Sighz. Wednesday, January 31, 2007 I AM WAY BEHIND FOR STUDIES. I realise that nowadays I can't really type or articulate what is on my mind or in my heart. Like.. it seems really clogged up. The new leather smell in a new car :) HL >>> LOSER!!! :P (kidding la, haha) a super happy day. Saturday, January 27, 2007 My laptop's back!!! :D and it goes at the speed of light!!! Muwahahahahahahaaa :D :D :D Favour --> I need to restart my music collection - pls send songs to me, thanks!!! =) Today was a super happy day. I met so many friends today.. not only from previously, but from last sem's tutorials as well. I had 3 grps of frenz in Psychology lecture today, lol!!! :D Perhaps.. NUS may not be that bad.. it's the people :) By e way.. today's psychology lecturer.. was the guy who taught the 3000 module that tuesday, lol. I think my sitting through his tutorial may be a blessing in disguise - i managed to figure a few of the visual illusions he showed us today, haha! :P He's the best lecturer so far though.. and that's good news =) My body aches. I think I'm getting tired.. or old *gasp*. I desperately need a movie. BABEL please!!! :D I got this from Alison's blog.. I think it's super funny :P The people gathered, prepared to stone the guilty prostitute. Just then, Jesus appeared and said, "whoever who have not sinned at all in their lives may cast the first stone." Obviously none of them dared to strike the first stone. "I'm not referring to You Mother!" Tutorial trouble! Tuesday, January 23, 2007 Today was an exciting day. HAHA [To all who know, bear with me. lol] I was mentally prepared for a 10am - 6pm day. 3 tutorials, 1 lect. The first two were fine, so I headed to my last tutorial, Intro to Psychology (PL1101E). As the tutor sat down, he began to take attendance. He didn't call out my name, with i thought was weird but decided to let him know after the class. He then started the class. He passed around these papers filled with loads of visual illusions. It didn't appear odd at first, because we touched a bit on visual psychology. After a while, I realised that his whole tutorial was basically going through the visual illusions. He then spoke, "Remember in my lecture last week, I did something with the cards?" and he continued from there to explain. I sat there thinking.. Me: "WHERE GOT??? WHAT THE HELL???" After about 45mins, I deduced the possibility that I might be in the wrong tutorial. I leaned over and asked the girl next to me, Me: Sorry.. what tutorial is this? Girl: PL3xxx... Cognition and Visual.. Me: Oh shit! i'm in the wrong tutorial!!! Girl: No wonder you look lost Me: -_- I was about to dash out.. Girl: Actually, why don't you stay on till it ends? You've already been here so long. Me: Isn't it 2 hours? Girl: Nope, 1. Me: Like that, haiz. Might as well. This was how I went through my first 3000 module. LOL. Anywayz, a few days ago I drove BY MYSELF to the gym! Felt good.. I parked crookedly, but at least it was in the lot, heh heh :P I just finished watching Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora. [anyone who can translate this, please tell me!] THIS ANIME IS SUPER SWEET!!! Omg.. it's only 6 episodes, but it's so touching!!! *heart melts* Love it!!! :D :D :D I miss my laptop. Monday, January 15, 2007 I miss my laptop already. This sucks. Stupid Fujitsu S7110.. I'm using the computer in my living room now. It's much faster.. but now I have to save everything to thumbdrive and print in school. Well.. back to taking notes, Old School. I went with HL to attend Ali's concert last Sunday. Haha, our mad dash for flowers.. at least now we know there's a florist in Chinatown :P Plus, taxis changing shift are MOST RUDE AND IRRITATING. Disappointing. It was a pretty good concert. Towards the end, I got sleepy.. maybe it was cos of hunger as well, lol. More or less, Ali and HL has covered the concert event.. not much to add.. and yes, Ali's face was brilliant when both of us screamed for her. Please man.. we're IJ gals. PLUS it's HL and SARAH *grinz*

Friday, January 12, 2007 Today I was driving, my mum next to me. I think I'm getting the hang of it. At the 2nd entrance of NUS, there was this jam at the left filter - there had been an accident. 2 buses collided; i think a car got involved too. Mum was quite worried, so she said, Mum: Pull over at the bus-stop. We switch. Me: Ok.. i think I can just drop here, Mum. Mum: *switched and started to drive* She drove me for quite a short distance - 30? 50m? - before dropping me. Lol. A lecturer passed away recently. Somehow.. the death reminded me of a friend's dad, who passed away a few months ago. Heavy heart.. I've been reflecting on myself lately. I think I concern myself with details. At times, when things don't go as smoothly.. perhaps, in a sense, i'm not flexible. It reminds me of all the times I was in a CCA and all the stupid mistakes I made. It's hard to change.. but I guess, I just have to keep trying. My laptop hung on me today. Bloody hell. I have to go to the Co-op on monday now.. sianz. Am using the outside PC to type this.. at least this comp loads Bleach faster than my laptop, heh heh :P A chef from Sticky Rice left on Wed. Felt quite sad.. I quite liked her. Gave her a lighter and a note - she taught us how to fold a crane one day with no customers, haha. I'm gonna miss her. I wish it'll stop raining soon. (well, partially, but heck :P) SUPER HAPPY!!! :D :D :D I just have to tidy my bags, deliver all remaining presents, go through my old notes.. I now have LOADS of rough paper.. Thinking of selling my lit books.. heck. I'm still happy. In addition, I've hooked my amp up, so now.. I can take up guitar again. Yeah.. =) Plus, Dad helped me fix up a ledge.. he was so proud and happy of himself, lol :D [It's also straighter than my uncle's, who had a ledge and gave me this one, heh heh] Now I can display last year's present from the Cj gang - Bleach figurines :) Too bad the series is so long.. thanks to HL, i realised I stopped at 80th + episode only, lol. Ah wellz.. Rukia still rocks :D I LOVE RENT. OMG.. it's a fantastic movie. It revolves round these people who struggle to pay their rent, dealing with HIV, AIDS, relationships and discrimination. The issues it touches.. and the suble messages.. wow. I wanna get the soundtrack and the DVD.. the music is fantastic. They all sing so well.. *Drools* :D My sister's got school tmr, muhwahahahaha.. I finally got it right.. the perfect tom yam noodles with egg.. muwhahahahaha :D Shared with my sister, who made me a choc coke float, haha. On the path to F-A-T. At least i'm not alone :P 30th Dec 2006: I met up with the Ij gals - Santa Sarah had to give presents out :P We went to Minds Cafe in Boat Quay.. super fun la. We played all sorts of games.. Cluedo, Bluff, some reaction game.. One of the more interesting one was this game where you had to draw what the card depicted, then vote whose drawing matched a particular description best. I think it reflected our personalities best, lol. That was rather interesting :) Haha, all in all, Taboo took the cake. It was just so funny - WE were just so funny, hwahahahahahaa!!! :D :D :D After which, we took loads of photos - refer to either HL/Ali's blog. We went to Marina Bay foodcourt for dinner, then headed to Esplanade just to chill. We had a real nice heart to heart talk.. talked about our values and beliefs (in regard to Syl's essay - jia you!!! :D), then about school.. our fears.. everything. That's what I love about all of us.. that we can simply be open and voice out our inner thoughts and insecurities and all.. I feel so safe and so at home. I'm lovin' it all the time :) Back to school. So NOT looking forward to it. On the brighter side, Dad and Coco brought me driving, which is much smoother than the time Mum brought me, lol. Hopefully, i'll be able to drive by myself real soon ;) I love SLE highway. | |
