Shadow Shot Sunday

Lately, if it hasn't been way too cold to
walk over the Brooklyn Bridge in the morning,
then it's been pouring down rain.  Finally,
this past Wednesday I deemed it both warm
enough (high 30s) and dry enough.  I turned around
to get this shot of the sun rising over Brooklyn and the
bridge totally fogged in.  Eerily beautiful, isn't it?

Thursday Challenge—landscape

Back to my friends' new home in Virginia.
On Tuesday I showed you the view from
their back patio.  Well here's the view from the
front door, taken very early—here, as in Camelot,
by 8 the morning fog must disappear.
