OBG, Kick Cancers Butt!

Hello, it's Oldie but Goodie day over on the  Catch The Bug blog, and today I've used Pink Ribbon Gals - Stella from Bugaboo Stamps.

I made this card for our Niece Alicia who was just diagnosed with ovarian and cervical cancer. The ribbon colour for that kind it teal, so I used teal/turquiose colors.

I coloured the image with copics and added some crystal effects and tiny gems.

The card base is tempting turquoise with a layer of designer paper from DCWV girl stack. I also embossed the purple piece with the love language embossing folder and finished it off with a shimmery heart.

ABC, 2 Litre Bottle Savings Challenge!

Hello, this may be old news to some, but I recently came across a 2 Litre bottle savings challenge. I've seen a couple different totals, but the idea is if you save your dimes in a 2 litre bottle you should end up with somewhere between $500 - $800 when full! Isn't that a great way to save for a vacation!

So I decorated an empty 2 litre bottle (still a bit wet inside)! lol I used the Stella Vacation from Bugaboo Stamps and I cut the sentiment in half and only used the top part! I coloured the image with copics.

The paper band is from DCWV summer stack, and I used it as a guide to picking my colours. Super easy project! This would even be great for the kids to do, pick something they want to save for, choose an image from Bugaboo Stamps that reflects the end goal and decorate away!

OBG, Stella Nursing - It Won`t Hurt!

It`s Oldie But Goodie today and at Catch The Bug, so today I used Stella Nursing - It Won`t Hurt, from Bugaboo Stamps.

My Niece, who just got married on May 2nd, had to have her appendics removed (suddenly) this past week, so I made this for her.

The card base is real red, with a layer of designer paper. I embossed the white strip with a Hearts embossing folder and used a spellbinders die (tags & flags) for the rickrack.

Stella was coloured with copics, I added tiny gems for earrings and crystal effects to the needle and her glasses.

I also used the Feeling Sketchy #121 which Bugaboo Stamps is Sponsoring this week!

It's a Bingo Challenge this week!

This weeks Saturday Challenge at Catch The Bug is a Bingo Challenge! I chose the bottom row, die cut, sentiment, border.

For my card today, I used Pink Ribbon Gals-Stella from Bugaboo Stamps. I changed the sentiment (I have this image in stamp form from Totally Stampalicious, which is no longer open)
I coloured the image with copics and the razzleberry markers from SU, and I added tiny pearls as earrings. The sign was cut out & popped up. I also sponged all the edges with Tim Holtz antique linen.
The designer paper is from My Minds Eye Lost & Found Blush. The little heart was made with the Fashionable Hearts sizzlets die and glimmer paper.
I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSSC268.

Please join in the Bingo Challenge and upload your creation to the Catch The Bug Blog. You can also fnd lots for samples there from the Design Team.

OBG, Pink Ribbon Gals - Stella!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie day at Catch The Bug, and today I'm using one of the Pink Ribbon Gals - Stella, from Bugaboo Stamps.

My sign is different from the digi, because I had this image in stamp form when I was with Totally Stampalicious (which has since closed) and it came with different sentiments. I coloured Stella with copics, and paper pieced her dress.

The card base is marina mist, with designer paper from Basic Grey Soleil. I also added some little rhinestone earrings and bling on the bottom!

TSMONDAY, Anything But A Card!

Hello, this weeks Totally Stampalicious Monday Challenge is to make anything but a card! That should be pretty easy with Christmas coming, since it's a great time for gift card holders, treats etc.

For my project today, I altered one of those coupon holders you can get at Michaels in the $ section! I should have taken a before picture, but of course I forgot! This was SO easy, all I did was pick Christmas paper that matched the blue inside, and just glued it on top. There was an orange  elastic cord that wrapped around to keep it closed, so I took that out and added a silver one.

This is the new Stella Psycho, I coloured her with copics and added some liquid applique to her hat & glued some glitter on it. The sentiment is just one in the set. I stamped it on a tag made with the CuttleBug tiny tags die. I added the sentiment tag & the ribbon to the cording.
Here's the inside. I made one for each of our girls, Hubby & others, where I can put their lists, plus a section for receipts and coupons! These would make a good gift, and they're fast & inexpensive to make!

Please join us in our challenge, and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog! Remember if you use a Totally Stampalicious image the prize is doubled!
