I'm a huge fan of the newest version of Doctor Who, so I thought it would be cool to illustrate the newest doctor (along with my favorite of his companions, Freema Agyema) as the cover to a classic comic book.

Portrait of Karellen from Childhood's End

I'm re-reading the book «Childhood's End» by Arthur C. Clarke. The story involves a peaceful and benevolent race of aliens coming to Earth, but refusing to be seen by humans beacause they resemble various archetypes of demons. It inspired me to do this pencil sketch of Karellen, the main alien character.
