Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds Saturday, May 23, 2009 Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds  I SAW HIM. Nobuo Uematsu. OMG. So this is how it feels to be starstruck. THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING!!! I wanna fly to Taipei to catch the concert there!!! AHHH!!! I want the CD!! It was sold out by intermission! *Faints* Who knows how to use Amazon?? http://www.ffdistantworlds.com/ Word of the day exercise: I am far from equanimity - I WANT MY CD NOW!!! :P 7th Heaven.. (: bored after 14 days. Friday, May 22, 2009 bored after 14 days. It's the first time I'm bored since 7th May, the last day of my exams. I was bored after 2 weeks. Omg. So far, I have cleared the DVDs I planned to watch, including Friends and soon season 2 of Charmed. I only have 5 more novels to go. On the bright side, I'm gonna get season 3 of Charmed soon. That helps (: Not good to be broke and poor. [but not regretting the shopping spree of 1 bag, 1 pair of converse shoes and accessories one bit. I especially love the bangles :) Wing, you're amazing! :D] I think I'm gonna claim my free 2 dvds rental from Video King tmr (no more Video Ezy *faints*) - thinking of slumdog millionaire. Hopefully it's catalogue by now. I went running today, my first time in quite a while. Super unfit. Gotta work out man. Plus, halfway it rained. Somehow.. it was liberating.. to run in the rain. Quite refreshing (: The run made me think of what to do for the rest of my hols. How to make it different. Perhaps that'll keep me occupied. and of course, the search for the internship. Cos I'm not keen.. I'm gonna leave it to God :P P.S. Remember my tendency to hide behind pillows and cushions while watching thriller and/or horror movies? Turns out, it's inherited. Monday, May 11, 2009 Marley and Me stole my heart. I just finished reading Marley and Me. The thing about this book.. when they mean "me".. it really feels like me. You feel like you're the one with Marley, the crazy dog who has the strength to drag a table across a restaurant and to thrash a garage out of fear of thunder. That labrador is insane - "the worst-behaved dog" ever. Yet.. it reaffirmed so many beliefs of mine. That dogs are troublesome. They're a bundle of uncontrolled energy, they cost a lot of money, they're difficult to train, they shed hair everywhere and give off gas at that same consistency rate. Most of all.. despite their mortality, they steal people's hearts. I cried especially at two parts - the one where the dog quietly rested his head on the wife's lap, when she lost her first baby in a miscarriage, and at Marley's death. Especially the latter. The tears would flow, I would dab, then after reading a few lines, the waterworks erupted once more. I took so long to get through the last chapter. I was so glad for my bath towel hanging around my neck. It feels like I lost my own dog. and I have never had one. I don't know if I would ever keep a dog. I don't think my heart could take it. P.S. Saw Snaffee and Friday and their lovely owner today ;) Friday's cute :P but Snaffee's still adorable (: and their human owner is.. still the same, HAHA ;P *cheeky grinz* | |
