beach Babe paper. I used the catch a wave die from MFT to create the waves and some old school Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon for my bow. I used my fave kraft cardstock for the base.

Head on over to the Riley blog to link up your creation and see a list of designers playing along today!

R is for Riley

Welcome back to Riley sneak peeks! Today the moose-mates are bringing you sneaks and a challenge. It's my turn to hostess, and we're having a R is for Riley challenge. Simply use Riley, Red, Ribbon and Rhinestones on your creation!

I've used this Route 66 Riley, and because nothing is more American than Route 66, I went with a red, white and blue colour scheme. The papers are from Jillibean Soup and October Afternoon's 5 & Dime collection. The stars are a die-namic from MFT.

Don't forget to stop by the Riley blog to link up your card for the challenge and see what the other moose-mates have come up with!

Hang Gliding Riley

Riley continues his vacation today and I'm using Hang Gliding Riley along with some bright papers and clouds to create a clean and simple scene.

I coloured the image with Copics before adding polka-dot detail with the colorless blender pen. I have paired the image with scraps from the Lime Tart collection by MME. The die-namic is from MFT.

We're midway through Riley sneak peeks - don't forget to visit the rest of the design team (links in my sidebar) and our Guest Designer Stephanie Hill to see what they've created!

Zipppppp!

The moose-mates are back today with another new release Riley. You won't want to miss the blog hop on the 28th when you'll have a chance to win your own Riley stamp.  I thought this zip-lining guy was so cute!

I've used some papers from the Lime Tart collection by MME. The sentiment is from the Circus Words set - technically I guess he's zipping by, but it still works! See you tomorrow with another Riley sneak peek - till then, be sure to visit the other moose-mates (links in my sidebar) and our Guest Designer Stephanie Hill.
