It has since aired globally on National Geographic Channels worldwide in 171 countries and 38 languages. The new project will film in the Richmond, Virginia, area in 2013.
Governor McDonnell remarked, “I am so pleased that our recent visit with Scott Free Productions in Los Angeles will result in more jobs back here in Virginia. We appreciate our relationship with these clients, and look forward to welcoming them back to the Commonwealth.”
“It is an honor and pleasure to again work with NGC and Scott Free Productions,” commented Virginia Film Office director Andy Edmunds. “Their artistic vision, passion for authenticity and talented professional actors and crew always result in the best possible experience during filming and on the screen. Beck-O'Reilly 3:00 show cancelled in Norfolk
The Glenn Beck-Bill O'Reilly "Bold Fresh Tour" just seems to have trouble with its Norfolk appearance. First, they were snowed out in February when a huge blizzard hit Virginia. The show was rescheduled for today at 8:00. There was so much interest a 3:00 show was added for this afternoon.
A friend had tickets to the February show that was cancelled but was fine with the rescheduling on May 21. When the 3:00 show was added, she requested tickets for that and was told they would be at the "will hold" window.
She just called from I-64 heading back to the Valley. Disappointed, she and her husband showed up to pick up the tickets this afternoon and were told it had been cancelled. They were told there was a scheduling conflict and no tickets were left for the 8:00 show.
She was disappointed and they were stuck in that I-64 traffic when she called but she was her usual perky self and said it just wasn't meant to be. Too bad ... it probably would have been a pretty good show.

O'Reilly-Beck "Bold Fresh" tour in Norfolk postponed
The Bill O'Reilly-Glenn Beck "Bold Fresh" tour scheduled for tomorrow night, January 30, in Norfolk, Virginia, has been postponed due to the approaching winter storm bringing the potential of snow, ice, and other winter weather across the Commonwealth.
Glenn Beck announced the postponement on his radio show at about 10:30 Friday morning and said the tour would be rescheduled for Friday, May 21, 2010, at the same venue. A decision was made this far out so those traveling from other areas would have a heads-up instead of a last-minute cancelation.
Sure enough, local friends had planned to head to the beach area today and spend the entire weekend while taking in the O'Reilly-Beck appearance. They caught the announcement and are now unpacking their bags....

Did NYT kill ACORN story to protect Obama campaign?
As more investigate ACORN, the story unravels as those inside the organization come forward asking questions, as ACORN fires and pushes out whistle-blowers, and as others including conservative Fox News talk show hosts Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck ask questions.
There are claims that, just as the ACORN story was coming to the surface before the November 2008 election, it was suppressed to protect the election chances of Barack Obama.
Powerline reports today on the New York Times' denial in killing the story to protect Obama ... and how the denial appears to help prove the point that they possibly did have a hand in being sure a "game-changer" situation did not occur:
The many layers of ACORN ... stay tuned.

In today's New York Times, Public Editor Clark Hoyt reveals the result of his investigation into the charge that the paper killed a story during the 2008 Presidential campaign in order to help Barack Obama. Hoyt concludes that the claim is "nonsense."There are many questions about ACORN and it is a story waiting for an investigative reporter to pursue. Glenn Beck has been talking with ACORN insiders who have asked questions of their own and been thrown out ... people who were brave to come forward after beating their heads against a wall trying to find answers.
...
But the facts as related by Hoyt don't rebut the charge; they support it.

Fox News continues to crush opposition
Competing cable news outlets continue to bottom out while Fox News continues to soar. NewsMax has the latest:
MSNBC and CNN’s primetime news programs have suffered an incredible nosedive in ratings since Barack Obama was elected president, Newsmax has learned.Check out The Fox Nation for the latest news.
Ratings for “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” on MSNBC at 8 p.m. have plunged a dizzying 42 percent since October, shortly before the election. CNN’s 8 p.m. show, now being hosted by Roland Martin, has seen a 49 percent plunge over that time period, while “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News has dipped only 15 percent, according to Nielsen Media Research.
Bill O’Reilly’s 8 p.m. show remains the top-rated cable news program, averaging 2,650,000 million households per night in April, more than the combined totals for Olbermann’s program (938,000) and CNN’s 8 p.m. offering (613,000) — with more than a million households to spare.
In the key demographic of viewers 25 to 54 years old, Olbermann has lost 53 percent of his average nightly audience, a precipitous plunge. Rachel Maddow, who follows him at 9 p.m. on MSNBC, has lost an astounding 65 percent of her 25-to-54 audience since October, and her 819,000 households in April compare poorly to Sean Hannity’s 1,953,000 households on Fox.

