FSJ sponsored Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to a very special blog hop where Fun Stampers Journey is collaborating with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog! Yay! There's a $25 gift Certificate to FSJ up for grabs to one lucky winner! Be sure to check out the FSJ blog for all the details.

I have a fun card and coordinating gift card holder to share and I used some of my favorite things on these (hello Fashion Silver, come to mama!). The stamp set is Coffee Helps (and has coordinating dies) and the photo die frame is from the Snapshot Frames die set. I lightly colored the coffee cups with our Pan Pastels, this is a quick way to add some light color. A couple swipes and done!
The "thanks" die cut word is from the Designer Frames die set. Using the words separate from the frame part is a great way to get more out of this set.

The coordinating gift card holder is made with the Gift Card Sleeve die and is quick and easy to make. I added a little black silk, some coordinating cardstock and Deco Strips in black
Instead of stamps, I used the Coffee First die set. It's a stand alone set of 8 dies that has 2 cup sizes, 2 lids, and 2 sleeves options, a straw and a little tea bag tag! SO CUTE and the scale is perfect for cardmakers!
Check out the Journey Glaze over the lid! It's perfect to give it a plastic look.
The gift card sleeve measures 2.5" x 3.75".
For more info on the Gift Card Sleeve die, you can check out the FSJ Product Spotlight video I did. All my videos are over on the FSJ YouTube channel in the Product Spotlight playlist. This video is short, just over 3 minutes, here's a direct link: Gift Card Sleeve video
Now it's time to hop. Your next stop is the talented Mariana Grigsby, but if you just joined be sure to start at the top of the list at the FSJ blog for all the prize details!

SCS Featured Stamper challenge -Get Your Kicks

Hi everyone!  Long time no blog.  I've been beyond busy with working on the BRAND NEW FSJ 2017-2018 catalog and then preparing for Convention.  Crazy I tell ya!  But today it's over 100 degrees here in Portland, so I stayed indoors all weekend.  I found some time to play in the SCS Featured Stamper challenge.  For those of you new to SCS FS challenge, each Sunday a new stamper is chosen and we are challenged to peruse their gallery and pick a card to CASE.  Such fun!  This week the stamper is AJ Bodine and she has a lovely gallery.  Details to the challenge can be found here.

Anyway, my card uses the stamp set Hit the Road.  I've only used this cute set one time and it fit perfectly for AJ's Christmas card I chose to CASE which can be found here.
I colored the truck with Pan Pastels (the Mother Nature set).  It was so quick and easy, I'll have to remember to color this way more often.  I will say it is a bit powdery and can smear, but never fear -it cleans up easily with a white eraser.  And if you hit it with a quick shot of hairspray when you're finished, it will be set in place!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening!  Here's a close up picture:
