The HitC Facebook page has reached 142 likes...only one new like in a week, so this is still work in progress...Easter obviously did not help, as I spent the holiday abroad...
What did you miss since my previous update:
The new single/track by Sleep Party People...
The debut track from new Danish duo Cancer...
Adrian Sieber going disco...
This wonderful track and video from Stærosaurus...

Not busy...just lazy...
Well actually I am a little busy (having the day off tomorrow, so need to get some shit done), but the real truth is that I am far too lazy to write anything of significant length...
Here's a fresh new track from 80's inspired synth-pop duo New Arcades. As usual it sounds fine and all that, but still waiting for them to hit that home run.
To any diehard fan of Richard Hawley (like me) the debut album Softly, Softly by Sheffield band The Hosts should be just perfect (to me it most certainly is)! Gave it three spins yesterday and it pretty much blew me away!
Not really music related in any way, but thought I'd share that last night I finished reading Hundraåringen som klev ut genom fönstret och försvann (The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared) by Swedish author Jonas Jonasson. Why worth sharing? Because it's arguably the funniest book I've ever read!
My inbox tells me that SXSW is coming up...checking...sure enough!
Everything I've heard so far from Norwegians Making Marks has been just lovely, so seriously need to check out the debut album A Thousand Half-Truths...they'd be a pretty good fit for Copenhagen Popfest too, me thinks!
In need of a healthy dose of vitamin D? Then check out this wonderful and very summerly video by Adrian Sieber for Hurts So Good...reminds me that we haven't booked (or even planned) a holiday for this summer! Italy perhaps?

Shine on...
Adrian Sieber has teamed up with fellow Swiss singer Nadia Leonti and together the duo has recorded this really lovely cover (and slightly more "polished" version than the original) of House of Love's Shine On. Mailed to me with a Merry Christmas, a permission to share and (if I like) "gift-wrap" it...the later virtually impossible in this time and age (though it is right there below free to download), but sharing it I certainly will and with this post hopefully returning the Christmas greeting!

Three quick ones...
Ta!; the previously mentioned Northern Portrait compilation album is out today. Been told that my copy will ship today, so hopefully it'll arrive before Christmas? Included on the album is the band's (how I wish it was) Christmas evergreen Leave The Trees Alone...
I Am Noxious has posted a couple of snippets of new tracks on Facebook. Great that new stuff is in the making, but it's virtually impossible to get any idea of what the new tracks will sound like! Meanwhile (the new songs should be ready early next year) check out this almost "legendary" cover of I Gotta Feeling...
My favorite Swiss artist (Lovebugs frontman) Adrian Sieber, has a new nice track out called Hurts So Good (no - not a John Cougar cover).
