Espresso Yourself | Vânia Fonseca

Hello crafty friends!
Vânia here and today i´m sharing a 12x12 page that i made using the Espresso Yourself cut file from The Cut Shoppe.

I love coffe, and i couldn´t start my day without my expresso. So i made this layout to document my love for this small cup of coffee.

I´m using a couple of different Maggie Holmes collections some bits and pieces from Heritage and some from Willow Lane.

I´ve start by cutting the file using white cardstock, then chose different patterned papers to back the cut file. I put my photo inside the letter O and create a little embellishment cluster around it.

Also grab a couple of different stamp sets from my stash, coffe themed, and stamped a couple of phrases and fake coffee splatters in some of the letters.

To Finish the page i add a couple of stickers and some ink splatters to my page.
Thank you so much for passing by, see you soon!

Squared Away | Vânia Fonseca

Hello crafty friends! Vânia here, today i´m sharing a page of my ring bound Travler´s Notebook made using the Squared Away cut file and the Eat Beat digital stamp, as always you can find this products on The Cut Shoppe.

I´ve started by creating the layout of the right side of my page using Photoshop and the digital stamps. Then print it with my home printer.

To decorate the pages i use some bits and pieces from an old Dear Lizzy collection, named Saturday.

On the left side i chose to use the Squared Away cut file, resizing and adapting the file to the format that i need. I then backed the file using some different patterned papers that match the color scheme of my page.

And that´s all for today! Thank you for passing by!

Falling Leaves | Erica Thompson

Fall is here and I am so excited for my favorite time of the year! I was so excited to see all the new fall cut files from The Cut Shoppe and the Autumn Leaves file is my favorite!
I pulled out the new Paige Evans Truly Grateful collection that I picked up from A Cherry on Top and began to back the cut file with 6x8 papers. The cut file was cut on some white textured cardstock. This did take some time to back but totally worth it! Once it was fully backed I added foam adhesive to the back and adhered to a white piece of cardstock that I had splattered with gold color shine.
The photo is of our sweet girl Lola Bean! I just love her sweet face and she has her chunky scarf on! You can see the pretty fall leaves on the ground and they match her beautiful color! I added stickers on each side of my photo and an epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio that matches the collection perfectly!

We just love this sweet soul so very much! The sweetest most lovable pup we have ever known. Her favorite things are cuddling, sleeping and more sleeping! Everyone loves her and she love everyone...except frogs and plastic bags! She really is afraid of those two things! haha! Here is a look at my completed layout using the Autumn Leaves cut file! I hope you pick this one up along with some of the other fall files in the shop!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

First Day of School | Erica Thompson

Hey everyone! Erica here with you today to bring you a back to school layout featuring the Too Cool For School cut file! This was a Freebie Friyay cut file from a few weeks ago and I could not wait to get it on a layout!
I pulled out some of the Doodlebug Design School Days collection because I thought it would be perfect with this cut file. I used the 6x6 paper pad to back the cut file and I used some Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive to adhere the paper. This has been my go to adhesive the last few months. I love the primary colors in this collection and I had fun backing the fun images that are also in the different letters in the cut file.
I am documenting 4 photos of Eli James first day of school and his super cool Avengers backpack! He was so proud of it and the blue on the bag matches the blue in the collection! Perfect!
Make sure to check out all the awesome Freebie files in the shop along with the newest release! Here is a look at my completed layout and you can check out my process video HERE on YouTube or catch it down below!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Summer | Erica Thompson

Did you see the Freebie Friyay cut file that was released yesterday? Well here is a look at it and you are going to want to head on over and download it today!
Super cute right? I cut this out as soon as Ashley posted it for design team members and began to create with it. I backed it with a lot of the papers from the Bella Blvd Splash Zone collection.
This cut file is perfect for all your summer photos! You can download it free HERE in The Cut Shoppe. Once my cut file was backed I decided to add some mists to my white background. I pulled different colored mists from my stash that matched my backed cut file. I sprayed the mists directly on my paper and blotted up with a napkin. I also added a couple splatters around the page. I just pulled the spray nozzle out of the bottle and flicked it all over the page.
I used die cuts from the Splash Zone collection to embellish my layout and an epoxy flair from Scappin Happy Studio. Here is a look at my completed layout using the Beach Vacation Freebie Friyay cut file. I hope it inspires you to create something colorful and fun! Make sure to join us over in The Cut Shoppe Scrap Spot on Facebook if you are not already there! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Just Beachy | Erica Thompson

I am so happy the sun is finally shining in Illinois. Time for a lot of swimming and having fun this summer. The Just Beachy cut file is perfect for your summer photos and today I want to share my latest layout with you! I am using the I Love Summer collection from Echo Park and it is is just adorable. I thought it was the perfect collection to use with this fun cut file.

I backed the letters on the banner with papers from the 6x6 I Love Summer paper pad. I used some inks from Catherine Pooler Designs to add a splash of color to my background.

The photos I am documenting are of my daughter and her best friend Emma. They spent the day swimming and getting some sun. I love this silly photos of the two of them. They are more like sisters!

I embellished around the layout using the I Love Summer chipboard and brads. I also pulled out a couple new epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio.

Here is a look at my completed layout using the Just Beachy cut file!

Now head on over to the shop and grab this cut file! It is going to be perfect for your summer projects!

Sun Shiny Day | Erica Thompson

Do you have a favorite summer collection? Well I think the new Simple Stories Sunshine & Blue Skies is my new favorite summer collection. The colors are gorgeous and I thought this collection was the perfect match with the Sun Shiny Day cut file.
I cut the file out on some white cardstock and used white as my background. I pulled out some ink colors from Cathereine Pooler Designs that I think are a perfect match. Samba, Coral Cabana, Limoncello, Suede Shoes, Mardi Gras. I used these colors to create splatters all over my background matching the colors with the backed cut file.

I love all the color peeking out behind the file and it reminds me of colorful confetti. All I did was take the ink pad and press it to an acrylic block. I used my water bottle to spray some water onto the block and mixed it together with a small paint brush. Then I just flicked the color onto the water cardstock.

I popped the cut file up with some foam adhesive for dimension and tucked in some of the Sunshine & Blue Skies die cut flowers around the cut file. I also added an epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio. Here is a look at my completed layout!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my layout. If you haven't got your hands on this cut file yet you really need to! You can find it HERE in The Cut Shoppe

Happy | Erica Thompson

Happy Friday everyone! Erica with you today to bring you a colorful layout using the Happy Days cut file!
I knew I wanted a lot of color so I pulled out the new Simple Stories Oh Happy Day collection. I used a lot of different pattern papers from the collection to back the file and I love how it turned out. This file was pretty simple to back. I adjusted the size down a little bit to fit my layout the way I wanted.

This collection has my favorite colors in it and is just so fun and cheerful! If you haven't really had a look at the whole collection take a minute to do so! The photo I am documenting is from a crop I held in February. We had so much fun and I had a little photo backdrop set up! My good friend Jami and I took some silly selfies and I knew they had to be scrapped! I printed the photo off in black and white so the colors in the photo did not clash with the pattern papers.

I popped up the cut file with some foam adhesive and then added embellishments around the cut file. I did not add any layers behind my photo for this layout but did do an embellishment cluster off to one side.
I pulled out this heart epoxy from Happy Scrappin Studio. I thought it was perfect with this layout and I just love adding punches of black!  Here is a look at my completed layout.
