Now it's Ammon's turn... he's been TAGGED!

We can't leave anybody out I guess now can we.......

Now, let's see.... our sweet boy Ammon....

1. We are so excited to have a boy... he's so sweet, and so fun... if he was gonna be a girl, Artie said we were gonna be done! I don't think he could handle any more girls... haha, so he's pretty happy he got his BOY! He wouldn't even let me have a choice in the name.

2. Ammon was my smallest baby.. even though he was still pretty big, weighing 8 lbs, 4 oz. He was the smallest, but he was the hardest labor, because... I don't know what happened to the epidural.... I could FEEL IT! YIKES! But, the best recovery ever! He's also my only winter baby and the only one that had Jaundice.

3. Ammon has a pelvic Kidney. That means one of his kidneys is not in the right place, it's down close to the pelvis. So, everytime he has the slightest fever or anything he has to be checked. He has to get an ultrasound every 6 months so far to see what's going on with the kidneys and see if there is any blockage in the urinary tract. It's likely that everything will be fine and it's something that just has to be watched throughout his life... careful in contact sports, etc. or there is also a bigger chance of infection and blockage because the kidney is in the wrong place. We gotta take care of those kidneys... we don't want them to have to work harder than they have to... we are gonna try to not get him hooked to sugar, pop, etc. like the girls... :) The kidneys have to process all that! I'm learning more as we go! Right now we are battling everybody trying to feed him stuff... why does everybody wanna give him Sugar???? Anyway... enough about that!

4. Ammon is the best baby! He's so happy most of the time. Pretty easy to take care of. Loves to talk and smile and will laugh if somebody else is laughing!

5. Ammon is starting to grab everything and be a little more independent playing on the floor by himself for a while. He'll play with toys and roll around.

6. He loves to be outside... He'll be happy outside for hours, watching the trees, watching the girls play and watching them ride around and around the house in their car! He also loves his jumperoo. So, if I stick him in that and put him outside, he plays forever!

7. Ammons a great baby, but not the best sleeper. He takes a lot of 30 minute naps. He also loves to cuddle to sleep, which makes it hard. But, sometimes it's nice cause he's so snuggly, he's my little SnuggleBug!

8. Ammon and I are both addicted to Babywearing. He's so cuddly and loves to be held especially when he's tired, so sometimes it's hard to get stuff done. So, I'll wrap him on me and we'll be good to go. Sometimes he'll just cry until I put him in it. It's great when going shopping or vaccuming and things. I love it so much I added it to my business and I've been making some super fun patterns and stuff and it's named after my sweet Ammon.... So, you'll be hearing more about the SnuggleBug Wrap!
We Love you so much Ammon.... it's so fun having a baby boy after having 2 girls. I love watching you grow and learn new things each day. You are growing way too fast and I want to cherish each little moment with you. We are so thankful you are as healthy as can be and are a part of our family!
**Who else is there left to tag??? This tagging is a lot of work, but it'll be great to look back on all this about our kids. If you haven't been tagged and want to, then do it!

Now Ashlyn has been TAGGED!

wow.... looking at these pictures makes me sad... she's getting so big! And yes, she had some wild hair like Ammon too. Atleast I could put a bow in it! :) Ashlyn will be 3 in July. I can't believe it. She'll get to go to Preschool next year. She's excited because she always wants to be big and do things that Alley get's to do. Everytime I take Alley to Preschool, Ashlyn has to find her backpack too. We can't leave the house until she has her backpack on. And if we can't find it.... oh no... we aren't leavin' until we do!

Ashlyn loves being naked.., I can't keep clothes on her. Let's hope she grows out of that. :) And when she goes to the bathroom she thinks she has to take all her clothes off to go.

She talks like a big person. Her new word these days is "Actually." She says it ALL the time. "Well, acutally mom... I wanted this".... "Actually Alley, let's do that." It's kinda funny from a 2 year old.

Ashlyn loves to play in water. If I hear water running I know Ashlyn is in it. She's always in the kitchen sink or bathroom sink playing or washing something in the water. Then she gets soakin' wet and that gives her an excuse to take her clothes off :)

Every night she falls asleep on the couch and get's carried to bed. In the morning she'll never be in her bed, she's either on the couch in the front room or in the chair in our room. She never bothers anybody, she'll just get out of bed and go somewhere else. Sometimes in the middle of the night we hear doors slamming and stuff and it's just Ashlyn going in and out of rooms.

