Haha.. this afternoon is commendable, cos it's the first time my parents and my sister have seen me around the house this week, lol. It's quite bad.. but what to do, our schedules just clash. It's good to see all of them though. Yeahness :) I just came back from the wedding rehearsal. It was quite scary, but so romantic. Super awwww moment man, serious. Plus cute little flower girl and page (paige?) boy :P My friend asked me if for my own wedding march, would i prefer a jumpy grand entrance or a heart-melting one? I say the latter manz - i'll be so awwww, i'll go, "oh yeah, i'll marry you without a doubt!" :P I met up with the Cj gals last night, for dinner and ice cream. [Sorry i was so late!!! :P] I had a "good ol' days" flashback.. of us in our cj uniforms, excitedly refilling the drinks while enjoying our student-price chicken-chops, and the walk to the small (not any more!! :P) Island Creamery to try their new flavours and 'kop' free pocky sticks. Nostalgia. I'm helping my friend Josephine promote her online shop! Ignore the Edward Norton part (haha :P), and you'll see quite a collection, at rather affordable prices. Monday, June 23, 2008 Pluggin' into: Psalm 103 - Loving and Forgiving After surfing through countless blogskins, under masses of themes, such as cute cartoons, anime, emo "i am angsty" and a whole load of other irritating themes, I finally found a new blogskin. It's rather simple.. but I think this kind of best symbolises the type of human condition I am at this point of time. You guys probably have to get used to the new layout - for one, the tagboard is on the left, rofl. [kind of like driving on different sides of the roads in other countries, lol :P] It's already June. I am officially a slacker :) Though this time is heavenly, spending good times catching up with friends and just chillin' on with dvds and the laptop, it hasn't been good for the numbers on the weighing scale :P Well.. u get some, you lose some.. or in this case, gain some, HAHA. I tried to make my own ice cream. Batch#1 was too sweet, and looked more like an ice lolly rather than smooth creamy ice cream. Dad called it cubebox - i might name my shop that, if I ever reach ice cream parlour standard :P I'll prolly try it out again sometime next week, this time with whipped cream, double cream and lots of shaking (yes, i make ice cream with ice and ziplock bags :P) Thinking back of memorable events.. * Met up with Livia, to watch "Sex and the City" - she's a scream :) * Legion's sleepover was a real scream :) [Happy birthday benny! :)]. * Picking up jojo from the airport along with the rest of the cj gals was exciting, fun and we had a whale of a time :) , * Packing Pam's room (which hides 4x as many things as its first appearance gives away), * Hanging out with the church band people, with much laughs and music * and so many many more outings.. (: I surrendered everything to God. and somehow.. things are turning brighter :) a little snippet. Friday, June 06, 2008 To be honest.. these days.. whenever I come to my own blog.. somehow, I never finish an entry. I think it has to do with my blogskin.. I need a new one. pronto. As you can figure.. i'm back from Taiwan :P [actually, i was back since 24th May, heh heh :P] More on Taiwan in my next entry.. or it might just not even make it to entry-existence, like my super long London trip the last time, heh heh. I've been real busy this week. Mostly catching up with people and a visit my new baby cousin on Sunday [he's so adorable! :)] .. though it does get physically exhausting.. It was really good to see friends. Sharing good times with new friends and learning more about them, having more great times with older friends and enjoying ourselves.. yes. I am blessed. I've watched many movies :) Prince Caspian, Made of Honour, Sex and the City.. man, i do love the movie theatre. and.. i've been watching Prison Break :) I've been thinking of love.. and that despite everything.. I do still believe in love. | |
