I am always looking forward to the Gina K Designs Member Blog Hop as it is the best way to get inspired and see what other crafters are creating with the same stamp sets :) Love it.
December Blog Hop from Gina K Designs was to create a card or scrapbook page using the latest December Release set. You can read all about it, and link your own projects and also get some inspiration - here.
Here is my card. I used Theresa's Life is Good set and tried to create a winter scene and I personally loved how it came out. I kept it simple and clean. :)
I colored the image very lightly with Copic Markers to give it a weathered cabin look and then added some Y11 on the windows for the light effect. I also dotted the Trees and shrubs with some green to give an illusion of green shrubs and trees covered with snow. Of course star dust stickles to give the snow effect.
Supplies:
Stamp - GKD Life is good Designed by Theresa Momber
Paper - GKD Cardstock - Fresh Asparagus, Ivory and Generic Red CS
Ink - Memento Brown and Copics
Other - Stickles, SU Word Window Punch

Mass Produced Holiday Cards
Hello All, I have not participated in challenges this past week. Have been busy with Holiday cards and preparing my handmade Holiday gifts etc :) So, I wanted to share some of the holiday cards that I mass produced and the inspiration for them :) So, please bear with my long post.
1) Seasons Greetings and Peaceful Poinsettia Cards- These cards were inspired by Nichole Heady's cards and here is the link where she gave instructions on all the details for mass producing these cards.
I changed a few things on these, but kept the overall theme same. I made like 10 cards of these and it was so easy to do with the instructions.
2)There was a challenge on Stamp TV to create cards with partial cuttlebug embossing...So again, I felt this was so easy to mass produce and you can always change the focal image - which is what I did with the two cards here :) One has two punched snowflakes and the other one has a stamped snow flake.
These are also good for emergency cards. If you have the embossed sheet done and then put the ribbon and mount it on card base, then if you need a card in emergency, just put the focal image and a sentiment and you are ready to go. You can even leave a bit more space for the sentiment and you can punch out a bunch of sentiments and keep it ready :)
3) I made this card with PTI Warm Happiness set inspired by Mish Mash's card as shown here. I did not have the exact sentiment set etc and so I improvised :)
4) This card was inspired by one of the mass producing ideas from Nichole in this post. I used the Festive Cards Idea by Niki Estes, but replaced it with another image that I had. But I used all the cutting measurements that she had mentioned along with the new Rustic Snowflakes paper from PTI.
5) This card was inspired by Sharon Johnson (No Time to Stamp Blog). She had mentioned on how to utilize a 6x6 paper completely so that there is no wastage to mass produce the cards. I used her technique, but instead of the cutting it at 4 1/4 as she has mentioned, I cut it at 4 as I was using another layer on the card base. Here is her post that talks about it. I used the new Dear Santa Designer Paper from Kaisercraft.
I also used the new justrite stamps - square border and merry Christmas sets, embossed it and did a mass production. It was quite fun.
6) Last but not the least - I did this card using the Warm and Wonderful card kit from Jessica Fick sold on Gina K Designs. I purchased some extra paper and I had this stamp set as well, So instead of the 4 cards, I ended up making 10 cards. I had to substitute a different snowflake as the kit came only with 4, but still it was lots of fun.
So these are my mass produced cards this year and it was lots of fun doing it. Thanks for your patience :)

I used the PPA 17 Sketch along with Just Us Girls Week 8 Color Throw down - which was to use Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, and Bashful Blue. I did not have those exact colors, but substituted with what I thought was closest to those.

Gina K. Designs November Blog Hop
A very first Gina K Designs Customer Blog Hop. I am of course super thrilled to be part of this. :) I love their stamp sets and this is a great opportunity to see all the beautiful creations that can be done from their latest release. You can go to Gina's blog and add a link to you blog so we can admire and get some eye candy.
For my card, I used the latest StampTV Kit - Holiday Cheer. I have to say I love this set. Has versatile set of images and the possibilities are endless. The only thing stopping me is TIME :)
This image from Holiday cheer set is so much fun to color with Copics and is very forgiving also :)
Here is my card.
I also did this card for Copic Color Challenge #40. The challenge was to use the colors RV23 (Pure Pink), YR04 (Chrome Orange) and YG06 (Yellowish Green). I did not have YG06, so used YG09 instead and used RV25 instead of RV23.
I also used Unscripted Sketch #31 for this card.

