Natures Journey Catchup

Hello to my stitchalong friends...a bit of an update for you all, and to keep Chookys whip away...lol!!

March blocks...

I'm getting better as I go along with this needle turn technique, or so I thought 'til I got to the points on the pieced block!!!

Loving this pear block :)
The next lot are the April blocks...the diamond star block was a challenge, my centre is not as tidy as I'd like!

April....

Probably my favourite block so far...

Have a lovely day!! Cool one here have had around 3" of rain this month everything is beautifully green and muddy!! Better than the red dust though :) Will update with next two months blocks this week...Cheers, Suze.

March done

With only a few hours to spare I'm done.

Spotted those tiny bottons at my local dealer.
They just had to go in the jar.

Happy Easter.

March done!

This was a lovely project as it was small but also makes up such a special little pin cushion. Lovely to see all the different colours. I had some fabrics left over from the little project bag in the book and used those with a few other favourites.

Greetings from Finland: March's Goal is Reached

Tadaa!!!

There they are my first ones for TTS.
Because I have earlier stitched Christmas Joy block, I replaced Tis the Season with it. I'll do it in June.

I'm embroidering with Atalie's hand-dyed thread. I'm absolutely pleased with it, but yet I wanted little bit more intense to the blocks.

So I stitched the stars of 'Bon Noel Birdies' block with DMC's yellow and gold (1 strand of both colour).

Now they slightly glitter...

Stop wishing March away you guys!

This photo (poorly taken photo even!) is to prove that I can stitch! I just haven't yet! All the March finishes I am seeing here are making me worry a little. Maybe I won't be able to do this stitch along! I actually started hyperventilating............

............. and then promptly stopped. It's the 6th of March and I have tonnes of time left! Phew! You overachievers are muddying the waters. I still have 25 days left. I'm good. Just pacing myself. Hopefully some others pacing themselves will leave reassuring comments here for me. Please?

PS (I'm not really upset with you guys who are posting finishes. I am loving them all. Keep up the good work! Slackers like me need LOTS of encouragement!)
