idea for contest

hmm...terasa macam nak buat contest lah. macam dah lama rasa tak blogwalking tengok gambar yang chantek chantek. tapi...saya takde idea nak buat contest apa la plak. black and white photography dah buat. takmo buat yang sama. ke lomo shot photography lak since now ramai orang suka snap gambar feeling-feeling lomo?

anyway, ada sesiapa nak bagi idea what kind of contest yang patut saya buat? anyone?

well, hello hello. how was your CNY holiday dear ones? cewah. i hope you had fun as much as i do. ok ok i know i drives you guys crazeeee for making you guys wait such a looonnnngg time to find out the winners of the contest and i'm terribly sorry for that. maaf sangat-sangat. like i said, i was extremely busy with work (and so caught up that i can't hardly breathe! gambar lain dari my camera yang diupload pun bukan semua dek non sikit je pun. jadi janganlah salah sangka i saja lambat-lambatkan sebab traffik oh sungguh lame tuduhan itu eh eh tak baik tak baik hehe!) but i thanked you for being patience and understanding. i am so grateful for that. love you guys =)

yessssss!!! finally dah habis collect all nominated photos for Black & White Photography Contest. selepas ditambah tolak bahagi darab dikuasa dua dikamirkan semua...hanya 650 penyertaan yang layak untuk diadili oleh para hakim.

para hakim akan memilih 5 penyertaan untuk ke peringkat akhir. selepas itu saya dan para hakim akan memerah otak (over pula ;p) untuk memilih 3 pemenang sahaja. ye, 3 pemenang sahaja.

what?! another contest?! gila ke budak ni contest before ni pun tak habis review lagi dah nak buat satu lagi contest? kahkahkah...oh mestilah tidak. amboi banyak nye duit saya nak bagi hadiah. kehkeh! anyway, contest ni bukanlah dianjurkan oleh saya.

i received an email from a blogger saying that she's organizing a photo contest on her blog and would like me to promote the contest. oleh sebab saya sukakan photography jadi apa salahnya kan membantu mereka yang meminati photography juga. a friend in need is the friend indeed eh eh tiada kena mengena pun saja nak sebut. haha.


anyway, the title of the contest is...

ye, red hot photography contest. dah namanya pun red kan jadi mestilah tema dia merah makngah. tapi bukan sebarang gambar tanglung ke apa ek, mestilah gambar u ada sekali gak kan. kalau boleh the redder the better. ceh suka hati je i cakap camtu noks. macamlah saya jadi judge. kehkeh! terbuka kepada semua tiada limit whatsoever. p

kenapa lambat announce

kepada semua yang mengikuti contest black and white photo,

saya minta maaf sangat sebab terpaksa mengambil masa yang agak lama untuk menilai gambar anda semua. saya juga agak sibuk sedikit buat masa ini dengan kerja di pejabat dan juga kerja sebagai part-time photographer. gambar-gambar majlis pertunangan klien (ceh, klien inda muni ;p) saya yang berlangsung bulan lepas pun tak habis lagi diedit. i'm doing multiple tasks here.

(baru edit sikit-sikit je. maaf juga kepada muni sebab terpaksa menunggu lama sebelum semua gambar siap untuk diberi pada anda. still kawan dengan ezzan lagi kan? kehkeh! :p)

saya amat harapkan pemahaman dari pihak anda semua ya. saya tahu anda semua tidak sabar untuk mengetahui pemenangnya. jangan risau, saya akan umumkan pemenang sebaik sahaja pihak pengadil memilih gambar tersebut yuk.

and another thing kan, sesiapa yang disable kan right click AND tak allowed gambar tu di click, IT IS HARD for me to collect your photos. bila tak collect tak masuklah senarai pencalonan sebabnya semua gambar-gambar itu akan direview oleh the selected judges yang i'm pretty sure mereka TIDAK AKAN buka link anda satu-satu. that's why i akan kumpulkan semua gambar dalam 1 folder and pass it to them. so if i can't save your photos, then they won't be able to see lah.

i hope you guys understand ye sebabnya sekarang ni baru 300 i collect and there is a looooonnng way to go. please ye people :)

It's Over

HELL YEAH. after a looooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggg list of participations from the bloggers who took part in the contest, i now announce that the Black And White Photography Contest is officially OVER!! (terasa macam nak buat mexican wave. kuikui!)

Thank you so much guys for supporting this contest although at first macam rasa tak confident je ada orang interested nak join. You guys proved me wrong so give yourself a big hug. cewah. Million appologies for not leaving some comments on your photos but trust me, I have checked each and every single of one of you (yang drop me the link kat comment lah bukan kat shout box. huhu!)

Starting tomorrow i will visit again all your blogs and kumpulkan semua gambar before i pass it to the judges. For your information, i will be a bit strict ye untuk selection process (disebabkan terlalu ramai) especially kalau logo tiada, tajuk contest lain daripada syarat yang ditetapkan ke saya akan reject awal-awal.

Anyway, the result will be announce next year, after new year InsyaAllah. lama sikit because i'll be away for a holiday in Penang sampai lah the 30th. hehe.

anda tidak perlulah khuatir sekiranya anda rasa seperti 'tak reti lah ambil gambar cantik-cantik, i bukan pro, i suka-suka saja ni ambil gambar' because it truly doesn't matter. lagipun contest ni bukanlah untuk mencari Malaysia's Next Top Photographer uols. sekadar suka-suka. sekiranya anda fikirkan akan dapat sebuah DSLR kalau menang, anda memang salah tempat. haha. saya pun tiada DSLR inikan pula nak hadiahkan orang satu. hehe. hadiah pun tiadalah sespecial and segempak mana sangat. tapi still RAHSIA. let me rephase again 'SEKADAR SUKA-SUKA' tau contest ni jadi hadiah pun suka-suka lah...hikhik!

so, syarat-syaratnya adalah...

- nak clarifykan something...sebenarnya nak gambar ramai-ramai tu bukan tak boleh, boleh aja dong CUMA pastikan ANDA adalah subjek utama dalam gambar tersebut. kira macam you are the main focus. bila orang tengok gambar tu, diorang akan notice you first instead of the next person sitting next to you. lagi satu, kalau boleh mesti nampak MUKA anda. kalau tak banyak sikit pun boleh lah. ngerti enggak?