Paper - Basic Grey Blitzen Collection, PTI Enchanted Evening and White CS
Ink - Memento Black, Memento Bahama Blue, Copics

Altered Notepads for Christmas Gifts
I wanted to share some of the Notepads that I have been doing as Christmas gifts for some of my friend's daughter's :) I need to do one Masculine also for my friend's son. Had forgotten about it.
I used the Junior Legal Pad from Staples and got it cut into half. It has been so much fun doing these :)
Some tips from my side,
1) I attached the notebook to the cardstock using scortape (or any double sided tape). It felt easier for me to put the scoretape on the card stock and then attach the notepad than the other way. :)
2) It was easier to get a few notepad fronts done as designing is only involved there. Then you can mass assemble the notepads because then you just have to score and attach :)
3) I cut my Card stock to 8x5 1/4. And to make the scoring easier, I put it on scorpal and scored it at 2.5 and then turned it around and again scored it at 2.5. This gave me a perfect 1/4 inch spine.
Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Take a Note, PTI Damask Designs
Ink - PTI Raspberry Fizz, PTI Dark Chocolate, PTI Scarlett Jewel
Paper - PTI DP, BG Eskimo Kisses DP, PTI Kraft, Ocean Tides, Sweet Blush, Dark Chocolate, Raspberry Fizz, White CS
Other - PTI Ribbon, PTI Buttons, Circle Punches, Generic Gemstones.

Copic Color Challenge #39
Copic Color Challenge #39 was to use the Colors G05 (Emerald Green), R29 (Lipstick Red), Y08 (Acid Yellow).
I wanted to try out some new Digital Stamps :) to use with Copic Markers. That is how I found out about Squigglefly. They have some real neat images. I bought this image April Showers from them and it was so much fun coloring with copics. There were minor mishaps with ink smearing....but overall...it was fun.
Here is my card,
I did not have G05. So, I used a combination of G02 and G09. I added some stickles to the Rain drops.
Here is the copic color chart,
Supplies:

Paper - Basic Grey Lemonade Collection, Generic Card base, GKD Pure Luxury 120lb white CS

I did not have G05. So, I used a combination of G02 and G09. I added some stickles to the Rain drops.
Here is the copic color chart,
Supplies:
Stamp - April Showers - Digital Stamp from Squigglefly
Paper - Basic Grey Lemonade Collection, Generic Card base, GKD Pure Luxury 120lb white CS

Holiday Cards
I wanted to share some Holiday cards that I have been working on. So, sorry in advance for the long post :)
1) I found this real cute ginger bread man stamp in Michael's dollar stamp bin. I had not bought PTI's Holiday Button bits stamp set but have been ogling all the neat cards made from that set and this stamp reminded of the gingerbread man from that set. So here is my card from that stamp,
It is not as cute as the image from PTI Set, but still was a fun card to make.
Supplies:
Stamp - Generic Gingerbread Man stamp
Paper - Fa La La Collection from Making Memories, Generic Card Stock Base, GKD Pure Luxury 120lb White CS, PTI Smokey Gray CS
Ink - Memento Brown
Other - Generic Golden Satin Ribbon, Nestabilities, Buttons
2) This is the card that I did for the Squigglefly Monday Sketch Challenge. They have a new challenge on their blog every Monday. I also used another Digital stamp from Squigglefly. This is their latest release - Mr. Snowman. There are some wonderful samples out there with this stamp. I kept my card pretty simple.
Here is the sketch,
Supplies:
Stamp - Mr.Snowman - Digital Image from Squigglefly
Paper - Fa La La Collection from Making Memories, GKD Pure Luxury 120lb CS, GKD Metallic Gold Paper, Generic Card Base
Ink - Copics
Other - Nestabilities
3) The last card I am sharing uses a stamp image from Gina K Designs StampTV Kit - Holiday Cheer and it also uses a technique called Split Negative - showcased by Gina on StampTV. Here is a link to the video that has the tutorial for this technique. Mine of course has not come out as Gina has showed..but I am quite happy with the outcome considering this is the first time I am doing it.
I used the bow easy (sold at Gina K Designs) to create this beautiful double looped bow. I cannot tell you how easy it was and how professional and neat it looks. This is one of the best purchases I have made. Gina also has a tutorial on how to use the bow easy on stamptv.
Supplies:
Stamp - GKD Holiday Cheer StampTV Kit
Paper - GKD Black, GKD Metallic Gold CS, Martha Stewart Christmas DP, Generic Card Base
Ink - Versamark
Other - Black and Gold Embossing Powder, Generic Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Nestabilities
THANKS for your patience and for looking. :)
