December SFYTT Recap!

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!

Sorry I've not posted in a few days...the hustle and bustle of the season have been keeping me busy.

There is still time to play along with the December SFYTT...which sadly is the last SFYTT, ever.  Here is another look at this month's sketch...I really love it!

This month, the SFYTT is sponsored by the one, the only, Splitcoast Stampers!  YAY!

Here are the two cards I created for this month's SFYTT.  For my first card I used My Favorite Things stamps and Die-Namics!

My second card features Taylored Expressions stamps!

Here is the 411 for the SFYTT!  Check out Jen's Blog for all the deets!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! I will be back after Christmas with some new projects! I wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas full of love, peace and happiness!

Thank You {December SFYTT}!

Hi everyone!!  Happy Saturday!

I am back with another card using the fabulous December SFYTT!  Here is another look at this month's sketch:

This month, the SFYTT is sponsored by the one and only Splitcoaststampers...my home away from home!

My card today features stamps from one of my favorite stamp companies who just happen to be a Member Company on SCS, Taylored Expressions!

I used the super cute Oh What A Day set from Taylored Expressions for my card today, and I started by stamping these happy flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers.  I added some Crystal Stickles to them to make them shine.  I cut out the panel, and layered it, using circle dies and separated the two panels with Foam Tape.

All of the patterned papers are Walnut Grove from Pebbles, which I really love.   I sponged the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.   I embossed the background with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.  Here is a closeup of these happy flowers!

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

The December SFYTT Is Here!

Hi everyone!!  Happy Saturday!

I CANNOT believe that today is December 1st!!!  WOW!!  Since it's the first Saturday of the month, that means a new SFYTT Sketch!!!  YAY!  Check out this month's sketch!

This month, the SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by the one, the only Splitcoaststampers! YAY!  SCS has been my "home" since I began stamping...I {heart} SCS!

For my card today I used lots of goodies from My Favorite Things, a member company at SCS!  I wanted to create a card for my cousin, whose baby shower is today!  She had her little girl, Sabrina, in August, and little Miss Sabrina was REALLY early, and she is still in the NICU but will becoming home soon (YAY!!!!).  My cousin is one strong woman, and I cannot even wait until this little peanut comes home and I can meet her!!

For my card today I've used the darling Pure Innocence Girl and Baby.  She was stamped onto X Press It Blending card and colored with Copic Markers and I paper pieced her dress, and the baby blanket, with the same papers I've used on my card, 5th & Frolic from Dear Lizzy.

Here is a closeup of this sweetie.  She is popped up with Jody Boosters onto two layered circles cut with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics, and I added a circle of rhinestones for some bling.

The flower was cut from patterned paper using the Pretty Posies Die-Namics (love these) and I adorned it with a Sour Apple Button tied with some Hemp Cord.  The sentiment, "Your Are A Gift" was stamped onto a Sweet Tooth panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.  The card base is Sno Cone, the layers are Sweet Tooth and the main layer is Kraft.

On the inside I added more patterned paper, along with a border cut with the Small Scallop Border Die-Namics.  I stamped her name and date of birth using the Mini Banner Day Alphabet and then cut it out and layered it using the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!

Here is my SUPER late post using the November SFYTT! It's an awesome sketch, and I am SO glad I finally got to use it!  When this sketch premiered I had no power thanks to Hurricane Sandy, and last night, when I was all set to stamp, my little one wasn't feeling well so I wasn't able to get into my stamp room.

I was just able to stamp now...my day was spent with Edward and Jacob!  I saw Breaking Dawn Part 2 (twice...in a row.  Yes, I am obsessed) and I LOVED LOVED LOVED it!  Anyway...here is this month's sketch:

This month the SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by the fabulous Sweet Stamp Shop!  They have the CUTEST stamps!

For my card I used the darling Scootin' By stamp set!  All of the patterned papers are Seen & Noted from Pebbles that I got from Taylored Expressions.  I stamped the scooter, colored it with Copic Markers and then fussy cut it out.  The sentiment, "Happy Birthday" was stamped onto a panel cut with the Sentiment Strips Die-Namics from MFT.  I attached a Red Hot Button tied with Hemp Cord to the panel to anchor it.

I used the Circle STAX 1 and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics to cut the circles under the scooter, and I added a border with the Simply Scallops Die-Namics.  I finished off the card with a saddle stitch ribbon and bow combo.

Here is a closeup of the scooter:

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:
