Coupon Holders...

I am back... again, but first I wanted to wish you all a belated "Happy Thanksgiving!" I hope that all of you had a nice, relaxing time with friends & family. And for those of you who were brave enough to head to the stores on Black Friday, I hope that you got what you went there for. We, on the other hand, decided to avoid the crowded malls and spent some well deserved QT with the family. Okay, let's get back to my project that I wanted to share with you today.

Here is a book that I created for some wonderful friends. I finally dusted off my BIA machine and created this book w/pockets. I made one for myself and use it to hold my coupons when I go shopping. But as you can see, I decided to leave the tabs blank in case the recipients want to use it to hold other things. I used my Big Shot to cut out the Hello Kitty and the SU tab punch for the tabs, along with some various DSP. Thanks for taking the time out to check out my project!

Flower Box with 3x3 Cards...

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog even though I didn't post anything last week. Yikes! It was a busy week for our family. Our cat needed to be hospitalized for a kidney infection and now that she's at home, requires a little more attention. So please bear with me if I forget to post again... lol!

This box was cased from my dear friend Teri. I attended her class last year and I've always wanted to make more of these boxes. Funny how it took me so long just to case it... lol! Thank you Teri for the wonderful idea. To make the flower on the box I used my big shot, Flower Folds die, and the Vintage Wallpaper textured impressions embossing folder. The card was made with the Circle Circus stamp set.

Another Mini Recipe Book...

Here is another mini recipe book that I created using some of my favorite recipes. I made these using some left over DSP and the SU set Tart & Tangy. Hope you all have a great weekend! I'm looking forward to seeing my fellow crafters at our Stamp Camp this weekend! Hopefully I'll get a chance next week to post the projects our guests will be making. Thanks for stopping by...

More Paper Holders...

Here is another project that I've been seeing on several blogs. I finally got the chance to sit down and figure out the dimensions to make one. I kept the decorations simple since the area on top isn't very big. I decided to decorate them using the SU set Fox & Friends.

My Silent Auction Donation...

I decorated this post-it holder and photo album using my monkey punch art as the projects that I will be donating for our Stamp Camp this weekend. Each time we have a Stamp Camp, the demonstrators donate handmade items that are used for our Silent Auction. It is so much fun to see the excitement as the guest line up to bid on our handmade items.

Mini Recipe Book...

I made more of these mini recipe books that I created a while back. Of course I didn't have the same supplies to create the exact same layouts so I changed it up a bit. Wishing you all a great weekend! Be safe!

Paper Holders...

Here's another project that I worked on last week. I created this box to be big enough to hold 3" x 3" scrap pieces of paper. I love the sentiment that I used... "friends are the family you choose yourself." Isn't that sweet? It comes from the retired SU set Small Sayings.

Butterfly Post-its...

Just a short post today. I saw some of these cute little butterfly post-its on several blogs (but I don't remember which one... sorry) and decided to give it a try too. They were really quick and easy to make using my die and big shot. Have a great day!

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe it's been such a long time since I last posted. I guess you could say that life caught up with me and blogging (& crafting) was put aside... again. But I'm finally back to show you a little project that I was able to work on this week. I made these tags using various punches and the stamp set Every Little Bit. The to and from stamp is from the retired set Tiny Talk and the sentiment from the box is also from the retired set small sayings. I'm so happy that I have something to share with you today. Hope it inspires you to get crafting...

Bieber Fever...

Yes, you guessed it! My daughters all have Bieber Fever... including my baby! Just trying to make some JB things for DD2 to give to her friends... this is what I came up with: post-it note holders with pens. I decorated them using stickers since I didn't have pictures of him to punch out. I hope her friends will like these. I guess as long as JB's picture is on it, I can't go wrong! LOL! Have a great week everyone!

Mini Baskets...

Here are some baskets I created using the Frame, Oval Scallop die. The paper that I used is the Springtime Vintage DSP and various card stock. The little floral buttons are the Vintage Flower adornments from the Occassions Mini catalog. If you would like to make some of your own, click here to get the instructions. They are really quick and easy to make!

Pizza Box...

Sorry about the late post. I was feeling under the weather yesterday and didn't get around to posting anything until now. I wanted to share with all of you another pizza box, but this time I decorated it using my Bird of Paradise punch art. The sentiment is from the Fifth Avenue stamp set. Wishing you all a great week!

Cupcake Boxes...

Hope you all enjoyed your Easter celebrations! Here is the last of my Easter projects. Yesterday my daughters helped me to bake and decorate a batch of cupcakes for Easter. Then we whipped up these little cupcake boxes to deliver them in. I found the instructions for the boxes here. Really easy to follow, especially when you don't have much time on your hands... hehehe! Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Easter Baskets...

Here are some easter baskets that I finally put together last week with the help of my daughters. I used the Create-A-Critter cartridge for the characters and the Something to Celebrate stamp set. For the basket, I used the Fancy Favor die and scored the top portion to fold it down. The handles were created using the various cutouts from the Tasteful Trim die and attached using brads. The background on the front (although hard to see in this picture) was embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper and Perfect Polka Dots folders. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

A Talented Niece...

I'm sure you would all agree that my niece is very talented. You see, she drew each and every image that you see here in the photo. Amazing, huh? I love her "doodles" and asked her if she would mind if I used them in my cardmaking and she said yes! So to thank her, I decided to make her this shaker pizza box and 3x3 card set. I hope she likes it and continues to share more of her "doodles" with me!

Another Bird of Paradise...

I created another Bird of Paradise punch art and decorated a little panel to slip into this waterglobe. I don't remember exactly where I got this waterglobe, but I'm thinking maybe from Ben Franklin or even Wal-Mart. I've had it for a while and only now, decided to use it... lol! Thanks for all the "sweet" comments that you've been leaving me. It brings a smile to my face to know that you appreciate my work. Have a great weekend!

Punch Art Checkbook Covers & Photo Holders...

Here are some punch art checkbook covers and photo holders that I created for our upcoming Stamp Camp. Punches are another one of my favorites tools to use when creating a project. There are so much things you can create with a punch! The frog punch art is new and was inspired by my daughter's kero keroppi figurine. The other punch art are old time favorites of mines. Please enjoy your weekend!

Valentine's Day Treats...

I decorated these boxes and filled them with candy for my girls to give their hula sisters and for my hubby to give his co-workers. The stamp set is called Greeting Card Kids. The boxes that I used are actually from the Candy Countdown Calender Kit that SU was selling in their Holiday Mini catalog. It was one of those things that I bought with the intention to use it for Christmas and then forgot... lol! At least I found another use for these boxes instead of them sitting around for another year.

I decorated these boxes to give to some of the teachers at my girls' school. I used the big shot die to make these boxes and used the same stamp set. These boxes were filled with sweets and a decorated post-it note. Happy Valentine's Day!

Build-A-Bear is Back...

I dusted off my build-a-bear die and decided to create these cuties... BAB meets punch art! LOL! After putting these bears together, I added them to some notepads that I had covered previously. Wishing you all a fabulous weekend! Take care and be safe!

Magnetic Notepad...

While shopping at Wal-Mart, I came across this beautiful notepad. I just love the butterfly, flowers, and of course the colors. I bought it without knowing what I would do with it, but after staring at it for a while, my creative juices started flowing and this is what I came up with... a magnetic notepad with pen. The flowers are cut with one of my big shot dies and the background is made with one of my texture folders. The sentiment came from a book that was given to me by one of my good friends. I added some strips of magnets to the back so that the recipient could hang it on her refrigerator or something. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the outcome, especially knowing that when I first started I had no clue as to what I was going to create. Enjoy your weekend!
