SAMs car

This is the car john and Sam made for SAMs last day of school "drive on movie and car show".

Time to take a picture because it went in the garbage.

The injured

Thomas jumped to catch the ball at recess on Thursday and did something to his knee. He's been in pain since. We may take him in Monday depending on how he's doing tomorrow.

Cute kids.

Leah was laying on the ground and got hit in the face with a skateboard. Ow-ie!!!

Project. Yes!!!

I've been wanting this project to happen for years. I'm so excited its finally happening. We emptied the garage, took down some obnoxious shelves, painted, and are now building new awesome shelves.

After too long of a BYU game, these three are back at work. The others are showered and watching a movie.
John and Emily decided to paint the door mustard. We think this paint came from uncle Aaron.  Best part.....they're getting along.
Everyone helped empty the garage and paint.

Painting. Thomas is injured and is watching.
Beautiful wall. Ready for shelves.
I got started on another long waiting project. Now I have to decide if I'm painting the spindles white or staining them brown. Decisions. Decisions.

Life

We have nectarines and they are beautiful and yummy. The boys attempted to sell them but didn't last long. They made around $10 but need to get out again and make some money since I'm not doing anything with them.  We have apple, pear, dead peach, and nectarine trees. The peach just up and died this year. Sad.

Jack and his 4th grade class. It's going to be a good year.
Three days after getting home from Hawaii, John got back on a plane and went to china for 10 days. Poor guy sat in coach and so did the guy next to him. Luckily John was able to sleep a lot too. It was a good trip for him.  Busy and went pretty quick but man, everything's much better when we're all home together.
In china, on a conference call with a vendor or something. Always working hard.

First day of school 2013

Kid #1 lucked out and gets to ride with his friend in our ward and his junior sister.   Can't believe he's in high school.  Already finished drivers Ed with a 98% passing grade and On the golf team again. Can't wait to hear all about his new life this evening. I sure love this kid. I miss him already.

Cute girl left half hour after John. She enjoys riding the bus with her friends, has every outfit picked out for every day this week, and is excited to be a big high school (at the jr high) 9th grader. It's going to be a good year.

Last year for these three to be together. They've been so excited for school. We set goals together and individually yesterday and John gave fathers blessings. I'm proud of my kids and their goals and ambitions.

We've loved having Nate to walk to school with for the last4 years.

Gave, another good friend from the ward. And in Thomas class. Thomas teacher is in our ward and lives a few doors down from us.
Jack already to go. (And a little nervous)
Sam didn't wait for us. He rode his bike over and went straight to class.
His teacher is in our ward and usually sits behind us at church. She knows front and center is the best place for Sam.
I sure love these kids. Everyone went to bed really good last night at 930 then 5 of them took turns getting up throughout the night. (All but emily). It was really strange.
Johns back to work after a month off. 2 week family vacation then 10 days in china. He said it was weird and I can tell he's overwhelmed with getting back and all there is to do.
He called me on his way to work and asked how I feel. I'm so overwhelmed and exhausted that I don't feel much different yet. Just have a really long list of stuff to still do. Starting with my wreck of a house which includes the clean up and a lot of dejunking from summer.
Leah's going to be lonely I think. Until December, when she has a sister to love and maul.
Life is good.

Back to school BBQ

Love this tradition. Got to go twice when I served in young women's and its fun.

The youth go to our bishops ranch and tube the river, rope swing into the river, BBQ, and roast marshmallows around the fire.
I love these two.

7 Peaks

Finally redeemed our pass of all passes. Had a nice afternoon at seven peaks. Glad Leslie and Aaron needed to redeem theirs too so we were all motivated to go!!

John was happy to make friends with Kyle whittingham. And he was very nice.
John and Thomas.

Aaron and jack.
Aaron watching jack crash land.
Utah football team joined US at the water park.
How nice of them. I wondered at one point as I was walking right by them and with them, if it would bother them to know I have no idea who they are and couldn't care less. :)
Leah is super easy at the beach, pools, and water parks. She's not interested in the water and stays right next to me. She found joy in throwing leaves at people, blocking people from walking on the path, throwing a couple rocks in the water, sitting by me, drinking a huge sprite almost by herself, and running around and around the tree. She was forced a couple times into the water and lazy river and ended up enjoying it.

Thanks to Leslie for being a good mom. She got this for me because I wasn't in the mood to get off my rear end.

Stuff

Emily and 8 of her cousins, thanks to Leslie, got to dress up in clothes from Secret Haven and model for their Facebook advertisement.  I got to tag along and it sure was fun spending some time with them. What a great group of girls. I sure love them.

John checked on everyone before bed and found Sam semi snuggled up to jack on jacks bed.
Jack went to Noah Robbins birthday party and had a GREAT time. I can see why.
On our way home from the cabin, emily snapped a picture of this lonely dark cloud quickly moving low through the sky.
Emily and two cute neighbors all ready to go to the multistage dance. Emily's first. She danced with a senior. Yikes!!!  I picked them up a few hours later. They had a great time.
Leah had no intentions of going to bed. I sat at the counter with her at 11pm as she ate cereal. She kept asking me to take pictures of her. Both of these are posed.  Funny girl.
