Happy Father's Day dad! It is so fun to look back at all of the things we did as a family! I am sure I loved each and every minute of each event, but these memories are even more important to me now that I have my own family. Now I really know how hard it is to get everyone to go camping - and to pack for them and feed them! It seems like the things I just really took for granted in my childhood are some of my most precious memories now! I love you so much! Thank you for being such a wonderful father to me, and for helping me set the bar high for family time!
Gramps trying to make his fish look bigger than mine! Dad took us out fishing and is now the man behind the camera!
Cooper - WOW - what an amazing kid! He loves being a big brother. Cooper really enjoys technology and learning new things. He recently broke his hand, but we didn't know it until AFTER we had gone 4-wheeling at the dunes for the weekend!
Mattie Gayle
Most easily put, Mattie is hell on wheels. She is a busy body and enjoys being demanding. It is almost as if she thinks she is the only child in the family. Mattie wants to go everywhere and do everything. Her new favorites include shooting guns and she loves anything messy - from food, to blood, seriously anything that looks gross!
Sidney Elaine
Sidney is now about 20 months old and has a mouth full of teeth. She loves attention and seems like she may be a contender for the title of 'hell of wheels.' The kid keeps us laughing and running all day long!
Wonderful Advice
"All of us have problems. We face them every day.How grateful I am that we have difficult things to wrestle with. They keep us young...if that is possible. They keep us alive. They keep us going. They keep us humble. They pull us down to our knees to ask the God of Heaven for help in solving them. Be grateful for your problems, and know that somehow there will come a solution." --Gordon B. Hinckley
"Find joy in your children. Don't overschedule them or yourself. You may not be able to take them on exotic vacations. It doesn't matter. When the day dawns bright and sunny, take an excursion to the canyon or the park. When it's cloudy and wet, read a book together or make something good to eat. Give them time to explore and learn about the feel of grass, and the wiggliness of worms." --Marjorie Hinckley
