Taiwan!!! :) Wednesday, May 14, 2008 Pluggin' into: Cherry Pie (can't rmb who sang this, lol) The stupid exams are finally over. I think I more or less messed them up, but I'm pretty much heck and over with it. Fri, I went out with Char, Angela and Auddie for good soup, plus a great show with hl!! *grinz* Sat, I had good tea with char and got scones for Mum :) Sun, Mother's Day! :D Mon, ice cream with selina and jojo ;) Tues, sleepover :) I just had the IJ gals over for a sleepover. It was fantastic and hilarious.. and, I seriously didn't expect them to get so addicted to guitar hero (All except hl, lol :P) It was funny and scary, lol! :P We actually managed to watch the shows we rented! :D [well.. 2 and a half, out of 3 :P] We watched Dirty Dancing 2 (which is sooooo HOT! :P), Prime (which was ok. Uma Thurman is so pretty :) ) and Little Black Book, which sucked and was Really BAD. Stupid plot, stupid thoughts, stupid girl. Bah. It was real good to have the girls over. I haven't seen them in eons.. and it really felt just nice to just hang together in good ol' comfort. I'm surviving on 1 hour of sleep, but I feel absolutely great :) I pray that we'll all be all right, and to hold tight, till we get through. God bless always *hugz* I'll be in Taiwan from this Sunday (18 May) to next Saturday (24 May). Anything get me on my hp. Taiwan, here i come!!! :D 18 hours, 17.59 hours, 17.58 hours.. From 11pm today, to 1pm on Thurs = 24 + 14hours = 38 hours. Exactly 38 hours more. I don't feel prepared, but I so wanna just get this over and done with. urgh urgh urgh. 38 hours. 2 more days. 2 more days. Haircut :) Friday, May 02, 2008 Pluggin' into: Radio Gaga by Queen (musical version) One of the best places to destress, is indeed, the hairdresser salon. (the top place is the shower, heh heh! :P) I just went to cut my hair today. I wanted to cut it after my last paper, but Mum simply couldn't stand my lion mane, lol. [She had been hounding me for a week I think, haha..] So off I went, and it was quite hilarious. Each time my hairdresser thinned a section of my hair, a thick hairball would fill his hand, and the look he gave it was priceless. Plus, before my wash, the assistant exclaimed, "Wa! ni kan, zhe mo dou!" (English, literally: Wow! You see, so much!) Haha.. the pile can form a mini "it" :D I must say.. My head feels a lot lighter, heh heh :) That's good, considering this HEAT. When the hairdreser's assistant washed my hair, we actually had to wait for the water to cool! That was how hot it was man.. scorch. I think the hair salon is the ultimate socialisation arena. For one, the hairdressers never fail to talk :P After all.. I guess after a while, it does get boring to just cut hair. From then on.. the topics talked about are limitless! In my 45mins haircut, conversations actually covered issues regarding children, family, the government and protection of local companies, Taiwan and Thailand, lol! Truly amazing :D I just finished watching Ellen - my sis and I love her show. She interviewed Janet Jackson today. My bro and I were discussing of how sexy she looks, but when she talks.. it sends memories of Michael Jackson, his nose & children obsession - shivers. Anywayz, Janet's so soft-spoken and shy, but when she sings.. wow. It's like she's a different person altogether. The transformation is quite amazing :) and her new cd Discipline is quite appealing. Argh. Supposed to study. 6 days to the 8th! Summer, summer, summer.. (make haste damnit!) Thursday, May 01, 2008 Pluggin' into: Run by Collective Soul I am so tired. Remind me never to arrange 3 exams in a row, day after day. It is truly exhausting.. I feel my body aching and my brain smarting. I think these are my worst eye-bags ever. Plus, I think I'm losing my mind. Symptom: Lack of comprehension in conversations, lags in hearing and memory, and a whole bunch of theories & jargon, of which I prolly will employ less that half in my final paper [yes, I do have 1 last one on the 8th]. Thanks to all dear friends, who gave such kind encouragement. It was greatly needed and much appreciated :) I miss all of you too. LOADS. Curse this weather, with its turbulent mood swings. Countdown: 8 days to sweet summer holidays. | |
