My mojo has gone!

Well my mojo seems to have gone missing, if anyone finds it can they please send it home!!!! Don't think it helps that we have had a hectic weekend and I'm feeling terrible. We have made 5 trips to the tip with rubbish from our building work and 2 trips to B&Q. Not to mention I've had to get my mum to do our washing as our washing machine has been disconnected until after the new kitchen arrives, so I've had to go over and pick it up from them.

This is another card made using Stamping Bella from First Class Crafts. I coloured this and yesterdays image on Friday night and it's taken me ages to finish this card today!!!

Jackie's Blog Candy

Jackee at Pink Diamond Creations is having a blog candy giveaway of a Penny Black Arrangment stamp. All you need to do is create a good luck card using some form of stamping.

This was good timing as I'd been asked to make a good luck card for a little girls ballet exam. I stamped a pink card with little dresses using versamark to create a watermark effect. I then punched out this ballet hippo from the Dovecraft paper and mounted onto a pink scalloped circle. I cut out another hippo and mouse and decoupaged it onto the image and added to the top of the base card. I stamped Hope (little girls name) and punched out using a circle punch, edged with ink and added across the card and then added pink gingham ribbon and a Good Luck peel off to finish.

Quick card

Well my lovely hubby told me at 10 tonight that his friend at work had asked if I could make a card for his gran, but that he needs it for tomorrow!!!!! So I went for one of my favourite layouts, as I didn't have the strenght to be too creative. I used a Pink Petticoat image, coloured with Marvy Le Plume pens and Liquid Pearls added to the middle of the flowers, mounted onto a pink scalloped circle. Layers strip of my favourite paper from Pink Petticoar onto the same pink card, tied some ribbon round it and added across the middle of the card. Then added Happy Birthday sentiment from Pink Petticoat onto pink card to finish off.

Papertake Weekly & Poppicraft Competition

I decided to make a card for both this weeks Papertake Weekly challenge and Michelle's competition over on Poppicrafts.

Poppicrafts January competition is very simple, "Make a valentines Day card using only these 3 colours - BLACK, RED and WHITE." The challenge over on Papertake Weekly is 'Roses are Red..' is to use red on your card! Any shade or shades of red that you like from bright pillar box to deep burgandy!!

I stamped You're a Treasure from Penny Black and coloured using my Marvy Le Plume pens. This was then mounted onto red card and a heart jewel added to each corner and just above the hedgies. I also mounted up a Happy Valentine's Day onto red card, this is an A Muse Art stamp. Black and white swirl paper from Pink Petticoat was added down the left hand side and I also tied some red chiffon ribbon down the left hand side. The image and message were then added to the right hand side of the card.

I love Penny Black!

I love Penny Black images they are just so cute and I think the hedgehog is my favourite. These have all been coloured, but were waiting to me make up into cards so I thought I better finish them off this side of Christmas!!

The first one if an image from Natty K and I have coloured using Marvy Le Plume pens. Image and Pink Petticoat sentiment mounted onto red card. The paper is from one of the Dovecraft sets. This image I got from Michelle at The Card Grotto and he is just so easy to colour in. I've added stickles to his hat, scarf and the snow. He's mounted onto blue card, the paper from Partners is also mounted onto blue card. I've coloured a peel off blue to finish off.

Another image from Natty K, again coloured using Marvy Le Plume pens, I've added stickles to the edge and mounted onto a red scalloped circle. The paper is from Doodlebug and I have added a strip of red card to finish off. Peel off has been coloured red.

Cards at last

At last I have made some cards tonight. Spent the last night designing name cards for my friends winter wedding, so I now have about 100 to make for her, I'll post a piccie when I've got them printed and one made up. I've also had to make up a couple of boxes of cards, one Christmas and one Other Occasions for my mum to donate to the Cancer Research raffle. Always struggle making boxes, but after 2 years of struggling I think I might have just about cracked it, did the lids in acetate so that you could see the cards and tied them in ribbon.

Was hoping to play with my Nestabilities dies as well last night, but my Sizzix Texturz kit hasn't arrived, so I will have to keep my fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow.

My first card I have mounted paper from Pink Petticoat onto blue card and mounted across the middle of the card. The Penny Black image I got from Natty K and I have coloured him with Marvy Le Plume pens and added stickles to his scarf and snow. Finished off with a peel off coloured blue.

I covered this DL card with some embossed paper that I had from a Crafty Bitz QVC TSV from about 2 years ago!!!! The image I received from Julie and this was coloured with Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added. Sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

I love Snowbunny bella, she is so easy to colour and always look fantastic - wish I did after so little work :o) She is watercoloured with Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added to her hat, pom-poms and cuffs. I've added little Papermania star gems and mounted onto pink card. The paper is both from Pink Petticoat.

Hubby has spotted a craft fair this Sat & Sun locally and was stupid enough to point it out to me!!!!! So guess where we are going this weekend :o)

Just Bex Friday Challenge - Happy Holly Days

The challenge this Friday was to make 5 cards all with holly on them. I really struggled with this one as i don't have that many holly things in my stash, so I have to resort to my huge pile of Anita's peel off that I got for about 35p a pack at the QVC outlet shop!

First one I used my new Quickutz candle die and added holly at the base, I mounted this onto cream card and a red scalloped circle. Covered a square card with paper from last years DCWV Christmas stack and added DCWV ribbon across the centre of the card. Mounted a Seasons Greetings peel off to finish the card.

