Pregnant in style, nursing in style...and its 2 in 1!

When I found out that I was pregnant (afham), I was totally clueless when it comes to maternity wears. I always see pregnant woman in maxi, or typical pregnant dress.

Later, after searching thru net I found 2 in 1 maternity and nursing shirt! I just love the ideas because at least it can be wear not only for 9 months (the only things u might end up wearing it again and again). Until now I do not have maternity dress, perhaps because I prefer shirt to match with pants...lgpun ulang alik kerja naik public transport, mcm leceh pakai maxi, dress ni

But back to 2009 not much option that match my taste. So most of my maternity cum nursing wear bought from http://enjoybreastfeed.com/ (as I found they have shirt 2 in 1 design Japanese..kawaii for me!)

As time passed by, the shirts do have wear & tear signal (masuk mesin, asik dok ulang pakai..lama2 berbulu, dn koyak sikit)..so during confinement (alif), I started to shop online, and the good thing this time more option available...rambang mata...but I tried to limit, beli sikit2 (tapi sikit2 lama2 jd bnyk gak)

So today I share few website where u can find 2 in 1 maternity and nursing wear. On top of that, I always consider shirt can be 2 in 1 (because some of pic below not really fit for pregnant, but more on 2 in 1 pumping/ nursing and office wear). For time being bye bye poplook ( hajat hati nk jugak try 1 tp bila fikir balik keje kdg2 terus g mkn luar, lg senang susukan alif pakai nursing shirt.)

Oh ya to my suprise even tho I' m wearing either maternity and nursing wear or nursing and office wear, most likely it is not noticeable...some even kata cantikla baju, mana beli....bla2 then when I told the shirt is for bf also, thay stated to raise eyebrow...xcaya kot smbl nk carik mana nk selak2 untk susu/ pam..haha

Credit card charge extra for my Groupon purchase

All those online voucher can drive us crazy..with so much bargain and its so easy peasy purchase right? Milkadeal, Groupon, Ilovediscount and so on..

Recently I made 2 purchase from Groupon and notice that the credit card statement showed diff figure (ha itu pun tersedar sbb nk gi anto claim form...nk claim kat company for the ACCA fee, klu tak sebab tu maybe lah xsedar extra charges kan...)

So just trying my luck gogel lah ~ hah lps tu gogel terus ke FAQ Groupon http://www.groupon.my/faq (br terkedek2 nk baca FAQ..pdhal dh soping2)

We're terribly sorry for the additional charges. This happens because certain banks recognize Groupon as an international entity, therefore with this assumption, they charge an exchange rate fee which is entirely not necessary.

Our team has been alerted about this and are still working with banks to establish that surcharge is not necessary. Meanwhile, to make it up to you, we have placed RM3 worth of credits in your Groupon account.

Yes they really replaced the credits in my account (but the credit have expiry date – 1 year..oklah kan?). I know the amount might not significant, but it is our right as customer.

Ok, now I really dunno how to handle my ebm..just recently I thawed 2 botles and gave to Afham *sbbnya tutup botol ebm tu mcm dh rosak...*

I do not apply tandem nursing, but just few days started give Afham 3-4oz ebm *only 1 serving usualy right after he come back from nursery*..and the rest I stocked up.

Now I'm not sure..

..should I continue stocked up, buy deep freezer, and give Afham a bottle of ebm?

..just stocked 1 bottle per day, the rest give to Afham...so no need to buy deep freezer?

I really cannot think....

Just read here, yg upright freezer susu tahan 3 bulan je..betul ke? Then another question (malas nk cari)...betulkan ebm xboleh simpan kat rak pintu freezer tu sbb suhu situ xstabil?

Since this will be first time raya with lil one, I think I need a checklist ...So I will make simple checklist before encik suami started to ask “ mana ni, xbawa balik ke??” [haha encik suami, nanti klu sy dh terror bawak kereta kita switch keje nk? I missed the last time warehouse sale since masa tu dlm pantang...Then before this been there but not buying anything since masa tu pregnant 5 mths xsilapnya. Besides personally this warehouse sale more on ibu2bapa yg mmg dah ada anak...Haha because masa tu nmpk bnyk mainan2....

Most of the product are from Mydear brand, plus it also selling other brand..but if u expect Fisher Price ke xde lah kot (okeh sy bkn jenis brand..janji mainan tu elok dan reasonable price blhla beli...xkisahle org nk kata stingy mummy ke). But bumbo seat ader xsilapnya (saw from someoen blog)

Shopping for our baby

Buying baby essentials nowadays can cost $$$ a lot...because there are too many choices...and furthermore comparing nowadays lifestyle where most of mum is working mum [so we need extra things like breastpump, stroller, baby sitter..and so on]

I have tried to get as many advice as I can through some of 1st timer mum to be...and so on...and some of it which I can remember are:-

- baby clothing; no need to buy super expensive and too many newborn size. since they will grow very fast. one of my colleague said she bought some clothes and his son can only wear it only for a week...and need, to shop again

- toiletories for baby; pls do not buy in large size. reason since some of ur friends might give it as present (ada kata hadiah2 tu akan x abes guna even smpi anak dh 2 taun), besides u will never know ur baby skin is allergic or not

- coat, stroller, car seat, bouncer, and so on is not a must things to buy at very early stage [ but it depends on ur lifestyle]. u can choose to buy it as and when u think it suits ur baby

- besides buying for the baby, do not forget things for urself....like breastpump, pad, breast pad, confinement set and so on

- different people have different reaction to all type of confinement set. I think the 1st time will be try and error [eg ada kata xsesuai nona roguy sbb badan jd lag panas, ada yg sesuai...and so on]

- brand vs no brand..again it depends on ur financial status...u might want to buy certain things with good brand for long term investment

- dun forget to have thermometer; reason its not accurate bubuh tangan pd dahi...so thermometer is the best and accurate

....the rest maybe later I will write it, as dh ada experience

Even ikea also have baby cot okeh....

My advice sometimes it will good if you can walk in, since they might have special package or deal at the shop which they do not update it at their website..and also sila la kejar warehouse sale and so on for great bargain

You also can checked here for some advice for the baby buying [cot, mattress, playpen...and so on ~ even teething rail also mentioned in here...what I notice Ikea cot do not have teething rail, as it is sell separately]

Some of our buying during YES sale...[ehem2 sebulan shopping but I think we do not buy every single things..reason biaq baby keluar dulu and then shopping lagi for additional things. some not in the pics like mosquito stand and so on...yelah beli sume sikit2...kdg terjumpa, teringat brla beli]

[I decided to buy manual pump as I read it will be useful esp during confinement ~ lgpun slagi belum masuk kerja direct feeding la kan, plus train myself to have some ebm stock

later will buy electric pump and this manual pump will become 2nd pump ~ which later will be use when the electric pump send for service]
