Just had photos done of a huge project I've worked on this year. It's a large scale permanent interactive environmental display for the new building, the Lightbox museum & gallery in Woking, UK, designed by Marks Barfield, the creators of the London Eye.
www.thelightbox.org.ukIt's a graphic lightbox covering a final area of 4800mm (w) x 2000mm (h). The content is based on what Woking is doing to support environmental issues/concerns within the city. The visitor is given a selection of push buttons with facts/questions that light-up specific activities within the illustration.
The illustration needed to closely represent the content and convey the identity of Woking and some of its key features. It was a very invoved & challenging project, with lots of design issues to resolve along the way. The artwork was drawn actual size in Adobe Illustrator, & as you can see, rather detailed!
