Mash-ups from Glee! Monday, December 28, 2009 tv headache. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 So. It's already late december. I have officially done.. Nothing. and you know something's up, when you get up late, watch tv the whole afternoon, and end up with a splitting headache. It's now too difficult to even be a couch potato. Wth right. I just met Gen and Jo. Really great to see them. At one point, they talked about work. and I realised that I know jack about the working life. Hell, I don't even have an internship, much less the experience. I tried to widen my idea of "what i wanna do in life" by googling potential jobs. I have writer so far, and even that is.. troubling. At this rate, I'm gonna be a bum -_- On the bright side, shows are quite enlightening in itself. Just watched this movie called "Born in Brothels", about children of sex workers in India. Damn sad, their conditions. "Blood Diamond" was amazing too, about Africa and the blood diamond trade. "CSI:NY" had an episode about the Holocaust - super exciting. Nazism is freakin' scary. I tried to do some Christmas shopping today. As expected, town is a nightmare. On the other hand, Gen is incredible - watching her weave through it all, she's Pac Man. She's tired from work, but looks like she can do a marathon without any trouble. and I'm the one not working. My gosh. She's the role model of the year (: Who wants to go museum say AYE! ;) a neat slate. Thursday, December 17, 2009 I quite like this. Much more neater and clearer. I just wanted it to look more like paper.. with lesser distracting elements. It's the result of my search through blogskins. Quite impressed, considering how many skins there are. I confess. I'm lazy about Christmas. Thanks to the 3+ years in sociology, I look at Orchard Road and think consumerism. It's so contrasting to the point of Christmas. What are we actually giving? Or should I say, giving up? A few cool things that happened: - I attempted to strip our old CPU, but in the end my sister ripped it apart, and my mum smashed the hard drive. ROFL. I now know how it looks like, and it's freakin' colourful! :D - Recently just had Christmas dinner with the CJ gals. Super awesome to see everyone together :) - Met up with my friend Yan Lin for lunch. Great to see her :) - Extremely full and bloated from all the Christmas dinners. I'm stuffed like a turkey! HAHA :P unexciting end Saturday, December 05, 2009 unexciting end so. it's the end of exams. Finally. After all those nights of cramming readings. but somehow.. it's not exhilarating. it felt so.. normal. maybe i've had too many exams. I'm already bored, and the idea of just stoning in front of a screen wasn't appealing, hence my mission to learn guitar. Felt really proud that I changed a guitar string by myself. Youtube rocks. Met with the Legion folks today. Was so good to see all of them (: We haven't met for quite a while. They gave me a learn to play drums book and ghosts of girlfriends' past dvd, and a sweet birthday sheet! Super happy (: I wanna go out.. like exercise. run, play badminton, cycle.. I feel I've been too.. inactive. All this sitting in this chair. Bleah.
