Pillow - Unicorn

Tis needlepoint design was blocked and then sewn into a cushion with a mitered fabric front, zippered opening, and fringe trim.  The fabric is a heavy upholstery fabric which suits the design perfectly.  Design by Candace Bahouth.

Pillow - Dog

This needlepoint design has gold cording around the design (you can see the blue stitched border in part of the picture).  It has a mitered-corner fabric-framed front of blue denim, and brush fringe trim.  The back is blue denim with a zippered opening.

Pillow - Bargello

This needlepoint design was blocked and then sewn into a cushion with a zippered opening and loop fringe trim.  The backing is a dark red moleskin.  Traditional Florentine Bargello pattern stitched by myself.

Pillow - Bunnies Dancing

This needlepoint design is backed with two fabric frames of velveteen fabric. The green fabric frame is gathered to add detail to the design. Soft blue and green twisted cording accents the first frame. The pillow is trimmed in a matching multi-loop trim and backed in white satin moire fabric. It is zippered and stuffed with a down insert. Designer model for Tish Watkins.

Pillow - Turtle

This needlepoint design was blocked and then sewn into a pillow with knife-edge, zippered opening, and looped trim.  The canvas is trimmed with bias tape to prevent unraveling inside the pillow cover.  The backing fabric is a woven silk.  (Not quite as shiny as in the picture.)

Pillow - Beach Scene

This needlepoint design was blocked and then sewn into a fabric-framed front, knife-edge pillow.  It is zippered and accented with looped trim in shades of green and blue.  Note how the stripes match across the front and back of the pillow.

Pillow - Lemons

This needlepoint design was sewn into a knife edge pillow with a brush trim.  The upholstery-fabric backing was chosen by the customer.  The pillow is zippered and measures 18" across.  Design by Kaffe Fassett. 

Pillow - Irises

This needlepoint design is sewn into a knife-edge pillow.  It has a sewn-in ribbon loop trim, a zippered opening and blue upholstery backing. 

Pillow - Flowers with Brush Fringe

From this photograph I can see I will never again photograph on a dark background. Whoops! This is a great pillow - the textured background of the piece is echoed in the same-color-yellow/tan chenille fabric. There is twisted cording trim, green velveteen fabric frame, the chenille fabric frame, then a beautiful brush trim that matches the twisted cording and the leaves in the design. Design by Ewe and I.
