Hello, this is for today's MOJO sketch MOJO87. I used Fins Riley from Hanna Stamps. Doesn't he look like he is ready to take a swim? Well, the pool has been opened. If only the water were a little warmer. LOL!!

If you need any specifics on the card please email me and I'll be happy to answer any questions. I'm going to start listing all the ingredients for the card at the end of my post. If I do a technique that is out of the ordinary I will try to explain how I did it. You can still always email me if you don't understand or have any other questions.

Thanks for checking me out. Hope you have a wonderful week and I'll talk to you soon.

SFYTT - SU Card

I seem to be losing some subscribers and I have a feeling it is due to not using very many SU stamps in the last few months. Just to let you know I am going to try and use at least one, if not two, SU stamp sets a week. There are just so many stamps out there I like. I made two cards this evening with SU stamps but I am only posting one today along with another that I used Hanna Stamps on. I hope you like them both.

The SU card uses Jen's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) for this past Saturday. The Hanna card was put together not following a sketch.

Thanks for taking the time to check me out today. See you tomorrow with another card. Talk to you soon.

Hanna Stamps Sneak Peeks Day 3

Here is set number 3 that is being released for Hanna Stamps tomorrow. It's called Pool Party and it has tons of cute images for summer fun. I can't wait til the pool is opened, not much longer now. Woohoo!!

I started with a Tempting Turquoise card base and used Pink Flamingo for my designer paper. The matching colors are Real Red, Summer Sun, Cameo Coral and Tempting Turquoise. Great summertime paper. I stamped 3 different images from the set (a boy, a girl, and a dog) all on their floats in the pool. The images were mounted on a piece of white cardstock that was cut out with Long Rectangle Nestabilities. I sponged Tempting Turquoise Ink on the main image panel to make it look like it was the pool and then each of the images were cut out and mounted with Dimensionals. How do you like those 3 Glitter Brads on the bottom right side of the card? I think they are some cute blingage!!

I have one more set to show you on Monday and then the Release Party is Monday night at 9pm on SCS. Don't forget to show up cause you don't want to miss all the fun.

Now check out what all the Design Team Members have come up with and I will see you back here tomorrow. Talk to you soon.

Hanna Stamps Sneak Peeks Day 2

So what do you think about this new Riley that's being released this coming Monday from Hanna Stamps? Isn't he just as cute as the one I showed you yesterday? This is BBQ Riley and he decided to cook me some hot dogs. Yeah!! I tried (not sure I succeeded) to make this card look like a picnic table cloth.

I started with a Real Red card base and used a small piece of designer paper from the Ghostly Greetings pack behind the main panel. Riley was stamped with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, colored with Copic Markers and cut out with Oval Nestabilities. The background was created by punching Red and White cardstock out with a small square punch and mounting them on black cardstock. I used the word window punch for the sentiment but made the panel a little longer than the punch to better fit the sentiment and bling. It is finished off with Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon.

We are on day 2 of our 4 day sneak peek with it all ending with the Release Party on SCS at 9pm Monday night. Come join us for a lot of fun. Now go check out what the Design Team members have come up with.

Hanna Stamps Sneak Peeks

Hello and Happy Friday!! I have a wonderful announcement. I am one of the May Guest Designers for Hanna Stamps. Woohoo!! I am so honored that they asked me to help showcase their stamps this month. Starting today and going through Monday you will see sneak peeks of their new May releases. Here is a fun new Riley going swimming. Isn't he the cutest? As warm as it's been here lately it feels like swimming weather.

This is one of two new Riley's that is being released this month. I started out with a Green Galore card base and used Rainbow Sherbet for my designer paper. The coordinating colors are Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal and Green Galore. Riley was stamped with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, colored with Copic Markers and cut out and mounted on Circle Nestabilities. The sentiment is from another one of the new releases that I will show you on another day. It was stamped and cut out with the Large Oval Punch and the Scalloped Oval Punch. I used a Martha Stewart Border Punch on one of the patterned paper mats. It is finished off with some Green Grosgrain Ribbon and some Designer Brads.

Check out the Design Team Members to see what wonderful samples they have in store for you.

OCCC - Meet Agnes

This is another card I did last weekend while on a stamping retreat. I would like you to meet Agnes. She is another cutie from the KETTO line at StampingBella. I did this card for the Our Creative Corner Challenge (OCCC) from March 28, 2009. The contest giveaway is already over but I really wanted to do this sketch so here is what I came up with.

I started out with a Regal Rose card base and used a Baja Breeze piece from the designer prints pack and a Regal Rose piece from the Sweet Always designer pack. The coordinating color I used is Old Olive for my mats. I stamped Agnes with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed her with Clear Embossing Powder, colored her with Copic Markers and cut her out with an Oval Nestie. The outside edge of the background piece has been pierced with a Paper Piercer and Mat Pack. The sentiment is from the Hanna Stamps set called Things Hanna Would Say. I finished up with some Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon with six Clear Kaiser Rhinestones added.

Thanks for coming by to check me out. It has gotten up to 88 degrees here in Georgia today. It was absolutely gorgeous. We are supposed to have a whole weekend of this beautiful weather. Hope your weekend is great. Talk to you soon.

CPS111 & CC214 - Wedding Hanna

This card is a submission for two challenges this week, Card Positioning Systems Sketch - CPS111 and SplitCoast Stampers Color Challenge - CC214. I used a new stamp set I received this past Saturday from Hanna Stamps called Bridal. I think this Hanna that's getting married is absolutely adorable. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful stamp!!!

I started with a Bordering Blue card base and used Bella Birds as my designer paper. The coordinating colors are So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, and Chocolate Chip. Hanna was stamped with SU's Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, and colored with Copic Markers. Her wedding gown was highlighted with a Sakura Glaze Pen but I don't think the sparkle shows up very well in this picture. It's nice and glittery IRL as well as her earrings. The main image is mounted on Long Rectangle Nestabilities. I stamped the sentiment with Chocolate Chip Craft Ink also, embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder and cut out with SU's Large Oval Punch. A designer brad has been put on the upper right corner of the sentiment panel. It is finished off with some White Organdy and Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks for coming by to check me out on this Wednesday. I hope to be working on SCS's Sketch Challenge later today so be sure to check back with me to see what I have come up with. Have a great week. Talk to you soon.

SFYTT - My First Hanna

Isn't this just the prettiest girl you have ever seen taking a rest from working in her garden? This is Hanna and she is from the set I Love My Garden by Hanna Stamps. This is my first Hanna card and I really like how it turned out. Love that Tea Party designer paper from SU too.

I created this card for Jen del Muro's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) from yesterday. The sunflower actually has a stalk on the pink cardstock behind it but I have mostly covered it up. I knew as soon as I finished the card that when people looked at it they would go "Did she mess up on that pink cardstock and try to cover it up?" Oh well, there is a nice pretty sunflower stalk hiding back there. LOL!! I have paper pieced her hat and her blouse with the Tea Party designer paper. The rest of Hanna is colored with Copics. She was cut out and popped on another stamped image of herself. The sentiment is all one stamp but has been cut apart and the I (heart) part was popped on top of a heart from SU's new 3-heart punch.

Hope this week finds you at a good place in your life. God has been good to me and I am very blessed at this time in my life. Thanks for visiting and please come back to see me.
