Time for another tablescape by Suz. Every May I set a mother's day table with my grandma's china ( we used it alot growing up) and my mother's tea cups. I get out my sterling silverware. I put mother's appreciation quotes in my place frames.Sometimes I even do my powder bathroom....haven't done it yet this year. It is fun for me to think of the great woman that have gone before me and all that I learned from them. My mom especially taught me to set a pretty table and I know she would approve. And be happy I was using my "stuff". I love and appreciate my mom and my grandma's so much. I love to think of them with warmth and great memories and will be so happy when I get to see them again someday. As hard as it is......It is truly a blessing and an honor to be a mother.

I love the way you honor your mother. You are the best! Now what yummy dish are you going to enjoy at that table? Is there anything your mom used to make that was tasty?
Grandma Jane had white china with a little pink flower on it.....we used it too. My mom made an awesome shrimp and crab salad with avocados..I think I will make it this month.
That is such lovely china--esp those teacups. Hopefully someone will use it to serve you a great meal on Mother's Day.
