Hidee Ho all you good stampers out there! It's time for another Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge and this week it's a sketch provided by the wonderful and fun new addition to our krafting family, Pam Varnell. Check out her blog, her work is amazing!!Anyway, my card is quite simple, I think it's close enough to the sketch. I had a couple of Sympathy cards to make this week and I thought the sketch would work well for one of them. I used Very Vanilla card stock and some gold crafting paper. I heat embossed the beautiful flower, which was created by our own very talented Emilie Goulet and it's in the gorgeous Sympathy Set, which comes with several lovely verses and sentiments to go with the flower. I used 'Thinking Of You In Your Time Of Loss'.
I made a 6x6 card base in V. Vanilla and added a strip of the same colour, which I first embossed with my Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. I made a border with the gold paper, then I cut out the flower with my circle Nesties and then I used a Scalloped Nesties to cut out a gold frame for the circle layer. I then added the sentiment, again on V. Vanilla and framed with gold. I just added a gold bow and there you are.
