1st SAL.....Peg, Dale and I committed to stitching Anni Downs - A Gardener's Journal in March. 3rd SAL....many girls want to stick with the SAL so now we have moved onto Anni Downs Some Kind of Wonderful - My Favourite Things Quilt.......Oct 2011-Oct 2012.........
Where are we now.....
4th SAL 2013...is numerous smaller projects from the previous 2 books Tis the Season and Some Kind of Wonderful plus some projects from Red Home by Natalie Bird approx 60 ladies stitching together.........

5th SAL 2015..........inspired to continue we are doing another quilt project.....Anni Downs newest quilt Natures Journey.....
6th SAL 2017.............A Holly Cottage Christmas by Michelle Ridgway.......once again the pattern is in an affordable book so it is easy for everyone to join in...........and you can raid your stash for the fabrics........or lash out and buy a the whole lot........this SAL will be run by Fiona aka Bubz Rugz and Raewyn........

Another block and a special present
Another Block Done & Dusted
Now on to some special stitching
My dear friend that I work with is leaving and changing jobs
She loved the fabrics I used in the cushion that I recently made for my Friends In Stitching Swap Partner, so instead of making the same cushion I thought I'd use this Best Friends block and turn it into a cushion for her. Looks something like us "Dancing" :)Monday, May 7, 2012
Wish my garden was looking this good
I'm still here
Very busy with work and life in general but I'm still managing to get some SAL stitching time. Just wish it was as easy to get my garden looking so good. I'm so far behind with my blogging too, I will catch up with everyone soon.

I will join in soon I promise
I've just had the joy of browsing the blog and admiring everyone's work or either Gardener's Journal or Tis The Season and of course now Some Kind of Wonderful.
I'm still busy with work and now the Christmas rush so I'm saving all my stitching for after Christmas while I'm relaxing on Holidays :)
I've been admiring everyone's needleturn but noticed a few are still appliqueing with blanket stitch so that is what I'm going to go with too....
I love blanket stitch appliqueing and as I have time restraints through the year, i think this would be easier for me than learning a new technic.
Keep up the good work everyone and I look forward to catching up on my sewing soon.

Another Quilt Top finished for the Group
Donna can you please mark me off as completing my quilt top.
With work committments slowing down now, I've had the pleasure of getting back to my sewing machine.
The borders have been attached with a little green peeper to break it up. I've got a lot of left over fabrics so I think I will make a scrappy border once I get back to the quilting. I've also got some more blocks stitched that I want to turn into a little Xmas hanging.
