this is so not my style, but wanted to give it a go, I really admire other people's mixed media creations!
Using a 6" x 6" canvas, adding some Gesso, then tissue paper with Mod Podge, loads of dies and heaps more Mod Podge.
The initial colouring was done using Copic markers and Air brush, the rest of the colouring was using Distress inks and distress inkers.
spritzing with colourless blending solution, some Huey's white mist and finally adding a sprinkle or 2 of frantage Shabby White embossing enamel!
making a HUGE mess in the craft room but it was so much fun!!!!

Well our retreat passed very quickly, I don't think I have seen so many craft supplies in (that weren't in a shop) all in one place!
I am sure you can believe that many remained untouched -lol!!
Of course there were giggles aplenty, chitter chatter, eating and even a little wine or two!
I didn't expect to get much done crafty wise and I certainly lived up to that expectation!!

The very Talented Michelle Lupton  generously agreed to sharing her Envelope punch board skills in a mini workshop.  Those that already had them were excited to be able to dust them off and use them and the ones who didn't bought them (hang my head in shame- I needed more stuff in the craft room!!!!)

Anyhoo, on the crafty stuff.....
I have been seeing so many gorgeous little 'Cards in a Box' out there in blog land and Pinterest, I had to give one a go!

I used this tutorial from Splitcoast stampers, so much fun to create!

Using the tutorial Irina posted on the La La Land Crafts blog this week for a Spring front/Accordian front card, you can check it out here

It is a fun card to play with, especially if you are continuing your challenge of using as many dies as possible on one card!!!  This week with all the extra surfaces to cover I have managed to squeeze in the dies from 27 sets, not quite as many I was hoping, but well on the way!
The challenge was to use a die from each of the sets to create a card, and if you have seen all the La La Land dies you know there are many, and for so many occasions.  I had to stop here or I would still be creating this card!

Sorry for the quality of the photos this week, having to resort to using the laptop for editing as the desktop is not co-operating with me!!
