Card Patterns Sketch #136

Hi! Happy Sunday! It’s early morning here and it’s still dark outside. I’ve lit my first morning fire for the season and the temperature are below 0 degrees. A hot cup of tea and a free day ahead. It’s REALLY cosy! :)

Card Patterns brings a new super fun sketch this weekend:

And our sponsor is The Craft Spot

The Craft Spot has the most yummy bakers twines there is. I’m seriously in love! :) There is a lovely prize package waiting for one participant containing both beautiful wrinkled ribbons and clear stamps!

Now over to my card. I had so much fun making it. It didn’tturn out as I had it pictured at all. I just kept adding stuff… And mostly, for me, that is a bad thing. But I must honestly say I actually like this card with all the stuff. :) :) :)

CP 136

The papers used are oh so lovely Et Cetera from Bo Bunny. My absolute favorite right now! And the stamps are from Prickley Pear. The beautiful sentiment is a new red rubber stamp Thank you would suffice, while the leafs are from the Oak and Maple Leaf Clear Stamp Set and Die and the Pumpkin Clear Stamp Set 2  and Die. Twine and ribbon are from our lovely sponsor My Craft Spot.

You’ve got to go over to the Card Pattern’s blog to check out all the DT samples. The ladies are awesome!!!

I got my man back yesterday, he’s been to Greece for over a week. I’ll enjoy him today, both as company and work wise, I have a list…

Then I’m off for a little crop with friends. I love this day already!

Thanks for stopping by!

We have a super generous sponsor: Independet Stampin’ Up Demonstrator Cahterine Pooler who has donated a fabbie prize kit to one of the participants this week.

And she also sent the DT some goodies. I’ve been playing with the Woodland Walk kit. I’m in love with the Woodland Walk Designer Series Paper. Check it out!

Happy Sunday!!!

Wow! What a week! What a weekend!!!

FD 1

I could get used to turning 40.

But my boy told me yesterday that it was an once in a lifetime experience and I should really make the most of it. So I did. My family and friends helped by pampering me with love, cake and presents. ♥♥♥ And I realized (once again) that my boy is not only cute, he is pretty smart too… :)

Now over to some scrappy business.

Card Patterns sketch #133 was launched yesterday.

Super fun sketch and super fun sponsor!!!

Here is my card using the lovely Daffodil Charlotte from Sparkle Creations.

Card Patterns Sketch 131

Happy Saturday! I can’t express in words how happy I am that it is finally weekend. We had a messy, busy, crazy first week with more students than we’ve had in many years. Super fun, but boy was I wiped out yesterday night when work week was finally over. Today I’ll spend all day with cleaning, scrapbooking and playing Wordfeud. Scrapbooking and Wordfeud are both very addictive. Cleaning not so much…  :)

Saturday means a new super duper fun sketch from Card Patterns. LOOOOVE this one (as I always do, but anyway!).

The sponsor is Kim at My Craft Spot who has the fabbiest wrinkled ribbons and twines around!!!

CP 131

The stamps are from a brand new Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Clear stamp set. Me likey!

Here is a close up. The circle stamps of this set are a perfect fit for the Dies Direct nested circles and the Scalloped Circle die from Prickley Pear. I also stamped the circle stamp repeatedly on the scalloped edge die. Fun!

CP 131 detalj

Ten brand new clear stamp sets with coordinated dies will be available in the Prickley Pear Web Shop this weekend, and we’ll have an official Release Party with mighty nice blog candy next weekend. Hope you’ll be back then!!!

Have a great Saturday!

Love the sentiment too… :) :) :) Both stamps are from Prickley Pear.

I’ve been a bit off this week, with a pretty bad migraine, so not much blogging or crafting. But I did manage to get a card and a layout done this morning before I began working on the walls of the boy’s room. I’ll be back with the card tomorrow.

The photos are from my son’s graduation celebration and I took them with my iPhone and  shared them with Instagram. My boy is so NOT into taking photos. He really HATES it but on special days I demand my right as a mom to snap photos. He really tries to bare with me, while his friend in the background turns out to love having her photo taken. :) :) :) Look how she is peeking up behind him!

photo fun

I used my July Kit Urban Loft from Cocoa Daisy (LOOOVE this kit, such awesome colors, and the stamp!!!!) and the sketch is from Sketchy Thursdays

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!! I wish you a lovely weekend!!!

Card Patterns #125 and a layout

Here is this week’s sketch from Card Patterns!

Print

Sparkle Creations {Rubber Stamps} is this week’s sponsor and the DT got some fun red rubber to play with. I got sweet Cupcake Ruby! Here is my take:

CP 125

Hope you will play with us this week!

I have a layout to share too. I made it this morning, it was one of those layouts that simply made itself. A great sketch (Sketchy Thursdays) and a super gorgeous Cocoa Daisy kit with a lot of sassy goodies made it come through in less than an hour. That never happens. At least not when I’m really happy with the result, which is the case with this one! :) :) :)

Ovan molnen

It’s my sweet boy on his first flight ever. He took like 50 photos out the window of the same beautiful sun and white floor of clouds below. He was overly excited of it all. ♥♥♥ Here is the sketch from Sketchy Thursdays:

Thank you soooo much for popping in!!! Have a fab Saturday!

Card Patterns #124

Howdy!!! A new fab sketch came live over at Card Patterns yesterday. I was too busy painting what will be our new façade to be able to blog or pretty much do anything else. Hard work, I’ve decided I prefer my aquarelles before the smelly sticky oil based stuff any day! :)

The sponsor this week is Unity Stamp Co who will give the winner a fabbie clear stamp set of sentiments! Here’s the sketch:

And my take is pretty close. I made a light box holder. Thought it was meant to be! :)

CP 124b

CP 124a

The stamps used are from the fabbie Botanical Garden release from Heartfelt Creations. Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set and Leaf Medley PreCut Set. The papers are Pink Paislee Botanical Garden. I’ve had them quite some time, too pretty to cut… Well, that is no more! :)

As always, the DT did some amazing work with this sketch, go check it out here! :) And I hope to see you play!!! Take care and thanks for stopping by!!!

Hooray!

Hi! Saturday brings a new fabbie sketch from Card Patterns!  Lookie at this one! Fun huh!?!

This week’s sponsor is BoniBleaux Designs!!!

And here is my take on the sketch.

CP 123

Cute stamps from My Cute Stamps!!! I was inspired by a post over at The Moxie Fab World where a box of Corn Flakes was an example of  every day source of inspiration and I thought I’d try that one out! Fun! :)  Go check out the fab work of the Card Patterns’ DT HERE.

I’ve spent the week with my family in beautiful Barcelona. It was a first time visit and it was instant love. What an amazing city!!! We got home late last night and first thing this morning I printed the first two out of 500+ photos and made a layout. I’m planning a Barcelona album. Never done one full album before, but now I have the photos and all the stories…  This will be the first page!

Barcelona

The big photo is taken from the top of La Sagrada Familia. The view was breath taking. And the small one is one of many of the amazing Gaudi buildings one kept running into. I used the May Cocoa Daisy kit for this page, perfect papers and details!!! Like the tickets – in Spanish!!! :) (yeah, I know, they speak Catalan in Barcelona…)

I used this super fun sketch from Sketchy Thursdays!

Thanks for stopping by! I’m off for a gigantic blog round. It’s crazy how many posts I have in my reader right now…
