My.. i can say that this past week has been a test of faith.. and a test of the body. All of crucial times, I have fallen sick, had a near "fish-bone" incident and just today, struck by an excruciating headache. Now am trying to cough out all the phlegm in my throat which tends to choke me now and then, lol... I have lots of studying and catching up to do. Sigh. I had a weird dream two nights ago. In the midst of many quotes.. I dreamt of poles - the kind you see in a driving circuit - falling everywhere. My gosh.. what a nightmare. Lol. Well, Mei's PSLE results are released tmr! Gotta pray for her.. Lost my Take the Lead Cd :( Depressed.. hope it'll pop out soon. Can't wait for exams to wait.. can't wait for Happy Feet :) Exam Rush!!! Sunday, November 19, 2006 Man.. it has been hectic times. I though I swallowed a fishbone (yes, again..) and so, went the Doc. Discoveries, lol... 1) Receptionist took my temp. R. : You have quite a high fever you know? 37.9 degrees. Me: Really? lol. 2) When I entered, the Doc went, Doc: Hey Sarah! How was the contact lens the last time? Alamak.. he still remembered my contact-lens-"stuck"-in-my-eye issue.. paiseh.. haiz.. 3) Upon inspection.. Doc: I see swollen tonsils.. and an ulcer in ur throat. You have throat infection. Me: *thinks* (so much for fishbone.. it's a bloody ulcer la..) Haiz. So i'm sick. And i have to study loads of stuff for my Two papers this coming sat. Rejoice... On a lighter (pun! Hwahahahaa!!! :P) note, I just came back from bday celebration with the Church Gang. We went for 9am mass.. then Genesia and Charmaine asked me to choose place to eat. With my mind so fogged up, lol.. In the end, we went to Suntec City to eat Dim Sum at Crystal Jade. The xiao long bao and the red bean pancake rock man.. yummy. Johanna and Jensen were super late la. After which, Gen keep on chasing me to go toilet. Pls la.. I'm sitting inside, why would I want to move? Also, I felt like sleeping, kekez.. In the end, Jensen sms me saying he's lost in Suntec and has stomachache. 1st thought was "wth? weakling!" Went to get him. Later turns out the idiot didn't have stomachache - he was pretending all along. I was suspicious already, esp. since before that Gen kept on asking me to follow her to the loo. :P When we went back to the restaurant, there was Jo, with the other two morons grinning and on the table was the tallest choc. cake I've ever seen in my life, lol. (from breadtalk I might add, kekez) Of course they burst into song, haiz. They presented me with a super nice photo of us and a funky brilliant red lighter. Thanks man!!! :D After that, we went to Carl's Jr to feed the latecomers and simply chat. We then shopped a bit, then went home to study. Felt good to just goof about.. Looking at all my bday photos, I do desperately need a haircut. Guess that and fixing my comp will have to wait till after the 5th. Gtg - I'm racing the clock now, sighz. Completion of Bday Stages :P Monday, November 13, 2006 Today was one hectic day man.Couldn't get up this morning, so I was late for cath class - i only arrived 15mins before it ended la, lol. It was the last session too, kekez :P Decided not to continue teaching k2s.. it has been fun, but I don't think I'll be able to commit. Yep.. will miss the kiddos though. After which, I went home, changed and left to meet the Ij gals at Marina Bay. Came about 15mins earlier and witness all of them with loads for barang, hwahahaha!! :P I felt extremely curious, especially since HL, Syl & Ali wore shorts.. was wondering wth they were up too, rofl. We took a bus and headed to the steamboat places. All of them were closed. We took a table and starting opening all their bags. WOW!!! :D Syl brought home-cooked mee goreng, Ser cooked fried rice (yes! by herself! :P), HL presented a box of fried chicken (Not cooked by herself :P) and Ali unveiled a box of salad! With 2 bottles of juices, the whole table turned into a great feast :D I ate happily, despite still being rather full from last night's dinner, kekez... After finishing, Ali and Syl went to the toilet. The 3 of us chatted.. then I started wondering wth the two of them were doing taking so long - they can't love the toilent THAT much ;P When they finally came back, Syl had something (obviously, i might add :P) behind her back. It was a super huge funky card!!! :D There were 9 squares - 5 boards, 4 transparencies - and they linked it altogether with rings! Super creative la!!! Sorry, I can't distinguish artwork very well - art happens to be the least of my forte :P Love it man.. Then they brought out a Roxy box and went "oh Sarah, we bought u a bikini!" My gosh.. they had me fooled for a moment. It was a extremely pretty Teal Leather Roxy Wallet. Omg... WOW. It's super gorgeous la.. and what I just happened to need, kekez. Lovin' it ;) Then came the commencement of Bday Stages :P Stage 1:After lunch, we headed to the field. Yes, a green wide plain of grass, not a turf of weeds. Ali fished out 5 kites. Yep.. we went kite-flying :) 3 diamond-shaped, 2 butterflies. I got the butterfly by default, lol. Omg.. kite-flying looks SO MUCH easier than it REALLY IS. Bloody hell la.. our kites were the biggest and most elaborate, but we were also so blatantly AMATEURS :P Ali and Ser got their kites soaring, Syl got hers flying and basically, HL and I were fighting with our butterflies, haha. It's so deceiving la.. mine would initially float and fly quite nicely before suddenly deciding it wanted to be a bungee diver instead, making a head-dive for the ground. I must say though.. considering I have never flown a kite before, I found the whole experience quite interesting, lol :P Maybe on a day where it's less hot and more windy.. i might have perservered a bit longer ;) Haha, I like to say that at this stage, slip-ups were made. I found it super humourous, hwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!! :D U go gals!!! Stage 