Libs intimidate with threats against those who disagree with them
Advocates of "free speech" and "tolerance" don't practice what they preach
The liberal Left has perfected a form of intimidation to shut down debate and discussion with those who oppose them, a strategy that has worked well in the past. They intimidate by threatening advertisers, reputations, and careers on the national as well as local level.
One example of a topic with two extreme sides is global warming. While the Left advances their climate change agenda, those who disagree sometimes face dire consequences.
Look what happened to University of Virginia professor Patrick Michaels in August 2006. He had been the State Climatologist since 1980 until he ran up against the liberal agenda of global warming -- he dared to offer evidence debunking its existence -- and was asked by Democrat governor Tim Kaine to stop "misrepresenting" himself as the state's spokesman. Somehow the paperwork had disappeared in Richmond and the governor claimed there was no evidence Dr. Michaels had ever been appointed to such a position.
Dr. Michaels dared to go against the liberal agenda and was silenced by the Left.
In yet another case, a climate change skeptic had his career threatened by a global warming believer. As reported on Fox News on July 27, 2007:
In another example, Fox News' Bill O'Reilly questioned the appearance of democrat presidential candidates at the radical liberal blog Daily Kos' convention to be held this week. Daily Kos had been instrumental in pressuring those same candidates into canceling a debate on the Fox News Network last month by claiming Fox was a vehicle of the Right.
O'Reilly also exposed Jet Blue's corporate sponsorship of the Kos convention which resulted in Jet Blue pulling out of the deal and removing their advertising from the Kos website. O'Reilly and Fox News have now become targets for liberal activists.
Instead of backing down, O'Reilly is stepping up his investigation. He said:
Fox News dared to go against the liberal agenda and is being threatened and intimidated by the Left.
Daily Kos also recently banned anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan because she threatened to run a campaign against democrat Nancy Pelosi.
Former poster child Cindy Sheehan dared to go against the liberal establishment.
On a local level, one of the SWAC bloggers received a threatening comment on his blog a few days ago from a Valley liberal blog, one associated with Daily Kos. The comment said:
Threats are a way of preventing another blogger from speaking his opinion. This is an example of how MoveOn.org is filtering down to the local level through Daily Kos and others. By being affiliated with Kos they are amplifying its message and, in this case, extending its intimidating methods into the grassroots level of politics.
If anyone opposes the radical liberal agenda they will be targeted so to intimidate them into silence.
By avoiding civil discussion, differences between liberals and conservatives will continue to grow as politics becomes more polarizing in the future.

The head of the Environmental Protection Agency says he will investigate a threatening letter sent to a global warming skeptic by the head of a group advocating the use of renewable energy.Marlo Lewis dared to go against the liberal agenda and was threatened by the Left.
The Washington Times reports American Council on Renewable Energy President Michael Eckhart wrote to Competitive Enterprise Institute Senior Fellow Marlo Lewis, "It is my intention to destroy your career as a liar. If you produce one more editorial against climate change, I will launch a campaign against your professional integrity."

... if you go to RealClearPolitics.com, you can read a very perceptive article by Reid Wilson about the situation and why Hillary Clinton is showing up at the Kos convention despite the incredible hate on that Web site directed at her.In retaliation, Daily Kos, MoveOn.org, Campaign for America's Future, and other liberals are banning together to call for a boycott of Fox News' advertisers. As reported by Fox News:
In a nutshell, Mr. Wilson says that Senator Clinton and other Democrats fear the Web site. But we don't. And we don't hate them either. We just believe they're bad for the country and have proven our case beyond a reasonable doubt. Come Monday [July 30], the final nail, but it is disturbing so be forewarned.
Once a database is gathered, an organized phone-calling campaign will begin, said Jim Gilliam, vice president of media strategy for Brave New Films, a company that has made anti-FOX videosTheir strategy is to sign up thousands on the Left to put pressure on local and national advertisers at Fox, the fair-and-balanced TV network which offers representatives to debate both sides of an issue, unlike ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN.

Guess what? Your lying, punk ass is going to be featured on a major national blog this weekend. And I don't mean Daily Kos, and I ain't writing it. It's gonna [be] all about you, baby. Be thinking about that next time you cook up plans to take dives at airports, or vandalize your own candidate's signs. Elections are coming ... and [we] will be watching you.A local conservative blogger dared to speak out against the liberal agenda so intimidation in the hope of silencing him followed.

Jet Blue sponsors YearlyKos?
Fox News' Bill O'Reilly showed an interview on tonight's show with the CEO of JetBlue, backed up by a News Busters report, about JetBlue being a sponsor of YearlyKos, the second annual convention of the liberal lefty group. Wonder if JetBlue knew what DailyKos was....
