Flower Garden... ink on paper

Here's my new ink on paper work called  Flower Garden
It was completed over a week and was inspired by my garden.
This illustration also gave me the opportunity to try out my new carbon pen. (happy dance)

Happy New Year Everyone... I'm working on a shop that will purely be for ink work; no prints just originals. Its taken me two days of drawing just make the image for the front of the shop. But I'm happy with the way its turned out. Now all I have to do is make the artwork to put in it :-)

iPad finger drawing

My first finger-drawn iPad portrait, created using the simple free Adobe Ideas app.

The subject is my brother, I created the portrait for his birthday.

You're invited to sevensheaven.nl for an extended impression.

Miss Hippo testing the waters

Posted this image a while back as basic pen and ink lineart... finally got round to adding in some watercolours. Am quite happy how the posture and the toe in the water came out.

Not completely sure if this done or needs more work. Open to anyone's opinion. I created this with Prismacolor markers, Sharpie and ink pens.

Just west of Eden

This is a collaboration i did with Joe MacGown.

You can see more of his work here http://neogothic-jam.deviantart.com/
He made the underpainting and send this to me by e-mail. I started with inking it randomly for about 50% and mailed it to Joe and he finished it.

Full view is highly recommended.

More of my work you will find here on my DeviantaArt page or on Carbonmade

Bob Dylan

A short while back I began doing all my "inking" in Adobe Illustrator, and I have to say I've been really pleased with the results. Here's my rendition of Dylan.

Nuvo Byron

A personal project, and I couldn’t think of a name for it, but then my phone rang, and a man with a very posh voice asked, if I was interested in a commission. When I asked his name, he said it was Byron. I started to laugh, yep Byron, anyway here’s Nuvo Byron, inspired by Art Nouveau, Japanese koi and Fraudsters, maybe?

The Beautiful Breakdown

Influences include, Marcel Duchamp
and Transformers. I had to draw this in pieces and put it together in Illustrator. I need a bigger scanner.
