Steampunk Folder for Canvas Corp Brands

Hello all, nice to have you here today!
I recently made a new altered folder, using loads of paints and mists from Canvas Corp Brands.
To alter my chipboard cogs and gears I used the Naturally Aged Kit - Bronze Patina. Loved it! I also made a video tutorial, you can find it here.

Layout "Picture Perfect" for C´est Magnifique in March

Hallo zusammen, schön, dass ihr reinschaut! Heute möchte ich euch mein zweites Layout für C´est Magnifique im März zeigen. Hier habe ich ein Foto von meinem Töchterchen verwendet. Besonders schön finde ich den Chipboard Ast .
Hello all, nice to have you here today! I want to share my second layout for C´est Magnifique in March with you. It is a springery one with a photo of my beloved daughter. The chipboard branch is so very beautiful, isn´t it?

from my stash: ecoline liqut watercolors, gesso clear and white, embossing powders, cardstock leftovers, stencil and gel medium, stamps, ink and dies

Ich habe damit angefangen, die Seite mit Clear Gesso einzustreichen (von beiden Seiten, dann wellt sich das Papier nicht so). Als nächstes habe ich die Buchseiten aus dem Kit in Schnipsel gerissen und aufgeklebt. Danach durch eine Schablone Gel Medium auftragen und trocknen lassen, im Anschluss mit Ecoline watercolors Farbe colorieren, genauso wie die ausgestanzten Blüten. Danach kamen der schöne Chipboard Ast und die Schmetterlinge dran. Beides habe ich mit unterschiedlichen Embossingpulvern überzogen. In die Mitte der kleinen Körbchen noch eine Blüte und eine Halbperle setzen um das Ganze zu vervollständigen. Das Foto habe ich unterlegt und noch ein paar von den Holzzierteilen aufgeklebt.
I started by coating the paper with clear gesso, then I glued scraps of the book pages from the kit, added gel medium through a stencil and coloured the dried background with ecoline watercolors, as I did with the diecut flowers. The beautiful chipboard branch and butterflies I heat embossed with different embossing powders. To the middle of the hanging baskets I added diecut flowers and embellished them with pearls from the kit. Gorgeous are also the wooden embellishments!

C'est Magnifique Mixed Media Techniques and Tutorials Challenge

Hallo zusammen, schön, dass ihr vorbeischaut! Heute habe ich etwas Besonderes für euch! Bei C´est Magnifique gibt es eine neue Challenge. Es ist eine Mixed Media Challenge, bei der ihr ein Technikthema vorgegeben habt. Diesmal: Stencil Bump. Ihr könnt machen, was immer ihr mögt. Entweder ein Layout, eine Leinwand,eine Karte, etwas Verschönern, ..... was auch immer. Ihr müsst nur die Regeln beachten. Einfach, was? Vielleicht habt ihr ja Lust mitzumachen!
Ich habe zwei Beispielkarten und ein Technik Video gemacht, viel Spaß beim Anschauen!

How does it work and what are you asked to do? Every month we will ask you to use a Mixed Media Technique, special art supplies, ......... well, stay curious, what we will bring you in future! We will show you a Technique Tutorial so you can easily imitate on your project.

And the best of all, it is an Anything Goes Challenge! That means you can create, whatever your heart desires - create a layout, canvas, card, altered project, OTP project, art journal page.......... whatever you want! Of course you can combine our challenges, you only have to follow the rules.

It´s really fun and easy, isn´t it?

Stifteschachtel in Blau - Pencil Case in Blue

Hallo ihr Lieben, schön, dass ihr bei mir vorbeischaut!
Gestern habe ich mal wieder meinen Basteltisch gründlich aufgeräumt und dabei ist mir eine Stifteschachtel, die ich vor längerer Zeit einmal angefangen hatte zu verschönern, in die Hände gefallen. Vor über einem Jahr hatte ich schon einmal eine verziert, wer mag, kann sie sich hier ansehen. Irgendwie hatte mir damals diese nicht mehr gefallen, jedenfalls habe ich sie nie fertig gemacht.
Das Schächtelchen war schon ganz gut vorbereitet: innen mit Papier ausgekleidet, mit blauer Farbe bemalt und mit Antiquing Cream bearbeitet. Auf dem Deckel waren außerdem schon Papierstreifen aufgeklebt und mit einer Schablone und modeling paste ein Muster aufgebracht. Was mir nicht gefiel, ich hatte mit brauner Sprühfarbe noch farbliche Akzente gesetzt. Was für ein Glück, dass es Gesso gibt ;-)
Nach einer großzügigen Schicht weißem Gesso habe ich nun blaue Sprühfarben aufgebracht - besser.
Der Deckel wurde nun reichlich mit Embellishments und Blumen verziert, darunter drei Schreibfedern, die neuen Zahnräder und der extra dicke Cabochon mit Metallrahmen von LaBlanche.Indianerperlen, Glitter und weiße Spritzer aus verdünntem Gesso runden das Ganze ab. So, aber nun genug geschrieben, hier ist mein Stifteschächtelchen:

Hello lovelies, a warm welcome to my blog!Yesterday, when I tidied my craft table thoroughly a pencil case, which I had begun to alter some time ago, was fallen into my hands. About one year ago I did another one, if you like, it can be viewed here. Somehow I didn´t like this anyway, I didn´t make it ready.The little box was quite well prepared: lined with paper, painted with blue paint and with Antiquing Cream. On the cover strips of paper were already glued and coated with a stencil and modeling paste. What I did not like, I had set with brown spray paint still colorful accents. Lucky to have Gesso ;-)After a generous layer of white gesso I now applied blue mist - better.The cover has been richly decorated with embellishments and flowers, including three pen nips, the new gears and the extra thick Cabochon with metal frame from LaBlanche. Glas beads, glitter and white splashes of diluted gesso round off the whole thing. Well, but now written enough, here's my pencil case:
