HMFMC # 343 Anything goes + the option of Make it Small.

 

I'm joining the current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge with the option of Make it Small.  For my project I started with an image from the House Mouse Designs Spring Mini Clear set and a tag.

I began the tag base with my gelli plate and acrylic inks.  I then added a couple of layers with various distress inked stenciling.  The image was stamped directly to the tag with VersaClaire ink and colored with Copics.  The bottom border is washi tape from my stash.

I finished the tag with a retired Verve Scripture stamp on white tissue paper.  I trimmed the tissue close to the sentiment and applied it with matte gel.  Fibers from my stash coordinated perfectly for the tassel.

Create A Smile - June Sketch Challenge

 

I'm joining the current sketch challenge at Create A Smile with a set from their June release - Pig Out.  Aren't these the cutest little pigs?!

The pigs were stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  They were fussy cut and placed onto the "window" panel.  A few Jolee dimensional stickers were added for a backdrop.  The slimline design card was finished with a coordinating sentiment from the set.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge- June Fancy or Fussy

 

I'm joining the current "Fancy or Fussy" challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge with this busy group of chicks.  This stamp from Penny Black called Spinning a Yarn makes me smile every time I use it!  It seems that I have been enjoying chicken images lately as well.

 The image was colored with Tombow markers and die cut.  It was layered onto designer papers from BoBunny Celebrating Freedom paper pad and Doodlebug mat sprinkles.  I also added baker's twine for a ball of yarn.  Fun!

Beccy's Place June Challenge

 

I'm joining the June challenge at Beccy's Place using her fun freebie Birthday Stanley.  The birthday cupcake was so much fun to color!  

I used my favorite bright colors using alcohol ink markers.  Stickles were applied to the flames and "sprinkles" were created with 3D liquid paint.

I created my card using the top row of the optional bingo grid. The digital image was layered onto older papers in my stash from Doodlebug Take Note paper pad.  I used my favorite "Bright" colors and Beccy's freebie digital image.

I'm sharing a fun beach scene birthday card for the current challenge at Your Next Stamp -- Water Play.

My card features the adorable Mini Snorkel Fun Penguin (CYNS211) and the Beach Scene Builder die from MFT.

The card started with a Gelli Print background using distress inks and spritzed water.  The die cuts were used with various Stampin' Up card stock and assembled for the scene.  The penguin was stamped, colored with Tombow markers and fussy cut.  I added a birthday sentiment from YNS Keepin' it Reel set.

Di's Digi Design Challenge - For A Child

 

I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi  Stamps with a fun "For a Child" birthday card.  I chose Di's Dog Gone Cutie Pals for my card.  It was colored with alcohol markers and charcoal pencil was used for shading.

The image was die cut with a Wonky Stitched die then layered onto designer papers from Doodlebug Design Puppy Love paper pad.

HMFC #342 Anything Goes + the option of Matching Envelope

 

I'm joining the current challenge at House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.  My card features a sweet image from the Stampindous Spring Mini Clear set (POPHM54). 

I started with a Gelli Print panel using a wax resist technique.  You can find the panel on my Instagram account here.  The digital Scripture was printed then I stamped the House-Mouse image and colored with Tombow markers and pencil.  I finished the card with a few Stampin' Up rhinestones.

I also included an optional matching envelope with the same HM image and a border of hearts.  This will be going into my Anniversary card stash.

I'm sharing a fun card for the June Moodboard challenge at Create A Smile.  My card features a fun lemonade freebie from Create A Smile.  You can find their free images here.

The digital lemonade glass was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I fussy cut the image and layered onto lemon designer paper from Ms. Sparkle & Co. - Jo-Ann Stores.  The digital sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps.

Colour Crazy Craft Challenge Week 23 Anything Goes

 

 

I'm excited to be Guest Designing at the Colour Crazy Challenge blog this summer.  My first post was SO fun to color!  

 

Our sponsor this week is Lee Holland Arts.  I chose the adorable Squirrel with Birthday Balloons digital image. 

The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I used a scallop circle die to mask and sponge the sky.  I imagined the squirrel skipping along to a birthday party so I added a Happy Birthday sentiment.  The panel was die cut using a Wonky Stitched die.

Good morning!  I'm sharing a fun No Layer birthday card featuring Gerda Steiner Designs.  I combined a couple of sets to create my scene - Chicken Scratch and Dachshunds.

I started by stamping the chicken on kraft card stock.  I applied a mask then stamped a retired Stampin' Up! Chicken Wire background stamp.  The scene was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  So FUN!

I'm joining the current YNS Challenge with one of my favorite YNS sets - Keepin' It Reel.  It's perfect for all of the fisherman in our family and a great Father's day set.

I followed the sunset photo prompt by inking the Sea and Sky Stencil from Hero Arts for the background of the scene.  The "sand" was created with torn brown cardstock.  I lightly inked the edges for dimension.

This will be going out to my Father-in-law next week.  Hope he likes it!

Hebrews 11:1 - Faith

I came across the cute digital image while searching Pinterest this weekend.  It is from Pink Gem Designs in Australia.  It's a new company to me, but the Etsy store has tons of cute images.  This image is called Ella with Dragonfly.

The image was colored with Copic Markers, shaded with charcoal pencil and mounted onto papers from Doodlebug Design's Hello Sunshine paper pad. 

The Scripture sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

The image was colored with Tombow Markers and fussy cut.  I chose to include the option of embossing with a camera emboss folder.  The sentiment is from MFT placed over the negative of a MFT sun die that I came across in my scraps.  I think it worked perfectly!

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge - #304 Anything Goes with Mo

 

I was the lucky winner at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge for April.  Mo generously provides the winner with a fun image from the shop and a chance to guest design with the team.

I've been building up my birthday card stash lately.  I found inspiration on Pinterest for this clean and simple design using Mo's Lazy Mutt digital set. 

The images were printed onto Kraft card stock using Microsoft Word.  The sentiments were inserted with Word as well. Prismacolor pencils were used to color the images.  I layered the panel onto polkadot paper from Colorbok.

Hope you get a chance to join Mo's team this month.  It's always "Anything Goes" as long as a Mo Manning image is the main focus.

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #23 and A Blog Named Hero - June Monochrome

 

I'm playing along with a couple of Hero Arts challenges tonight featuring their May Kit of the Month, Water Flow slimline stencil and Sea You set PLUS a fun reef die.  

I started the card base with sponging various blue distress inks using the Water Flow Slimline Stencil.  The reef die was cut from Hero Arts cardstock.  The fish and starfish were stamped onto a scrap of watercolor paper which has been splattered with blue inks.

I LOVE how this turned out!  What's more fun than enjoying the ocean in the Sun!
