These pics aren't in any particular order. But, here goes! We Love the 4th!! It's one of my favorite holidays! I just love the tradition of it all. I remember it exactly this way when I was a kid...okay, some things are different, but not too much. The night before water fight is always fun. Pretty much the whole town is involved. We were with Rocki, Shannon, Ben, Sarah, Randon and Christina this year. All together we had about 6000 water balloons. We even had some left over surprisingly. The water fight gets a little brutal...haha. It's definitely an adult water fight. But, Alley and Ashlyn get pretty into it too. We usually drive around in the back of a truck and some of the balloons come at you pretty hard. I got doused with some freezing cold buckets of water too. Last year it was flour/wheat/sawdust mixture. So, it wasn't that bad this year!! :) I got a few good welts and wacked pretty good in the face a couple times. It's brutal but so fun too!
The morning of the 4th we went to Bunkerville for breakfast, program and races. The kids always look forward to the races and usually practice up. They did good. Adler runs really fast, but did a nice jog in the race...haha. Alley and Ammon took 2nd in their races. Ashlyn did good too, not sure what place. It's just fun! The girls did the egg toss and went pretty far. Later on we went swimming at the Rec Center and had a BBQ at Randy's, then set off some fireworks and went to the ballfield with Nat and kids to watch the big fireworks. Fun times!! Another successful 4th! I Love Bunkerville and I love the 4th! Let Freedom ring! :)
