Giggle Comics 57 and 59

Here are a couple pieces from funny animal comics. We begin with this one by Ken Hultgren. This is from American Comics Group's Giggle Comics #57 in September 1948.
I didn't use the Spencer Spook story from that same issue. I did my usual hemming and hawing about whether I should posts old comics where characters appear in blackface, so here's this one instead, from Giggle Comics #59 two months later. The artist is Jack Bradbury.

The cover looks like it's done by Dan Gordon.
As does this house ad on the inside back cover.
This story is by Jack Bradbury. You can usually tell his work by the crooked lines in the panel borders.
Hubie Karp and Al Hubbard, two veterans of the animation world.