Ashlyn is our little tough girl, she loves spiderman and other shows that Alley gets scared at. She doesn't get scared, she loves them and begs to watch them. She get's a scary voice and get's her fists out and tells Alley she's the "black spiderman." She's our little sporty, tough girl, but then she also is very girly... she's always putting different pretty's in her hair and always wants her nails and toe nails painted. If her nail polish comes off she always tells me I gotta do it again!

Ashlyn was a very hard baby. She had Acid Reflux and was always in pain. It was not fun!! After that I never thought I'd have another one. She had to be on medicine from 1 month old and on, but by the time she was about 9 months old she had grown out of it. Yeah!

Ashlyn always get's compliments on her hair color. It's a very pretty Strawberry blonde color and I love it. When she was born we didn't know if it was a boy or girl. I really thought it was a boy and was expecting a boy and when she was born and they said it's a girl... I was SO shocked and so was Artie! Then I remember the nurses saying she has red hair and I was thinking ... "oh great!" A wild red head! She is wild... and so sweet too!

We love our little munchkin Ashlyn. She's our little runt and a ball of fire! I can't imagine life without her. It's hard to remember what it was like before her! Love you Ash!

***We tagged quite a few before... this time we tag Shane Zarate, Conner Zarate, Ryzer Monson, Maclyn Innis & Mason Montoya!

Alley has been TAGGED!

Alley Has been tagged by someone else and now I get to say 8 things about her........

1. I can't believe that my little girl is almost 5 and will start Kindergarten this next school year. She loves preschool and always tells everybody on her next birthday she'll turn 5 and get to go to the big school!

2. Alley's nickname is Turtle. She is supersmart and everything.. but when you want her to do something and if we are in a hurry, she moves like a turtle. While she is walking she'll just be looking at things around her, looking at the scenery, observing everything but what she should be doing.... la dee da, la dee da.....she moves like a turtle when you want her to be quick!! So, she's our TURTLE!

3. Alley Loves the color pink! Whenever I get her a cup, a bowl, a shirt... anything, it HAS to be Pink! :) She's a typical girl I guess!

4. Alley is so easy at bed time. She loves her princess bed. When she's tired, she'll let you know and she'll say "Okay mom, I'm ready for bed!"

5. Alley likes to help me make things, she likes to make necklaces, pretend she's making candles, helps me mix the lotions, helps me with dinner. She's like... "I'm busy mom, I'm workin'."

6. Alley loves books, she'll stay busy reading books for a while, looking at the pictures, making up her own stories... she'll have me read them to her and then she'll remember them pretty well and then she thinks she can read the words, when actually she just memorized what I said! She also loves to sing, ride her bike and car outside, play computer games, do gymnastics, play sports... and loves going to the movies!

7. Alley is very sensitive... if she does something wrong and we start talking to her, most of the time she'll try not to cry and say, "I'm so sorry... I'll try to remember not to do that, I promise." She also worries about others and tries to make sure they are okay. Her friend left his baseball mit at our house and she noticed and wanted to take it to them right away, they weren't home so we left it on the door step... she was so worried that it wouldn't be safe on the door step, she wouldn't leave, she kept knocking and knocking and then FINALLY let me take her home and immediately wanted to call to see if they were home so she could tell them we left his mit. If someone else gets hurt, she runs over to them and talks to them like a little mommy to make sure they are okay!

8. Alley wishes she could blow bubbles with bubble gum and whistle! She says she's gonna practice everyday!

One more thing...She has a little bit of OCD, or something :) She has to stack things just right, has to have things in order, in the right place... etc. A little hard to explain but was really bad when she was younger, she's getting better with some things as she get's older!

We love you so much Alley! She always says, "Mom we'll be best friends forever!" I hope that's true!!

***Now we tag... Brooklin Montoya, Brookelyn Johnson, Hayli Hughes, Emilie Gilberg, Javen Laub, Jaxon (Laub), Gabby Potter, Decker Lee, Kyler Monson and anybody else who wants to do it!

The Kids Lately....

