I have at last treated myself the Mr Frosty woodware stamp set, can't wait for it to arrive now. Seen some lovely cards over at NattyK and Juliesjapes using these stamps, so I will be looking for ideas from them.
Also keeping my fingers crossed that no-one come trick or treating to ours, as hubby has bought sweets and I can then eat them whilst watching Most Haunted Live
Hoping to get some cards made later, but off to see my mum after work as she's been in for an op. Also need to let me Dad have his retirement card, as it's his last day at work, seems weird to think of my dad as retired.

I've been tagged by Natalie at Little Space of my Own and Julie at Julies Japes, thanks girls.
Ok, so there are a five questions I need to answer and then tag five others.
1. If you could have 100.00 worth of scrapbook paper or assorted embellishments, which would you choose?
If embellishments include ribbons, jewels and prima flowers then definitely them, love anything girly
2. If you had to choose between using only stamps or rubons, which would you choose?
STamps, never get on very well with rubons and I'm really getting into my stamping now
3.If you knew how to do both awesome cards and layouts but could only do one for a whole year...which would you do?
Cards, l just haven't got into scrapbooking. Thought when I got married I might want to have a go, but I love my cards too much
4. Would you rather own a scrapbooking store or have your own scrapping room at home
Scrapping room, or even better a craft cabin like I say over on Crafty Storage, some people are just so lucky
5. And last but not least, what is your CURRENT cardmaking or scrapping style....
I'm quiet into my stamping at the moment and I also try to stick to less is more & christmas, but I'm getting bored of them now!!!
Everyone I know has been tagged now, so no-one to nominate :o(

Birthday boy
My mum asked me to make a boys card for my cousin little boy. As they live in America and we don't see them, plus my mum can't remember exactly how old Colin is, I went with computer games. I'd seen a similar card in Cards Beautiful, so decided to go with that, as it's Monday and I always struggle on a Monday after a day back at work!!!!! Also gave me a chance to use this Sizzlit set, bought it as soon as it came out as I couldn't live without it, and this is it's first outing.
NB - just spoken to Mum and Colin is 10 (this should be OK) and like skateboarding!!!!! Let's hope he likes games when it's raining outside :o)
You make me smile award
I've been awarded the You Make Me Smile award by Amanda over on A Little Space of My Own.

Another Bella
I just love this bella, she is great for girlie christmas cards. I embossed some blue card with my cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and added this to the left hand side. I mounted bella and a Curly Girly seniment from Pink Petticoat onto the same blue card and added to the right hand side. I then used my Sizzix to cut out the Let It Snow.

First Pink Petticoat card
I love all Pink Petticoats papers and image downloads and have bought a few in the last couple of weeks, but this is the first card that I have actually made with them. Unfortunately our printer at home is being tempramental at the moment, so I've had to print off a couple at work sneekily to make this!!! The sentiment is from the Girly Curly collection and I love the font. The image is from the Lola's Boudoir and I think the paper was one of the free papers I received when I signed up for the newsletter.

No crafting for me :o(
I've not been able to craft since last Wednesday and I am getting withdrawal symptons!!!! We are having our house recarpeted tomorrow and Tuesday so we have been repainting all the ceilings and ripping up carpet this weekend. Also just finished moving the living room into the dining room and the spare room/crafting room into our room!!! So although I have 2 days holiday and nothing to do, I can't do any crafting as there is no room to get to anything. I know I will be trying to put my desks back together tomorrow afternoon instead of waiting for hubby to get back. will be worth it though when it's all looking nice on Tuesday evening

Papernation Christmas Cards
I made a few Christmas cards with some Papernation decoupage sheets I got at GMEX show. The Red stripe paper is from my Christmas DCWV stack, the holly paper I have had for a couple of years and the Merry Christmas is from a Papermania colossal pack, this is one of the only ones that I actually like!!!!! All finished off with ribbon.

Reindeer Pup
I love this stamp from Penny Black, he is just so so cute. I coloured him using Marvy Le Plume pens and then added stickles to his nose. Paper is from my Christmas DCWV stack with strips of red card added top and bottom and a peel off greeting to finish. Not sure if I'm 100% happy with this though, think the red card top and bottom is a bit too thick!

Magnolia Stamps
I am totally in love with these stamps, but as always I'm behind the time and have only got 1 :o( I keep looking on Silly Monkey, but the ones that I really want are already sold out on pre-order. Oh well, going to place an order for a couple anyway and keep fingers crossed that I can find the ones that I really love, the little girl in her dress are my favourite
Just Bex Alternative Xmas Challenge
My last card I covered a DL card in pink check paper, again from my baby papers, and finished with pink ribbon across the top. I then used my Woodware fairy and coloured her with Marvy Le Plume pens and added glitter to her wings and dress. She was then mounted onto white and pink card and a peel-off greeting coloured pink was added to finish it off.

This card I used Doodlebug red grid paper on the bottom of the card and finished with red card across the top. I then added a Papernation robin onto a white circle which was mounted onto a red scalloped circle. I added a greeting mounted onto white and red card and punched out 2 hollies and added red stickles for the berries.

