I've used the adorable Sniffles and Snuggles stamp set today!

I stamped the image on kraft cardstock, outlined a circular portion and colored with Prismacolor Pencils. I cut a reverse spotlight from vellum, stitching it onto the panel. I love this effect! The sentiment was curved before stamping.

Get Well!

 

Hi there! I'm popping in with a card today for both the Catered Crop Good Medicine Recipe Swap and the Paper Smooches Picture Perfect challenge.

I definitely have cause to make a Get Well card - both my guys are under the weather this weekend, so I'm playing nurse! The Paper Smooches inspiration was this cool photo...

The outline flowers on the aqua bottle made me think of the gorgeous Blossoming Buds stamp set!

I stamped the large floral cluster from Blossoming Buds in Memento Gray Flannel and coloured with copics. I added some shimmer and shine with a clear Wink of Stella pen and some stickles. I've used the Retro Arrow die for the background, and added in the hello die cut from the Hello Word Dies. The paper is the excellent Burlap and Bouquets pad (on sale now!) The sentiment was stamped in Memento Luxe Teal Zeal. I finished with a few enamel dots. You can check out what's new at i {heart} papers right here!

August Diva Inspirations Hop - Sequined Stunner!

Welcome to Verve's August Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's time for the Divas to serve up some fresh inspiration with their Verve stamps! Our August challenge is Sequined Stunner:

Sequins are the perfect embellishment - sparkly, affordable and with lots of texture. Add some sequins to your project this month to make it a sequined stunner! Feel free to use the graphic as inspiration or not.

I was really inspired by the graphic this month - all that white with a pop of reddish pink and sparkle - yum! I've used two stamp sets, Wishing You and the beautiful butterfly from Each Day. I kept it very simple with a paper doily and a big smattering of Shine Bright Sequins.

I fussy cut another butterfly for the inside of the card, leaving lots of room for a special message.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Sneaks - Hello Sunshine

It's day two of Sweet Sneaks at the upcoming May release from SugarPea Designs! Today the team are giving you a look at Hello, Sunshine. This sweetie is just the perfect pick-me-up for any friend!

I've colored with copics, giving her little froggy friend a glossy accents puddle to jump in (she comes with other little buddies as well!) and dotting the umbrella with glaze pen.