Ammon (tANk) is already 4 months old, actually almost 5 months.... He just got his 4 month shots... ouch... and he now weighs 16 lbs 10 oz... Can you guess why his nickname is Tank??? HAHA.. (Uncle Shannon gave him that name...) Anyway, He is such a sweet baby boy... He loves to babble and squeal and blow bubbles lately. Some of his favorite things to do is JuMp in his JuMpErOo, Splish Splash in the bath with his legs and he just started rolling over from his back to his belly. Right when I lay him down... it takes him about a second and he's soon on his belly. You gotta be quick when changing his diaper and stuff. He get's mad because after being on his belly for a while he still can't figure out how to get back onto his back... I'm sure he'll soon figure it out. We love our sweet Ammon and hope he stays this sweet! He's such a happy boy and makes everyday so fun!

Ashlyn (Ash or munchkin)... (they all have their little nick names :)) Anyway, She's so shy if she doesn't know somebody, but at home she is a little wild girl. She loves to sing and dance and sometimes is singing and dancing all through out the house. She's a very loving girl and always wants to be cuddled and loved. No matter what she's doing everyday, she'll make it a point to come where I am and say "Hi, mom... I love you." Then, that's it and she's back off to play. She does this about 10 times a day...it doesn't ever get tiring. She's so cute and it's sweet! She's our little sportster girly girl and has been practicing up for Baseball... too bad she still has a couple years until she can play t-ball :(

Alley..(TuRtLe)....She's so smart and is so ready for Kindergarten... she has Kindergarten round-up in a couple weeks. This month in Preschool she was the Star of the month... she got to do special helping things at school and she brought home a doll that we had to make to look like her. This girl seems accident prone, Broken collar bone at 2 years old, always falling and tripping, biting her tougue or her finger while eating... hahah, it's kinda funny! She fell a while ago and now has a dead tooth and it's turning brown... Yuck! No pictures for you girly! Anyway, Alley loves to sing, draw, talks waaaayy too much and is miss 20 questions... haha, she's too funny and lately she thinks I'm wrong about everything I try to tell her... she's like, " Mom, I'm right and your wrong!" Great.... where could she have got that from... let's think.... hmmm...DADDY! :) She had to fill out this questionaire for school...I asked her the questions and here is what she said....

My favorite color is: Pink and Red
My favorite food is: Chicken nuggets
My favorite book is: “What will I do if I can’t tie my shoe." (Daddy said she has to learn to tie her shoes before she goes to Kindergarten, she's a little worried, so I got her this book, I guess it's her favorite :))
My brothers and sisters names are: Ashlyn & Ammon
My favorite place to go is: the park
I wish I could: go to Disneyland & Disneyworld
When I grow up I want to be: a mom
I like preschool because: I love to see my friends

Little Hands... Little Feet...

Am I CuTe or WhAt???

Well, Ashlyn is being shy lately with the camera!! So, I could not get her to look at me and smile. But, she got a cute haircut. Andrea cut about 5 inches probably. I was a little nervous at first about chopping her long hair, but I think she looks adorable and it fits her little personality!

ScRuB a DUB DUB

So, last week we went to my brothers house in St. George... (Santa Clara to be exact). We had a BBQ and the kids had a blast playing with cousins. They have so much fun there because they have a big back yard with nice grass (unlike ours : ), an in-ground trampoline and the cutest playhouse that looks just like a real house with an upstairs and everything! I love it.... it's so dang cute... and I want one! :) Anyway, we stayed there extra late waiting for Artie to finish playing softball.. (he goes up on thursdays to St. George to play). And he had late games... so we were there until about 10 pm. So, the girls got to take a bubble bath in Uncle Walter and Aunt Brittnee's Jacuzzi tub. It has a TV up above too.. so they just relaxed and watched a movie while in the tub. Alley was loving it, she kicked her feet up and was enjoying the jets on her back... hahah, she was so funny all relaxing. Anyway, thanks Uncle Walter and Aunt Brittnee for a fun time! Then, on Friday we took the kids to see "Horton Hears a Who." It was pretty cute and it was Ammons first movie... he was super good!
Other than that we've just been keeping busy. Today the kids have been driving me crazy and getting in trouble. Ashlyn loves to draw on everything..... aaaarrrgghh! And Alley thinks her shirt is a kleenex and she thinks Ammon likes it when she sticks her finger in his mouth..... and so anyway, they were getting in trouble a lot this morning and Alley says "mom, you don't have very good kids." hahaha....... what do I say to that....?! She's hilarious with the things she says these days! I can't ever remember them all because there are so many things everyday that she comes up with.