My third card I covered the left hand side with pink check Doodlebug paper and added a strip of pink card to cover the edge. I then mounted a Christmas cat embellishment onto a white circle and pink scalloped circle. I added liquid pearls to each of the scallops and finished off with a peel-off greeting coloured pink.
Just Bex Alternative Xmas Challenge
My second card I covered half the card in some pale blue and white spottie paper from my baby papers. I added some snowflake ribbon across the top. This is another of the Papernation sheets that I got, which is soo cute. I coloured a peel-off greeting and some circle peeloffs blue to finish the card.
Just Bex Alternative Xmas Challenge
This is the first one for Bex's Friday night challenge. This weeks is to make 5 Xmas cards using none Xmas paper!!
First one I made by covering a square card with some blue check paper. I then used by Sizzix snowman & added the hearts & stars topped with buttons down the side. Finished off with a peel-off coloured blue. This was taken from an idea I'd seen in a Sizzix mag a couple of Christmases ago.

Papernation Christmas Dog
I love the Papernation decoupage, not normally a big fan of decoupage but their images are great. Got a selection of 6 sheets of Christmas ones and this is the first one that I have made into a card. He really is soo cute.
Used some of my remaining red and green paper down the left hand side (wish I could remember where I got this paper as I love it and i've nearly run out). Mounted the dog onto cream and then red card and added a gold greeting to the bottom right hand corner.

Christmas Pressie
I saw this idea in a shop last year and decided to give it a go with some ribbon that my mum had saved me (not sure off what). I used a cream blank and then covered it in gold paper with Seasons Greetings in gold on it, more of my Dawn Bibby Christmas kit. I then cut a red mirror square of card and wrapped the ribbon round this and added a big bow to the front
I've been tagged
I have been tagged by Michelle (Card Grotto), this is a first for me!!!
Here are the rules which you must abide by if you are tagged:

Ok 7 facts about me:
1. I love food, I start dreaming about what to have for tea when I'm eating my breakfast!!!
2. I was once voted best looking girl at work in my 20s (and I wasn't the only girl!)
3. I talk to my cats in baby voice and also have voices for my cats to answer me in
4. I can't text to save my life, it always looks fine when I send it and makes no sense once it's received. I blame predictive text for this, not me
5. I'm really interested in notorious serial killers and crime fiction, my hubby is getting a bit worried
6. I'm far too much of a control freak, hubby has nicknamed me Monica from Friends
7. Dirty Dancing is my all time favourite film, I wanted it as our first dance but had to settle for our second - nobody puts baby in a corner :o)
Unfortunately I'm a bit new to this blogging and don't have any blogging friends to tag :o(

Crafty tidy up
Well I had a nice evening to myself as hubby studying for his law exam and I had a night off visiting my mum in hospital. Thought I could get a bit creative, but instead I have spent the last 2 hours tidying my craft room (also known as the spare room!). I had stuff on the floor, the bed, under the bed and all over both my desk. Although I didn't get to make any cards, I do feel I have achieved something. That was until hubby reminded me that a week on Monday we are having the whole house recarpeted and I will have to pack everything up for the Monday & Tuesday!!!! Now feel I have wasted my time, oh well.
Also I've been tagged by Michelle (Card Grotto) and I need to think of 7 interesting facts about myself. Well I'm off to think about that and as Arnie says "I'll be back"

Just Bex Christmas Button Challenge
This card I covered two thirds of the card in paper from my Christmas DCVW stack (this has been a great buy!!!) and added a green strip of card at the top. I then cut out my Quickutz wreath and added red button for the holly. This was mounted onto a green circle and a greeting added to the bottom of the card coloured green
Just Bex Christmas Button Challenge
This card I covered the bottom half of the card with paper from my Christmas DCVW stack and added green DCVW ribbon which I stamped my greeting onto with Stazon. I then stamped the Penny Black reindeer and coloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and added a little red button for his nose. I mounted this onto a red scalloped circle.

Just Bex Challenge
This challenge was to make a card with paper you had had for ages and also paper that you had just got!!!!
The first card I made for someone at work for a friend who is retiring to live in spain (she's in her early 40's lucky thing!). I decided to use the lilac and striped paper from Papermania collasal pack which I thought reminded me of deckchairs!!! I then used ellison dies to cut our a bikini, ice cream and a ice cold drink. I mounted these onto circles that had been embossed with my cuttlebug folder. Don't ask me about the message, that was what I was asked to put.
The second card was using this lovely disney paper and a penny black sticker stuck onto acetate and cut out. I thought the colours matched really well and also the flowers went well together.

Just Bex Snowman challenge - 5th card
Just Bex Snowman challenge - 4th card
I coloured a Anita's peel-off blue and then mounted this onto blue and silver card. I then mounted another square of white card onto blue card and overlayed half the white card with snowflake vellum secured with blue brads. I then added silver contetti snowflakes and smaller blue snowflakes to the righthand side of the card and finished with a peel-off greeting.
Just Bex Snowman challenge - 3rd card
My third card was made (dare I say it) covering my card with paper from my DCWV paperstack. I then used my new Great Impressions stamp coloured with Marvy Le Plume pens and glitter added to the snowflakes. Red ribbon was added to the bottom of the card and a peel-off was mounted onto card.