2:We took a train to Dhoby Ghaut. After they changed in The Cathay, I found we were walking and heading to Dad's old office! Taking the lift, we suddenly came to this place which initially looked like a sleazy bar *faints* :P Turns out it was a Karaoke lounge! And supposedly non-smoking too, hwahahahaha :D It was damn fun la! We were singing then later singing & fooling abt, heh heh! Great fun :D If i rmb correctly, it seems like our 1st time singing Ktv. *shrugs* correct me if i'm wrong folks! :P Stage 3:Haha, this is damn funny. Stage 3 = dinner. Anywhere :P We decided to go to this little restaurant nearby called Sultana something. It does kebarbs and doner.. and it rocks the world :) My gosh.. i'm gonna go there again for sure ;) This stage too!!! boo boos, tsk tsk tsk :P Stage 4:After dinner, we crossed the road, went to some street and up the stairs. They brought me to the Minds Cafe! :D I've heard of it, but i've nv actually been there, so it was quite an eye-opener! :) After ordering drinks and snacks, we hit the board game Cluedo. I realised I had forgotten how to play, hwahahahaha!!! :D After the nice waitress taught us, we soon were on our way! It's damn fun la!!! Definitely a mind tweaker, it was quite funny to see us make so many blunders, heh heh! Esp. Ali man.. could have won! *pats back* ;) Completion! :D All in all, today was a super fun-packed day!!! Wow.. I didn't expect to go to so many places la, hwahahahahaha!!! :D Certainly a good work-out.. ate so much good food, so i guess i still have to hit the gym, but still a workout! :P Today was super enlightening - enjoyed myself tremedously :D Thanks gals for putting this together for me!!! Tmr's another day ;) Well, here I am.. officially 19 [ I've joined the group of the oldest teenagers in the world! *gasp* :P] I don't feel wiser, I don't feel smarter.. or more mature.. or more 'blossomed'.. but one thing I do know for sure is... I do feel really loved :) Speaking of hugs.. I love the 'Free Hugs' video on HL's blog. It was super nice.. I found it very touching. Hwahahahahaha!!! It all started yesterday. I came home from Eng lect and was settling into the sofa for a home-in movie. The phone rang. Auntie lena (my maid) and I both reached for the phone - she got it first. Upon seeing Char's hse no, I thought it was for me. Me: It's Char! Shld be for me! *picks up phone* Char: (over phone) ... "Sarah's birthday party"... Me: *shocked* *puts down the phone* Auntie Lena: *Laughing away* I went into my room and decided to focus on my SEA project. Next thing I knew, I received a message from Selina: ... "Meet at 9am at Sarah's hse tmr"... Buay ta han! HWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D :D :D After which, Char called again. This time I picked up. Char: Oh hey sarah! what time did u get home? Me: *deciding to humour her* Nah, I just got back from Eng lect :P During which, my mum's hp made noise, so I passed it to her while talking to Char. There were quite a few interruptions (like SMSes whizzing about), lol.. suddenly, Char abrupting exclaiming that she gotta run and promptly put down the phone. Witnessing the panic was priceless :) Today... Char, Selina, Jo and Mark appeared at 9plus (haha! :P) with cake and candles, rofl. After which, we had a vigorous nutella war, lol ;P As we settled to play mahjongg (YEAH!!! :)), who should enter but Wing and Yan Tong! :D Later, we all gathered at the dining table and ate Mac's lunch. Continued mahjongg and watched oh-so-hot dancing in 'Take the Lead'. The highlight: the video of all of us trying to take a photo on my bed, lol. It' on my comp and i'm lovin' it :P My.. I was so impressed.. and supremely touched when everyone appeared. Wow.. plus, when the slideshow began, just before the music stopped the first time.. I felt like I could really burst into tears there and then. Thanks lots guys.. u have no idea how much it means to me. *BIG HUGZ* Also.. thanks JiaMin, Jaimes and Jason (haha, all Js!), along with all of the sweet dear folks mentioned, for the FF7 ADVENT CHILDREN SOUNDTRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! :D Love all of you guys! :) At night, I went with my family to mass. After which, we went to Lawry's. Wow.. what a neat place. Next time, I'm gonna earn enough money to afford a proper meal there. When we reached dessrt, suddenly a crowd of waiters rushed in! "Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday from Lawry's! Happy Birthday to you!" "AND MANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Omg. My mum is still the master of surprises. Earlier, they sang to 3 pple already. Mum then said, Mum: Aiya. I forgot to tell them it's ur birthday. Me: haha, it's ok. I don't want it anywayz! It's getting quite irritating by now, lol. Mum: *impish grin* Son (Bro): Pls, you know Mum - she'll do it even if you protest. .. Turns out she did it even before we stepped it. Esp. the slugs, hwahahahaha!!! :D It really cheered me up - thanks gal :) Well, it has been rough these days. 5/30 for Eng test, did Yakuza presentation with 4 hrs of sleep.. but it hasn't been all bad. Cos.. THE FF7 ADVENT CHILDREN SOUNDTRACK ROCKS :D :D :D Thanks loads guys!!! Lovin' it - every single song :) I bought Robots DVD and Step up soundtrack as well. Paradise. Took a nap just now. Am currently working on SEA project. Lots of school work, lots of studying to be done. Sigh. At least i've been feeling real hard-working these days, ha ha... haiz. Am wondering if I should convert the section on "words" into one to place my desired movies, heh heh. After all.. i've no wise words to offer, especially during this period. At this point of time.. I feel i'm in no condition to give that sorta thing.. mentally too unstable via fatigue. I wanna watch: (1) Step up!!! (2) Happy feet!! (3) Flushed Away! (4) Deathnote (considering) (5) Singapore Dreaming Laughter rocks. By the way, Happy 21st Birthday Dong!