This card I have used a Anita's peel off Christmas pudding with holly on top. I've coloured the waste and then added to the peel off. Mounted this onto red card and put an eyelet and ribbon at the top. Mounted holly paper onto red card and added this across the middle of the card. Peel off greeting at the bottom that has been coloured red.

This was based on an idea I had seen on Pootles blog. I have added some paper from last years DCWV Christmas stack mounted onto green card across the middle of the card. Coloured in some peel offs green and added his above and below. I then mounted 3 epoxy stickers onto green circles, the first one says santa, the middle one is holly and the last one says ho ho ho. Struggled to get a good picture of this one.

My mum had asked me to make some quick and simple Christmas cards for her to give to friends, so I used this Anita's peel off and coloured in using Marvy Le Plume pens. Simply mounted onto gold card and added to a tall thin card with a gold greeting.

The stamped image I got in a swap with Julie at Julie's Japes, which I coloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and red stickles for the berries. I add holly paper to the bottom of a DL card and added red card to finish off. ended up having to add holly to the paper as I got red stickles glue on it and I'm not sure I'm as happy with it.

Beate's Weekend Challenge 27

This is the first time I've ever been brave enough to enter one of Beate's weekend challenges, but I though I would give it a go. The template is one Beate's blog, http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com.

I used paper from my partners pack to cover a square card and then added some spotty blue chiffon ribbon across the card. I then stamped up Penny Black Little Snowy and coloured him using Marvy Le Plume pens and added stickles to make him frosty! Mounted ont blue scalloped circle and a small circle with a greeting added to the bottom right hand side.

Mr Frosty cards

Pictures aren't great, I'll try and get some in daylight. then again even in daylight it tends to be grey and miserable in Cheshire at the moment.

Paper is from Partners and I have added Anita's sticky ribbon to cover join. Mr Frosty is coloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added and the sentiment is an Anita's peel off coloured purple. This is using the last of this paper, I got it last year and I don't know who it is by but I love it. Mr & Mrs Frosty are coloured with Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles glitter added. Sentiment is Curly Girly from Pink Petticoat.

Also thanks to Sue for the images, can't wait to finish Christmas cards so I can have a play. Can you please leave me a comment with your e-mail (I won't publish it) as I want to send you something back!!!

Off to bed, as I haven't seen hubby all night as Mr Frosty is now the man for me. I have more coloured up, just haven't had the time to make any more cards. Doesn't working for a living get in the way of the crafting :o)

New cards

Just having a break from crafting to have lunch, so I thought I'd upload what I have done this morning. Thanks also to everyone who left messages yesterday, a lot commented that they looked forward to seeing the cards created with my stash, so I had to make an effort and use some of it. My problem is that I buy these things and then can't bear to use them just incase there becomes a shortage in craft goodies!!!!

This card layout was inspired by one on Natty K's blog, the paper is from my new DCWV Christmas stack and ribbon I got from my local craft shop. The Carolling Duck has been watercoloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added to his hat. I have embossed the blue card using my snowflakes folder, the silver padded snowflakes are from Mei Flower and the sentiment is Pink Petticoat.

This card I have used an image that I got from Jules at Juliesjapes and I have coloured in with H2O's, although I am not that happy with this to be honest. Never seem to get that good a result when I use them!!! I have added stickles to the tinsel round the tree. The paper was from Partners, ribbon is Anita's sticky ribbon and the sentiment is Pink Petticoat.

This card is using one of my favourite christmas stamps, the Carolling Duck from Penny Black. He's watercoloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and stickles added to his hat for some Christmas sparkle. Paper is from last years DCWV christmas stack, ribbon is from Dovecraft and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

This card I used a lola image from pink petticoat watercoloured with my Marvy Le Plume pens and paper from my new DCWV paperstack. I've added stickles to her hat and dress and the sentiment is also from Pink Petticoat.

Off to have another play this afternoon, as we're not going over to my parents this Sunday so more time to craft!!!! Hopefully will get photos whilst we still have some day light, although it has been foggy in Cheshire today, must be all the bonfires and fireworks last night!

Reindeer Pup

I love this stamp from Penny Black, he is just so so cute. I coloured him using Marvy Le Plume pens and then added stickles to his nose. Paper is from my Christmas DCWV stack with strips of red card added top and bottom and a peel off greeting to finish. Not sure if I'm 100% happy with this though, think the red card top and bottom is a bit too thick!

I then used my Woodware fairy and coloured her with Marvy Le Plume pens and added glitter to her wings and dress. She was then mounted onto white and pink card and a peel-off greeting coloured pink was added to finish it off.

Just Bex Christmas Button Challenge

This card I covered the bottom half of the card with paper from my Christmas DCVW stack and added green DCVW ribbon which I stamped my greeting onto with Stazon. I then stamped the Penny Black reindeer and coloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and added a little red button for his nose. I mounted this onto a red scalloped circle.

Just Bex Christmas Button Challenge

The second card I mounted paper from my Christmas DCVW stack onto red card and added to the centre of my card. I then stamp my Penny Black carolling duck and coloured using Marvy Le Plume pens and glitter onto his hat. Then added a Happy Christmas greeting coloured red and 3 red gingham buttons

Just Bex Snowman challenge - 5th card

My last card was made using my Magenta stamp, coloured using Marvy Le Plume pens. Paper was left over from last year and i've added a peel off border coloured blue and a peel off greeting coloured blue.
