May your life be like a wildflower…

Happy Sunday! It’s time for a new Super Sketch from Pam and 365 Cards!

We have a great sketch this week (ehhhm, we always do, but this one is sort of a favorite!) And we have a fab sponsor! It’s time for a new Ippity Stamps Week!

Our sponsor is Kim Bell and you can check out her blog HERE!!!

Do you see the endless possiblities with this baby? Thought so. Here is my take.

May your...I decided to stay with one piece of patterned papers and masked off the different squares with  not it paper, and stamped the different flower stamps from the Hibiscus clear stamps set from Prickley Pear. Then I enhanced the blocks with some stitching. May the... detalj You can find the DT samples of the sketch over at 365 cards blog! You should go check them out, they are AWESOME!!

I have a layout to share today too. I did it this morning to pamper myself for the fact that while my boys will spend the day at the beach, I will be working. *sniff'*

No PhotosLOVEEEEE these Mama-razzi papers from Bo Bunny! They don’t come better than this! Had some troubles cutting in them, but when I saw the Sketchy Thursdays challenge this week, I knew they would be perfect. I’m such a lousy Mama-razzi. Most of the time I get a palm or a really, REALLY blurred photo due to the “victim’s” detection of the photographer and a quick maneuver to get away. Oh well…

Have a wonderful Sunday folks!!!

Welcome to Super Sketchy Sunday!!!

And welcome to our CELEBRATION week! We celebrate that we have reached over 1000 followers and that we have the best challenge participants there is!  And to honor our followers and participants, we’ve asked 11 of them (one for each DT) to be our Guest Design Team this week.

So instead of a card, I have the honor to introduce Hannah to you!!!

Hannah is an über talented card maker. She has this wonderful clean and simple style with a wonderful eye for color and a great sense of humor. I’ve loved her style ever since I first met her over at 365 cards. So go check out her personal blog HERE, and pop over to 365 cards and take a look at the sketch and the lovely Guest Design Team!

Did I mention there is a PRIZE??? It is!!! A $20 gift certificate to Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps store!!! Wohooo! So in honor of this, I had to play with some of my own Prickley Pear stash!!! Which brings us over to the “some more” part…

I’ve also used some more of the fantastic SRM Stickers and will enter this card in Jenny’s fun sticker challenge over at ..wee Memories..

There are two new blogs in blog land!

First out is the paper kit club A Page in Time, who has launched it’s very first blog and is holding a blog candy now as we speak. Soooo, if you want a chance on some goodies, go over HERE and leave a comment

Next up is my MOM! she finally took the plunge and started a blog. I think I have some real good influence on her, started with getting her trapped in card making, and now she is quickly developing an addiction for challenges and blogging. If you want to welcome her to blog land you can find her HERE.

Have a lovely Sunday and be sure to pop over to the 365 cards blog and take a look at all the cuteness from the DT!

Super Sketchy Sunday

Wohoo, it’s Sunday! A grey and cold and non springy Sunday, but I love it anyway. Cause it’s time for a new Super Sketchy Sunday with 365 cards!

As always, we have a super fun and inspiring sketch by Pam to play with.

I’ve had so many ideas floating around my poor sick little head this week, when working with this. Love this sketch, it’s on my top three Pam sketch list (and that is one tough list to enter!). It has so many possiblities. Well, I had to make up my mind and since my sewing machine is on a break, I went with the blingy idea.

Grattis Ebba

Papers: Bazzill, Webster’s pages
Stamps: Stämpelboden – sentiment, Hero Arts - butterflies
Ink: Versa Fine
Decos: Ribbon, Prima swirl, butterflies colored with copics.

I made this card for this weekend’s birthday party. Since I’ve been sick, I didn’t have any possibility to get into town to buy a present, so we decided to go for a money and lottery ticket gift for once. (I prefer a real present, but…) I made a pocket for that on the inside with a favorite piece of the patterned paper. I’ve been hoarding these Webster’s for ages, but since I got me some new ones, it was easier to start cutting!

I hope you will play along with the Super Sketchy Sunday cause I can’t wait to see what you create out of this!

Have a lovely Sunday!
