Let's Get Our Verve On

Hello and happy Thursday. I have a card to show you today that I made for this past Monday's MOJO Sketch MOJO126. I used the Verve set Beautiful You to create my card. You have to read the sentiment I used on my card because this is exactly how I feel about my hubby. He is the absolute love of my life and I don't know what I would do without him. OK, here is my card using the Basic Grey Ambrosia Paper Pack.

Buttons, Brads and Bows .... Oh My!!!

Welcome back to my blog this morning and how are you today? It's time for Jacksonbelle's Tuesday Challenge and our challenge today, JBE091, is called "Buttons, Brads and Bows......Oh My!!" You can use one, two or all three on your card. I chose to use a button (with a bow). I used some of the new Basic Grey Nook & Pantry paper on my card and a new stamp set from Verve called Love's Flower. Basic Grey paper can be found at the Jacksonbelle store. I used Monday MOJO Sketch Challenge MOJO124 for the layout of my card. Here it is...........

Verve-ified Flutter By Wednesday

Hello and happy Wednesday. It's time for another Flutter By Wednesday FBW93 and our challenge today is to use embossing on your card or project. It can be dry embossing, glitter embossing, faux embossing, etc. You will also need to have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your card to qualify for the challenge. Well, after using my Verve set Budding Blossoms for the first time yesterday I just couldn't wait to use it again. I also used a sentiment from the Verve set Forever in Our Hearts because I needed a Sympathy card. I used this week's Monday Mojo Sketch MOJO122. The image and sentiment are both stamped with Black Brilliance ink and EMBOSSED with clear embossing powder. Here is a pic of my card.........

Here a Bling, There a Bling, Everywhere a Bling Bling

Hello and happy Tuesday again. It's time to Bling in the New Year with a Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday Challenge. Today's challenge, JBE088, is all about the bling baby. If you have been to my blog before then you KNOW how I love bling anywhere and everywhere on my card. I have lots of great Jacksonbelle Embellishment store goodies on my card today. For the bling I have used round crystals from the Zva Creative, Crystal Wheel. The stamps Lucy Bird Flower Swirls and Blossom (sentiment) are both from Imaginisce. And last, but not least, is the beautiful, bright and fun patterned paper also from Imaginisce called Lucy Bird 12x12 Paper Pack. Here is my card...........

Heidi With Ornament and MOJO

Hello and happy Thursday. It's just one more day until Garrett is out for Christmas break. I can't believe it is so close to Christmas, can you? Where has this year gone? It has officially been eleven months now since I quit my job outside the home. The best thing I ever did in my life. Our home and family life is so much happier now. I do miss the paycheck sometimes but I would much rather have this time home with my family.

I have a card for you today's using this Monday's MOJO117 challenge. I have used Swiss Pixie's Heidi With Ornament and Sugarplums Bench (different image from the Sugarplums Park Bench I used on Tuesday) from C.C. Designs, another cutie. Love the way she is holding on to that ornament with dear life. Here is my card........

Hello and happy Wednesday. It's time for another Flutter By Wednesday card and our challenge this week is to make a Winter Themed card using a Butterfly, a Fairy or an Angel. I used Santa Birgitta Swiss Pixie from C.C. Designs for my card and the layout is using this past Monday's MOJO Challenge MOJO116. I added LOTS of bling to my card this week, especially glitter. I just wanted to add lots of sparkle. Oh, BTW, I just adore this image I used on my card today. Isn't she a sweetie pie? Here it is.......

Winter Fairy and a Big Announcement

Hello and happy Wednesday. I have a wonderful announcement to make friends. I am now a Design Team Member for Danni's Flutter by Wednesday's. Thank you so much Danni for having me as part of your team. I am truly honored to have been chosen and I am so excited to be working with some wonderful and talented ladies.

Today's Flutter by Wednesday challenge is "open" so you can create any kind of card that you would like but you must have either a BUTTERFLY, a FAIRY, or an ANGEL to qualify for the challenge. I made two cards and used more of the Fairies that we are previewing this week from The Greeting Farm. The first card is using Winter Fairy and the second card (which was previewed on The Greeting Farm blog yesterday) is using Autumn Fairy. MOJO Sketch

Hello again. I made this card earlier in the week for this past Monday's MOJO Sketch MOJO109 and for some reason forgot to put it on my blog. Yeah, that happens sometimes. You may have already seen it on the Club Anya blog. Here it is ..........

This is another one of the images I colored while we were on our camping trip. I also used some ribbon I have had for a while but have never put on a card. It's black organdy twisted with small white pearls wrapped around. It adds a nice touch, doesn't it?

I used lots of bling in the form of Pearl Accents. Can I just tell you how much I like this card and it's not my normal style. I mostly do cutsie cards but sometimes it's fun to do something else. MOJO Turns 100 - Day 5

This is my submission for Verve's Mojo Turns 100 - Day 5 sketch. Thought I would try a different color scheme that is totally "not me" but I really like how it turned out. The main image panel has the background stamped very lightly with Going Gray and then the sentiment is stamped with Black Brilliance Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder to make it pop. What do you think?

MOJO96 - Fairy Tales

This is my submission for last week's Verve sketch MOJO96. I didn't get this card done before Mr. Linky closed so I will post the link in a comment on the MOJO blog. I used the set Fairy Tales from Verve Stamps while my friend Mercy was over stamping with me yesterday. I think she has every stamp set Verve makes. LOL!! I saw this color combo (Melon Mambo, Basic Black and White) in the new SU catty and loved it so I just had to use it when I made this card. I have no designer paper on this card, can you believe it? I also distressed the edges of the 3 long panels and I never do that either. I like clean lines on my cards but I was trying to go out of the box on this card. I hope you like it.
